I have a house built in the 1950's with probably few to no electrical updates. I was definitely concerned about finding a qualified Master Electrician with competitive pricing. Maikol definitely fit the bill when he came onsite to provide a quote. He gave me a couple of options for dealing with rewiring the house which had outlets that were not grounded. He carefully explained the pros and cons of each option in laymens terms. He also provided a competitive price to replace the main panel and a couple of other electrical upgrades such as recess lighting. His pricing was on-par with electricians that were not even Master electricians. There was no pressure to agree to do business in person. He provided the quotes for the work later that day via email with no additional pressure. When I hired him for the job, he was very friendly and made sure that I was aware of the progress. He was even willing to match a competitors pricing. He rewired the entire house, replaced the electrical panel, added recess lighting, and added electrical wiring to the new addition to the house. We just moved to a townhouse located inWoodbridge VA and a week after we found out that our electrical panel has been discontinued and has several recalls! At the same time we noticed that our son bedroom was very hot so we were thinking to install a ceiling fan, we start looking for estimates calling a few companies around Woodbridge and Rock's Electric was the must affordable and professional ,Maikol answered all my question and explained to me why the electrical panel has to be replaced. During the job he was very clean and quiet while running the wires for the ceiling fan behind the walls and even installing a wall control to control the fan and the light. For the electrical panel update Maikol made the arrangement to keep the power on to the refrigerator since I'm pregnant and have to small children's that was important to me, beside replacing the electrical panel he also updated the grounding to the panel. Long time ago they are Rock's Electric Garage Doors, Yelp should be up to date! Second, I am happy to see they have so many great reviews since this is exactly what I was thinking: Great service. Tried to connect the garage electric opener to my car, and couldn't make it happen. Even called Genie tech support and they couldn't make it happen. Only Ricky! 5 minutes is all he needed to make the garage open and close using the car system (Apparently almost any car made after 2012 should be able to connect to the electric motor). I called Rock's Electric one morning when I had a problem with one of the circuit breakers in the main control box in my home. I could not find the cause of a short that was causing the breaker to remain off. Maikol Roca with Rock Electric called me back within two hours and said he could be at my house within the hour. Maikol has come to my house upon my request a couple of times. The first time he fixed some recessed lighting for me and explained why the bulbs burn out so quickly. The second time he came was more an emergency call because there were sparks coming out of one of my outlets. He came within a couple hours and fixed it pronto. Great job quickly done. Had three smoke alarms replaced and a light fixture repaired.
