Recently tried for the 1st time with my kids and was instantly addicted. went back again and again with friends. So today when I have a craving I call and ask if curbside pickup is a service they offer. As simple as that. Honey, why'd the man very snakily ask me what's wrong with me, am I sick or can't walk or something........ .... yes he did So after a pause, I say, No, I can't walk. This... person continues with the nasty, rude, snarky response... "I mean if I have to get it to you that way, I can do that. I don't see why... but it could be done...." I politely say to him, sir, I asked you a simple yes or no question and a simple answer would've been appropriate and hung up. This man acted as if I demanded an unfathomable service. If the answer was No, I'd proceed accordingly. If I have a sickness of disability, you just greatly insulted me. I was very impressed with this place once I finally tried it. We found a Rock N Roll Sushi menu is our hotel and the funny sushi names drew us in! I love a good ginger salad, and their salad was great. I had the veggie roll which was missing the avocado. The veggies and fried rice was good but small portion for $14. My fiancé enjoyed his rolls, some had crawfish and the spicy tuna roll. The food arrived very quickly. read more

Waited 10 minutes to get noticed to be seated. Workers were all in the back when sat we were given menus and drink order was taken. We ordered just 4 rolls thinking that would be way more than enough. When the rolls came out they were so small and skinny that the roll didn't have enough rice to even stay together to pick up. Went for lunch yesterday. Egg roll was very good as always. Server was nice and attentive. The salmon roll was ok, but the "yum-yum" sauce and dark sauce (Hoisin? Oyster?) need to be left off. All that sweetness overwhelms the flavor of the sushi. read more

This has been one of my favorite sushi restaurants on this side of the United States. From the friendly waitstaff and great interactions I've had with the staff as a whole. The food has kept me coming back and I will continue to come here any time I manage to find myself in the area. Marquis is one of the best bartenders in the state and continues to treat me like family. Upon meeting one of the owners you can tell she treats the whole staff as her own family and it has truly been one of the best restaurants in Dothan. read more

I've ordered from this place a few times and each time is a surprise. Regularly I order chicken hibachi fried rice and a rainbow roll. The portions of my hibachi have been getting smaller since I've started going and my rice isn't ever evenly mixed (a lot of the rice is white). My standards for sushi are pretty high and no place, including this one, meets my standards of fresh, good quality sushi, but here the fish is better than most places I've tried. I don't think i'll go back again because this time around the quality of fish was worse (lots of fatty tissue on the sushi& tasted fishy) and i ordered a lunch sized chicken hibachi and they forgot the normal accompanying veggies .... they weren't even busy. Going to this place is setting myself up for a new disappointment each time as the quality of their service/products aren't consistent. read more

Food was excellent, fresh and tasty. I would eat there once a week, if not more often. Only drawback is the noise level when it's crowded.

Was a bit disappointed about this place. I looked for like an hour for a good spot to eat at & the advertisement of this restaurant was amazing but when it was given to me it was poor quality. I ordered the chicken solo added shrimp got no shrimp, ordered a kids chicken nuggets & french fries didn't get the fries and crispy wontons with veggie rolls and did not get the sushi. Although I was annoyed, the manager was super professional & nice about the call back & refunded me my money. read more

My husband and I have eaten here three times and the majority of the time we have had no issues. When they first opened I rated them as a 5. I am now convinced that they will barely be a 3. The customer service is good (waitress) the place is usually clean. However the service from the guy who makes the sushi there now is poor. Very unprofessional, It's one thing to really take the time and see if you can make a roll that you all served there before but when you immediately say "no" Out loud before the waitress tries to tell you what the customer requested That's called "rude and ignorant!" I was actually a regular here with friends and family but after this incident I will not be coming here and will always refer to another sushi spot. On another note he was talking about his personal life out loud and how he was ready for the day to be over with. Love this location and we have never had any issues before today. My wife went in and asked if we could get a spicy tuna roll, half tempura and the other half regular. Apparently this created quite a stir for the kitchen. A manager on site gave the kitchen our order and the cook refused to make it. The cook came out of the kitchen and said they could either do one or the other. Perhaps it was a huge deal not to fry the other half. I have no idea. Negative experience though. read more

I came and ate here with my friends. we were advertised that one of there platters had 12 Sushis with it so I order the more expensive plate. It then came with 8 and at that point I would've got a California roll for half the price. Then I ordered a ten dollar drink and it tasted like straight lemonade. Then when the manager with oily hair and a dirty hat came up to give us our food saw that my friend was vaping and decided to address her with and attitude and try and attempt to be nice a second later.. it's giving bi polar. So this place is delicious! I had the teriyaki filet and chicken and it was cooked deliciously! I do think the portion sizes are a little small for the price but still it was delicious! The decor is adorable! Definitely had date night vibes and they also had plenty of seating. This restaurant looked to be perfect for groups and had a separate room. I loved the comfortable booth seating. The service was also friendly and very attentive. The sushi unfortunately was not very great. The rice on the rolls were hard and seemed to be kind of old. When the rolls were served they looked beautiful and really appetizing. I'm not quite sure what happened. The miso soup, however was pretty delicious and nice and hot. I will definitely try this place again as they had some pretty interesting roll combinations and the fish wasn't too bad! read more

