I would not do business with anyone else! This is the second time I have used Chattanooga Granite…read moreand Marble for two separate houses. Both times the quality of work I have received has been excellent! They are always pleasant. In fact, they rushed to meet my deadline. They sincerely wanted to make me happy. Service has long been a lost art in our society and when it is discovered in a company, loyalty is the result. I am loyal to Chattanooga Granite and Marble. I am constantly telling others to use them. Another reason, and I might say a very important one, that I use them is the uniqueness of their stone. You might be able to find average stone in the home improvement stores, but you cannot find the beauty and the uniqueness of a stone offered by Chattanooga Granite and Marble. You can bring your own template and lay it on the stone and see what your project will look like! Try to do that at the everyday home stores. One of the projects we used them for was HUGE counter height island that seats seven. After installation I saw that it was perfect and for a perfectionist like me that's saying a lot. I had brought them a sink I had picked up at an auction, and they observed a scratch on it. They called me! I went and looked and decided not to use it. Most places would just install it and never say a word. They care. I am not a relative, a friend or a connection in anyway. I am a customer, and a very pleased one. Scott and Carol Whitney

Our first install by MC was when they opened their Blue Ridge location. It was for a standard…read morekitchen and we were happy with the finished look. I read the negative reviews from 1-2 years ago and still went there for an estimate for our remodel this spring. Joy was great to work with, patient, helpful and always commuted well - whether a return call or in person. We tried them again. We added a 16 x 18 kitchen with a farm sink and bar sink cut outs and a bath vanity top for a vessel sink. There work was excellent, on time and beat two other quotes. I'm sorry to read that others have had bad experiences in the past but we've now used MC for three different jobs and would definitely use them again.

I do NOT recommend MC Granite due to the numerous issues I experienced. Some of the major issues…read moreinclude: our slabs were moved to a location further away from us for no reason. Then after arriving for one of our planned layout meetings, we could not see the slab because it was unavailable. After finally having the layout meeting, one part of the backsplash was installed upside down and another part was cut from a different section without notifying us. After so many issues, I shared with them my concerns and they admitted fault and reduced the bill some. I have never written a review before for a product or company (good or bad), but I do not want anyone to suffer this type of customer service that I encountered at MC Granite.

Two things: NEVER let anyone cut granite in your house without the device made to connect to the saw the collects the massive amount of white dust! As the result of not using the right equipment and not sealing my kitchen off it took me three weeks to clean all I could see on surfaces then hire someone to get to fabric, baseboards, blinds, shades and windows. Warning two. Tell your install crew not to put any cans, brushes or rags on your furniture. One of the installers left a rag soaked in a caustic material on my antique ponderosa pine table, causing it to cloud into the wood. The table top had to be completely refinished. My Rocky Tops agreed to pay for that but since the job in April, keeps telling me the "woman who writes the checks" hasn't. I paid for the refinishing in hope that the woman who writes checks would come across the payment due to the customer subjected to carelessness causing damage. These were nice people to deal with and they accommodated me by finding a granite that matched my budget. They just need to be more aware of what they are doing while in someone's home and stand behind their word Now, no one wants to return my call

I had a granite countertop installed and, unfortunately, the experience ended on a disappointing…read morenote. The initial installation could not be completed because the sink was cutout incorrectly. To their credit, customer service was great, and they corrected the issue. After the countertops were installed, I noticed the sealant was uneven, and they again responded promptly and sent someone out to fix it. I genuinely appreciated how both of those issues were handled. However, my experience took a much more concerning turn afterward. I discovered that one of my security cameras had been moved and was no longer facing my door. Footage from another camera also appeared to show a teenager tapping on my garage door window, seemingly to check whether it was secured. I sent the videos to my sales associate, who said she would pass them along to management. After having to follow up myself, the response I received was that they weren't sure why the camera had been moved because there was no reason to move it, and that the individuals involved had been spoken to. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I appreciated the customer service I received with the countertop issues. However, when something happens on your property that raises security concerns, I believe it deserves more than a delayed response relayed through a sales associate. In my opinion, a phone call directly from the manager, acknowledging what happened and offering a sincere apology, would have been appropriate. The quality of customer service during the initial problems gave me confidence in the company, which made the lack of direct communication and accountability afterward especially disappointing. The countertop issues were corrected, but the way the security concerns were handled left a lasting negative impression. Good customer service is not just about fixing installation mistakes; it is also about how a company responds when something more serious happens.
