Ecker Electrical is a small electrical contractor from Trumansburg. He was extremely informed of code knowledge. He really helped navigate some of the issues that were very very concerning regarding my old house in my old old wiring. And on a serious note that I had a coworker who who died tragically in seemingly electrical fire recently so it made me extra paranoid, extra urgent. Like I said, Tim was great you know just giving us all the issues risk factors preventative measures you know just you know seeing fires going around from old electrical work you know it made me feel very secure to have someone who is very very knowledgeable and can anticipate problems. So he he was great to work with. He actually had his truck breakdown and he came in like like a superhero on a motorcycle just kind of cool and you know you got everything done like you know coordination he worked around every little hiccup hit his deadlines even though he had a lot of challenges so I really appreciate the work in the meeting the deadlines especially coming from a small business. It could be extra challenging, logistically and stuff like that but like you know he met every deadline. I feel very secure in my house with the upgrades now and no issues. I trusted him because he was local and had done a small job previously for a fair rate. Job was NOT an emergency! NYSEG by passed the switch and said was now safe but needed repair. Have had 4 other competent contractors I would called had I not TRUSTED him to be fair and asked for a quote. When contacted after, the highest one said they would have been at $1200 labor at the most. Keller claimed "flat rate". Flat rate maybe for a Master union electrician with 30 years experience in NYC. Not for a bus driver who took a few courses years ago and moonlights as an electrician. Lesson learned - do not trust the local guy to not take advantage of a senior citizen on fixed income.