I had a party of 3. We waited over 45 minutes on a Friday night at 7:00pm before leaving. We were told there was a 20 min wait, but were puzzled because there were so many available seats. During our 45 min wait, we saw multiple people coming in to eat but then leaving because of the large crowd jammed into the waiting area and spilling outside the building. A couple in front of us asked about the wait and about all the empty tables and 2 separate staff members said those were reserved seats. After 45 min we just left. I don't ordinarily leave reviews but I spent $75 on takeout and Was very disappointed in the lobster stirfry... On the menu it says that it comes with vegetables and rice... Right? Well the vegetables are mixed in with the meat ... Very little meat and was VERY DRY l there was five pieces of it quarter size steak... Or pieces of quarter sized lobster... And six shrimp Don't get me wrong I understand that lobster it is pricey... But if I'm gonna spend $30 on a plate of food, i feel as though it should be worth it! The sushi was pretty good but not extravagant, and the tuna sashimi tasted like water . They certainly will not be getting my business again... read more

Finally!!! Something different in the Wiregrass!!! After driving past this place several times since it opened, my wife and I finally stopped by today for lunch and had an excellent meal. Our waitress was a very pleasant girl named Noel. Noel was very friendly, courteous, and took time explaining some of the more popular dishes. Despite the busy lunch hour, Noel took time to socialize with us a bit and didn't seem rushed. We tried the Headbanger shrimp as an appetizer: delicious and good portions for an app. For our main entree, I enjoyed the Guns'N' Roses accompanied with some yellow tail and unagi nigiri. The GNR was one of the best fried rolls I've ever had. My wife enjoyed the Sam I Am Roll and couldn't stop gushing about how good it was. We enjoyed some chilled Ty Ku pear flavored sake (I buy it elsewhere for consumption at home too...very good) and a few beers, all of which were very refreshing. The rock and roll theme serves this place well. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere complete with contemporary furnishings and rock memorabilia. The music selection is a mix of widely recognized rock tunes from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Overall, we really enjoyed this place. The sushi bar was a little slow processing our order, but Noel was very diligent in keeping us updated and making sure we were ok. The owner should, however, give another thought about their choice of bench seating. The seat backs of the middle benches are very thin and flimsy and are shared between customers sitting back-to-back essentially. This normally wouldn't be a problem, but today it was for me when a very large (obese) and squirmy person sat behind me. Every time he moved...so did I. Super annoying. Also, please turn off the sports channels. This place needs something other than sports to keep with the rock and roll theme. Otherwise, this place is awesome and we look forward to our next visit. read more

Have visited the location three times now from Enterprise, Al. The first two I ordered sushi and it was delicious. This last time I ordered sushi (same as always) and hibachi. It was sub par at best as the sushi seemed stale or as it was sitting around and the hibachi steak and chicken with fried rice was suspect as the rice was hard and the meats were not really fresh. read more

It was like grocery store sushi with a ton of sauce on it. You couldn't taste the fish. Now the décor is cool. I will give them that, but as for freshness, variety, nope. Hard time find anything without fried shrimp in it, friend rolls, cooked rolls. Not sure if it's because I've had really great sushi before (even in Montgomery) that this fails to compare or if it really just stunk. Coming home my stomach felt off. My husband stomach felt off. Well, the wait staff was prompt and friendly. I can totally dig the rock pics, but if you go too early, the vibe really can't even felt as music is low and the lights are high. The food was ok, though I suppose being off the coast in Dothan I cannot complain too much. I would recommend the sushi rolls be tighter and need not as much rice; the pieces were quite large. The seaweed salad was decent, I would request to stick with the seaweed crunchy goodness and leave the spring mix off. The miso was quite good, but could always have more. In any case, if you want to keep it simple with some good flavor, get a spider roll, some miso and a Grateful Dead sipper. Well my first, long overdue, trip here! I have been hearing about the Velcro Pygmie roll since it first made the menu but have not had the time to stop at any of the locations! Ow that I'm solidly working in Dothan I made the time!! Let me just say my team and I ordered up a bunch of rolls... Velcro Pygmies, Green Day, Metallic, and Pearl Jam. Add some Asian Boom Boom Shrimp and a bowl of Miso Soup and we had a nice employee luncheon!!! My favorites were Velcro Pygmies, Metallica, and Pearl Jam!
