Great ATMOSPHERE. Food is good but can be improved. Visiting family in Cullman wanted to try this place and saw that they had ramen. Coming in I loved the decorations of guitars on the walls, roof made to look like a stage set scaffolding in total atmosphere was great I loved the theme. Waiter/host was kind and very attentive. My kid and I tried some ramen and some appetizers. We tried the fried chicken stage stoppers pretty good, very crispy and good sauce. I really like the tuna and avocado appetizer that was really good. We got the creamy tonkotsu, and black garlic tonkotsu. They were out of protein for the ramen by 2pm so that's not very good to run out of food by lunchtime and I will say the ramen was not the best in my opinion. Ramen needs to be seasoned more was lacking the saltiness of the broth and the noodles are a bit over cooked that it breaks very easily. Cook the noodles less and add more bouillon to the broth they'd have a better ramen. The seasoned egg was excellent I give them good points for that a good ramen should always have a good seasoned egg. Also ordered some salmon sashimi and a bagel roll. Sashimi was good and decently fresh but very thin, but they made up for it by decorating it into a rose which was lovely. All in all decor was great, had a good mother and daughter time, food was good but can be improved. read more

We were there recently and it seemed that most of the food was prepackaged reheated from the back of a freezer truck. The waitresses were so stressed with doordash and takeout that they could hardly take care of those of us seated in the restaurant. Our table was sticky and felt like it had not been washed down properly. The service that we received was not the best but it was because the waitresses were so stressed. I hope they'll hire some new waiters and waitresses so that everyone can be attended to as needed. read more

With this being one of the only two Asian restaurants that popped up in our search, we didn't really have a choice but to hope for the best. There's literally two types of sushi roll restaurants: one with fresh mouthwatering fish and one with everything covered in sauce. This is the latter. Per other's reviews, we ordered the wontons and sashimi salad, some headliner roll (seems to be the renamed Journey roll) and 6 pieces nigiri (salmon, tuna, hamachi) with kids order of shrimp tempura and fries. First of all, wontons were really rich with cream cheese (like cream cheese ragoons). Nearly every roll on menu seems to have cream cheese in it. The salad and roll both have the same spicy sauce all over it - heavily sauced too. The nigiri was sad and unappetizing as was the fish. I ordered a side of white rice just to eat my salad (it became a Korean sashimi fish bowl for me). My son liked the shrimp tempura and fries - which was pretty good portion for a kids meal. Overall - not our type of sushi restaurant. Let alone, no one said anything to us when we were standing at the door, apparently all server and workers behind the bar saw us. We seated ourselves and grabbed our own menus. But every customer who entered after us was told to grab their own seats. Hmm, is it because we're Asian? Oh well, at least server tried her best to be cordial. (But she couldn't tell the difference from the tuna and the salmon nigiri. Maybe she's new...) read more

Was really craving sushi and so hungry. Ordered the metal head roll and it was literally shrimp, and a tiny tiny bit of cream cheese with the crab on top, no crunchy things. Way too much rice and extremely bland. I'm pregnant and ended up eating maybe half of it and that says a lot since it's literally what I was craving. Had a DoorDash delivered to my Office next-door the Dasher dropped it off to the restaurant by accident and instead of returning it or saying anything they kept my food and ate it and then when I went next-door, they told me that I was basically out of luck that they had already eaten my food and drank my drink. Food is great but there is an awful shift "lead" here and I witnessed him verbally abuse another employee that was trying to do his job. I'm angry and sad about what I witnessed. I have been in the position of the employee that was snapped at. I don't know the name of the shift lead but he's white and has a beard. My trip to rock n roll sushi was amazing. I walked right in was seated and was served right away. I selected the guns and roses roll which was out of this world. Its the kind of item i see my self getting in a rut with it was so good. Expensive for what you get. The salad and dressing were not very good. My husband got the scorpion roll and there were only 6 pieces. If you go to any sushi bar, most specialty rolls are more than 6 pieces. I was just very disappointed all the way around and glad that there are more options for sushi in the area. read more

