Sears is out of business and all they have for sale is its name, so the corporation sales it's name to anyone who will pay the price. After all the name Sears has a history of good customer service, however since they went bankrupt they don't care about their reputation so they don't care how these unscrupulous businesses they sell their name to treats the customers. And when the customers complain, thinking that the Sears Corporation will treat them fairly they find out that the only thing that is Sears about them is their name.
