Buyer beware! This company is dishonest and very poor at communicating. We ordered a custom piece of granite for our bathroom remodel, but unfortunately the sinks were set crooked by nearly an inch, did not fit into the vanity, and instead of them backing their work as they swore they would, they said we should cut wood away from the support arms under the vanity, cut the drywall, and shave the sinks to make it fit. After speaking with 2 different contractors, both warned us not to do this, as it will degrade the structural integrity of both the vanity and the sinks. MGO claims they do this type of stuff regularly, but that is subpar to say the least. They have refused to fabricate a new one to the correct specs and refused to refund us any of our money. Do not do dealings with them, they are unprofessional jack legs. read more

An exellent job through and through. The sales staff were professional and explained everything very well. Excellent selection of stone too. Measurements were done extremely carefully, and I'm particularly impressed by the cutters, who did an amazing job of minimizing seams. The installers were also careful and complete. We had ordered 2 different times over the last 5 years and was really pleased. But we moved and decided to use them once again. We were so disappointed..we talked with Joel and I we the phone we described what we were looking for and he found us exactly what we wanted. We took multiple measurements and lots of pictures of all the area in the kitchen. 4 different times we got different contracts mixing us up with other customers. We even had them call us to make sure we were there for install. It was again the wrong job. Now I'm worried. Finally got the template guy out. He said we were so very close on the measurements.but the first thing he said is we will need a seam by the sink since there was a wall on both sides. And that the granite is thicker than what we have and we will have to have part of the backsplash removed. Frustrated by this we called a company and it was 500 just to remove part of the backsplash no guarantees on what the backer board will look like. We were so upset we ended up cancelling the order. Then we were told there was a 316 penalty! I was shocked. To me this was their fault. They do this everyday. They had pictures. There should've been a few questions from them to us so we knew if it would work. The most frustrating part is I asked a lot of different questions of what could be done and all I got was I don't know. I can't think of anything that would work. To me there shouldn't have been a penalty. I didn't cancel because I wanted to .I cancelled because there were no answers to make this work . We used a Murphy Granite Outlet technician to repair and seal an existing quartzite countertop in our kitchen. The MGO technician did a thorough assessment and determined that in addition to the cosmetic defects and stains in the stone, our undercount sink was not installed properly. The large sink was merely glued to the stone and had no underlying mechanical support. He also determined that the stone readily absorbed water and other liquids which resulted in multiple stains because it likely had never been sealed. The MGO technician smoothed out all the surface defects, removed all the stains and sealed the countertop with a 25-year stone sealant. He properly remounted our sink and performed a water absorption test to confirm the sealing process was adequate. We are extremely pleased with the outcome of this repair and the good customer service we received. read more

I highly recommend Murphy Granite. I purchased granite and quartz from them on two home remodels. Their installation and quality of service was A+ in my opinion. They delivered and installed as scheduled. When one of the products I chose was no longer available, they went above and beyond to find another comparable product in its place. I was even happier with the replacement. If I ever need to purchase quartz or granite again, I'm calling Murphy Granite. read more
