Great little spot for delicious, reasonably priced wines. We tried the semi-flight and bought almost every one of them to take home! Liked the Tremitt so well we bought 2. The liqueurs are also QUITE good. Sweet, but tasty. Pumpkin Spice was surprisingly good and great for fall! The port has a nice cherry flavor. read more

Came here on a wine tour for a bachelorette party. We were told we don't need a reservation as our group was smaller. When we arrived we were greeted with a very rude bartender that was angry no reservation was made and went to another party. Not a bad option along the Finger Lakes, with wine and spirits offered. The wines were just okay to me, but the spirits were good. Grappa isn't common in the area, so I appreciated that, and their brandies and ports were great. Definitely recommend a tasting of their spirits especially. We were 15 minutes late for our appointment (our fault), and I could understand them being upset, but the service was so rushed and unwelcoming that it hampered our experience. read more

Our friend's mother owns and runs this winery with her family. My friends and I had the best time! The tasting counter inside was intimate and informative! The outside was a great lively atmosphere with live music and BBQ food. My favorite wine hands down was the Dry Cayuga. SO good we bought a bottle home. Aside from the semi truck that blew a tire on the road as we were arriving, this visit was fantastic!!! (Yeah, that was a little scary!!) They have a great selection of dry and sweeter wines which are offered as flights, and some hard stuff as well (Grappa, Brandy). Very friendly and chatty staff, and awesome service! read more

Weird weird experience here - we had an actual reservation and we "forced out " too bad -- I would have bought more wine! By forced out I mean it was under 8 mins sitting - the other Across from us was there for the whole time we were there plus when we got there they were still sitting there so therefore the 15 minute rule didn't apply to the other couple just us and it was under 10 minutes when we left read more

Awesome experience As soon as we walked in it was like I was at Moe's, where they say welcome to Moe's as soon as you enter the establishment. There were two men doing the wine assisting. The one guy had just started, and the other guy was amazing. He provided us a quick history lesson of the owner and his wines. On top of that, all of the wines we tasted were very good and inexpensive. They had creative names and labels on the winery bottles. This was my favorite label. If you like Dry wine, and like Niagra then go here and try the Dry Niagara wine. I've only tried 2 dry Niagaras and this was the best I've ever had. They have a flight of 3 different types of wines. Semi, Dry or Sweet flights. You get 5-6 different tastings. The cost is $5 per flight. read more

This place was unique. They had wine tastings and ports. They have an expresso with a liquor that they make and it was absolutely delicious. I loved this vineyard, they have outdoor seating and the guy was so friendly who did our tasting. The inside is not big but it's worth stopping. read more

Highly disappointing. Made reservations for a tasting. Felt unwanted there. I am currently breastfeeding and used a wearable pump while there and the bartender accused me of "being really full" and assumed i put bottles in my shirt. We stopped here on a whim. The service was excellent. The sweet wines were good but not exceptional. To be fair it's a tall order to be exceptional at sweet wines in this area. The beer is still a bit of a work in progress. They have an agreement with Cortland brewing. Still it was certainly decent and the amber beer was actually pretty good. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. After a day full of wonderful service at other wineries we went here hoping for the same. Came with a bachelorette party, our pregnant friend was not drinking and others decided to share a tasting. The sommelier and owner were there. We were the only ones doing a tasting and the sommelier was absolutely RUDE!!! I've never been treated so poorly. When he was doing the tasting he was making snide remarks and giving no information about the wine - which gave me the impression he was not knowledgeable about the wine. Despite us taking covid precautions, it seemed as though he didn't want us there. If that's the case - why accept reservations and customers. The owner stood silently on the side and watched while we were belittled. They had a cat in the tasting room and when one of us went to pet the cat she was reprimanded. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Terrible experience - AND the wine was terrible!!!! read more

There was little special about the facilities at this wine tasting stop, although the wines were tasty and there were options to mix and match or add on another wine to taste. The tasting areas are inside. Not as polished as other facilities. Staff were friendly and very informed about their products including several award winners. Only discount if you purchase 6 bottles or more. Flights included dry, semi-sweet and grappa/port series. $5 per flight. Decent for a one time stop but would not be high priority to re-visit give the many other winery options in the area read more

This is one winery you should consider skipping. Our group of 4 was there (and there was a group of two there as well) and we were not impressed. The man serving the wines was not friendly at all. None of us like the idea of wine flights because we actually like to try the wines WE are interested in trying, not some pre-determined selections. A few of us like both sweeter whites and the dry reds, but we were told the server "was on a security camera" and could not substitute wines and was only allowed to serve the flights. He did say he could swap out one wine. We were confused because what's the difference in just serving us the wines we wanted to try? It's not like we wanted more samples. He made us feel like we were stupid for not wanting to purchase multiple flights for each of us. It was also a bit off-putting to have us pay immediately for our tastings. It was as if he didn't trust us and had to grab our money right away. We have been to many, many wineries where we were treated much more hospitably and more pleasantly. Some wines were decent and honestly, we would have bought more than one bottle if we had been treated like we were welcomed. Bad, bad attitude leaves a bad, bad impression. read more

Stopped at Rock Stream 7/7/17. We stopped because of the labels on the bottles. What a fun place. The server was very nice and told us which grapes were in the wines we were tasting. We are sweet wine lovers, but ended up buying some of the dryer choices just because of the labels. Sad to see on one of the labels the "Booby Banger" is the last edition. Hopefully he has another label that will entice me to try a wine out of my tasting zone. Bought 4 bottles of wine and would recommend to anyone. Did my research and found they had sweet wines and loved the labels, so we stopped. Nothing like some of the negative reviews. Loosen up. read more

We came here to try a new winery. The man who poured our wine was good at first, he seemed very knowledgeable. Then a bus came up, he started to look at every female on the bus and comment on how unattractive they were. This is where it started to go down hill. A group of three women came in, the male pouring wine now mentioned to my wife and I 'finally some hot chicks' and then began to ask the women if they were single. He was so creepy that we had to stop our tasting and leave. The wine might be good but the employee was overly creepy and we will NEVER go back. Both my wife and I are so disappointed in the winery. Came here as part of the wine and cheese weekend and it was a zoo! The servers were clearly not having a great day and if you missed something or tried to get in for something they seemed annoyed. We stopped by the winery out of curiosity, haven driven buy on several occasions on trips up and down Rte. 14. It was unique, as was our experience to say the least. The wines were OK but nothing to rave about. There were a few patrons, so there was a bit of a wait and allowed time for observations. 1. Although unique, the art of wine and spirit making appears to be an after thought and more of "let's open a vineyard and winery" in this case. Perhaps it's a work in progress? There is clearly an "art" to this artisan craft that has not been mastered. Some have it some don't.... it's in your blood, and not the case here. This is not something you just learn overnight or via a visit to another winery. 2. The wines get a C score. Somewhat sweet, if that is your desire, you are good. Tasting left a weird after taste that I have not experienced. Beers were from Cortland Brewing. We just sampled and did not buy anything. 3. Although I was neutral to not impressed, the décor and product labels were offensive to the rest of our party. Again, although unique, not in good taste. 4. Admittedly, I did peruse other reviews to see if I had a basis for this. The censured reviews were posted by the owner's significant other/girl friend, so they were disqualified. After the fact, I found that the gentleman that I was watching was the owner. Let's say he is a bit on the perverted side, and is more than obvious as he gives women the once over to check out their goods, including my wife. His commentary was less than beholding and one should wonder why he is in this business and out among customers. 5. The grounds, back rooms could have been more tidy. There was no exceptional views that did not make this winery standout. It's your call, but this winery could be passed by. read more
