I can't even explain how happy I was for the man who was there today to help me. I went to another tire shop first and the other shop refused service on account of there was only one employee there, I went to Mota's and he was busy answering phone calls talking to guests that drove up & taking care of my car effortlessly without breaking a sweat & when it was all said and done. The man gave me my money back. Because he didn't have to do a patch but he did take my tire off and help ease my nerves so I tipped him for his troubles best service I've had in a long time. Great little shop, open on Sundays when everyone else was closed. Tire light was showing a low tire we pulled in and they pulled off the tire, completely checked it for nails or valve stem issues and found nothing wrong with the tire. I am reviewing their other location on main street. Got 2 new tires put on about a year ago. Cheap price was their only pro. Left, and my low tire light came on within a block. I checked the tire pressure at the gas station across the street and they were both under 15psi when the car asks for 45+. Went back and they filled it to the correct pressure. Thinking about it now, they must not have balanced my wheels, as air was never put in the tires to begin with. read more

My wife had a tire blowout in the middle of the desert about an hour outside of Barstow around 5pm. I called several places, but they all closed at 6:00PM and most didn't carry her size tire in stock (245 50 20) for a Ford Edge Limited. I found Mota's on Facebook and when I messaged them, I got an almost instant reply. They gave me a number to call and it was answered immediately. Mota's found the right tire, gave me directions and told me to have my wife head straight there. At around 6:25 Mota's messaged me on Facebook asking if my wife was still coming. I told them she was headed that way but because she was on a space saver spare, she couldn't drive very fast and would never make it before they closed. I told them we would get a hotel and see them in the morning. Mota's said no way, they would gladly stay and wait for her to make sure she was helped and could get home to Los Angeles tonight. True to their word, they stayed open an extra 30 minutes to get us taken care of. They were fast, efficient and very reasonable on their prices. I really felt like my wife and kids were in good hands. I am very grateful for Mota's and for their willingness to do whatever it took to see that my family was taken care. I *highly* recommend Mota's to anyone needing fast, friendly, "go out of their way" service in the Barstow area. read more

I ordered a set of 4 tires from Mota's Tires yesterday and the delivery came in today..but in the wrong size. They knew I was going out of town and needed the tires on today, but the correct size wouldn't be in until Monday. They had one set of Michelins in stock and the cost was way higher than what I ordered. (I googled the tire after I got it to see that they sell for just under double what I paid.) I told them those tires were not in my budget and they gave them to me anyways. The delivery error was not their fault, but they ate the cost difference to send me off with new tires. I went to them after American Tire Depot in Victorville tried to cheat me out of my warranty. I'm glad it happened this way. They could have refunded me or they could have just left me screwed before leaving town for a week. It takes a lot for me to write a review about anything, but this was well deserved. read more

The wife went in to get a couple used tires for the commuter. She said service was fast and the two tires she got came with pretty good tread. They also took 5 bucks off the purchase which was pretty cool. When I called prior to her going, the man who answered was pretty nice and didn't sound like the regular ol' grease monkey that you get on the phone with most places.
