Juan was a life saver. He helped us patch up our tire that went almost flat. Juan was great. So efficient and helpful. Made it so easy it was 15 min wait for him to patch it all up. He found a massive nail in the tire which was crazy but luckily we got fixed in time before they closed. Thank you Juan! read more

I was driving to visit my daughter in Vegas for roller con with my cat in tow in the 106 degree heat. We got into Barstow and the TPMS sensor went off. My tire pressure went from 41 to 20 in about 10 seconds. We had to safely get off the freeway and hope for the best, fast. I limped over to Mota's who looked closed. My tire was ripped open and unrepairable but he had one in stock.. 20 mins later and $90 we were back on the road. Super happy with the service, it was hot as hell! Note: Cash only read more

The thing is most places rip you off, right? When I went in to replace a tire they said $55 for a tire that looked brand new I just 160 for a flat so I said I will take 3 He had them and I was sitting there waiting and he says man, you only need two I forgot I replaced as back tire awhile back I was surprised by his honesty I was grateful too this place is not fancy but it's righteous read more

Got a flat in the way to Las Vegas. 4 girls trying to get any car work done can open many windows for people to take advantage of us. The guy working there was very nice, personable and explained and showed us everything. Love supporting honest small businesses! read more

I can't even explain how happy I was for the man who was there today to help me. I went to another tire shop first and the other shop refused service on account of there was only one employee there, I went to Mota's and he was busy answering phone calls talking to guests that drove up & taking care of my car effortlessly without breaking a sweat & when it was all said and done. The man gave me my money back. Because he didn't have to do a patch but he did take my tire off and help ease my nerves so I tipped him for his troubles best service I've had in a long time. Very nice people as well. read more

Needed a new valve stem on my trailer tire, they were able to get me in quickly and charged me a very fair price for the service. I ended up buying a new trailer tire as well for again a very fair price that included mounting and new stem. Won't hesitate to go back again when I'm looking for tires or tire service. read more

$10 to remove a screw from my tire and patch it. We couldn't find anybody working there, so had to call from my cell to find them out back, but fast and friendly service. Went to Pete's first, but guess their guys leave at noon on Saturdays and they were nearly twice as much read more

Mora's tire saved me on the way to a tournament! Tire pressure light came on near Barstow after 6pm. They were open late! Super fast and efficient! Reasonably priced! Had me back on the road safely within 30mins. I highly recommend this hidden gem! read more

Great little shop, open on Sundays when everyone else was closed. Tire light was showing a low tire we pulled in and they pulled off the tire, completely checked it for nails or valve stem issues and found nothing wrong with the tire. Mounted the tire back and didn't charge us a thing. GREAT SHOP! read more

I am reviewing their other location on main street. Got 2 new tires put on about a year ago. Cheap price was their only pro. Left, and my low tire light came on within a block. I checked the tire pressure at the gas station across the street and they were both under 15psi when the car asks for 45+. Went back and they filled it to the correct pressure. Thinking about it now, they must not have balanced my wheels, as air was never put in the tires to begin with. read more

My wife had a tire blowout in the middle of the desert about an hour outside of Barstow around 5pm. I called several places, but they all closed at 6:00PM and most didn't carry her size tire in stock (245 50 20) for a Ford Edge Limited. I found Mota's on Facebook and when I messaged them, I got an almost instant reply. They gave me a number to call and it was answered immediately. Mota's found the right tire, gave me directions and told me to have my wife head straight there. At around 6:25 Mota's messaged me on Facebook asking if my wife was still coming. I told them she was headed that way but because she was on a space saver spare, she couldn't drive very fast and would never make it before they closed. I told them we would get a hotel and see them in the morning. Mota's said no way, they would gladly stay and wait for her to make sure she was helped and could get home to Los Angeles tonight. True to their word, they stayed open an extra 30 minutes to get us taken care of. They were fast, efficient and very reasonable on their prices. I really felt like my wife and kids were in good hands. I am very grateful for Mota's and for their willingness to do whatever it took to see that my family was taken care. I *highly* recommend Mota's to anyone needing fast, friendly, "go out of their way" service in the Barstow area. read more

Very friendly, very reasonable, and really quick. Just make sure you have cash, they don't accept credit cards.

I ordered a set of 4 tires from Mota's Tires yesterday and the delivery came in today..but in the wrong size. They knew I was going out of town and needed the tires on today, but the correct size wouldn't be in until Monday. They had one set of Michelins in stock and the cost was way higher than what I ordered. (I googled the tire after I got it to see that they sell for just under double what I paid.) I told them those tires were not in my budget and they gave them to me anyways. The delivery error was not their fault, but they ate the cost difference to send me off with new tires. I went to them after American Tire Depot in Victorville tried to cheat me out of my warranty. I'm glad it happened this way. They could have refunded me or they could have just left me screwed before leaving town for a week. It takes a lot for me to write a review about anything, but this was well deserved. read more

The wife went in to get a couple used tires for the commuter. She said service was fast and the two tires she got came with pretty good tread. They also took 5 bucks off the purchase which was pretty cool. When I called prior to her going, the man who answered was pretty nice and didn't sound like the regular ol' grease monkey that you get on the phone with most places. Will be returning when the commuter car needs more tires. read more

My tire blew out coming back from Las Vegas and I ended up here. While yes he gave me a deal (-$5 after I asked if I were to purchase two tires instead of one) One of the tires I purchase from this place was low by the time I got home to LA and completely flat the next day. It had plug in it!!! Now I've figured out he took my metal caps off the tires. Sad. I heard from a local this place was good but I guess except for a traveling woman with two small kids... read more