The food was delicious, the fried wontons are hands down the best I've ever had, I'm now officially obsessed with them. Our server McKenzie was an absolute sweetheart and did a great job. We sat outside on the heated patio and she took great care of us even though she was busy inside with a full restaurant. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Cullman area and craving Asian cuisine. If possible I'd recommend requesting McKenzie as your server, as she really does make it a point to make your dinning experience so enjoyable. read more

Decided to try the Chicken Hibachi with Fried Rice and Vegetables for Lunch - I was going to have Coca-Cola but they were having problems with machine - ok needed cut back on soda anyway. Drinks are provided in a plastic reuseable cup. Requested no Mushrooms (Allergy) and No Zucchini (Can't Stand) - Food came out in a reasonable time and was correctly cooked and hot. Appeared that Kitchen gave me extra onion and carrots and broccoli instead - surprised - just glad they let me substitute (A lot other Japanese Steakhouses won't.) Served with side of Yum Yum Sauce - just right amount of teriyaki. Fried rice with egg and veggies were good also. All classic rock music playing in background was associated with 4 large screen TV on wall broadcasting the music video associated with the songs - Nice plus - Service was good - Amy was attentive to all her tables while at same time providing me with service. Wasn't my favorite place. A chain nonetheless, we had a two different rolls of sushi, unfortunately the tasted the same. Ordered chicken and steak, which was overcooked as well. The carrots were undercooked in the mix, but the zucchini was cooked to mush. I understand it's Cullman, not much up that was as far as food talent, but come on... culinary 101...carrots take longer to breakdown. Five or more servers in the place cleaning up all around us, sweeping and asking if we needed refills...glasses were just brought. All in all, wasn't terrible but wasn't desireable either. Work on training your cooks, work on your FOH especially when there's only four people eating in the entire space. All that standing won't get your tips. read more

I'll start out with the place is nice and clean & the atmosphere is good, it's new so. We went on a Sunday night and was seated right away, we beat the crowd. Our server was Jessica & she was very nice. The wife & I order the off the hibachi menu, we both ordered combination of steak and chicken which is suppose to come with rice, vegetables, soup & salad. They were out of soup so I ordered extra rice in its place. The wife ordered extra vegetables in place of her soup. I received was my steak and chicken and double rice no vegetables & no salad. The steak & chicken was very good and the rice was not fried tasted more like steamed rice, very soft. The wife got her steak & chicken and extra vegetables no rice and no salad. We also ordered a kids chicken nuggets and fries for the child, I guess it was good she ate it. For us the food overall just was not worth the $$. I don't think we will be going back. So we came to eat to celebrate a late Valentine's Day...sat at the bar no menus or drinks for 7 minutes (I work in the restaurant industry, so this was huge for me). The guy behind the bar said that he would be right with us, finished making a drink, & went out on the floor to take an order at a table (very irritated at this point). We were fixing to walk out & a server (Lauren) asked if we had been helped, when she found out we had not she promptly got our drinks & menus. Lauren took care of us from that point & done a great job (she is the reason for 4 stars & not 3). Now let me get to the drinks & food...I had a Proud Mary (Bloody Mary)...the best I've had at a restaurant in a while. The egg rolls where the best we have ever had. The Ginger dressing salad...delicious! The Miso soup...nope. We both got the Hibachi Steak...I ordered Medium & my husband ordered Medium rare...they were both almost well done. The rice & veggies were great. All in all Lauren saved our experience...kudos to you, girl! read more

I had never heard of this chain before and getting sushi when you're traveling for work can be a crapshoot. This place was AWESOME! Amanda, my server, gave a great suggestion...the Cyndi Lauper, which was very tasty. Being an 80's high school grad, the music and decor were on point. Can't say enough good things about this place.
