I would first like to point out that this is neither a brewery nor a distillery (yet?), which is really what we were expecting from the giant sign on the building. We like to support spirits that are locally made. We were hoping for mixed drinks made from their liquor and selections of their craft beer with the option to purchase some to take home. Maybe the brewery and distillery parts of the restaurant are still "in the works". *shrug* The entrance is...difficult to find. There's a door with sheets of paper with writing all over it that's easy to spot from the parking lot and seems like it'd be where you need to go inside, but unfortunately that's not the door they want you to use and is blocked off. You have to hunt for the actual entrance. We found it during the day, but I can imagine it'd be harder at night. Maybe a lighted path would help people find where they need to go? We came in around 4:00pm. Not a soul, other than us, was in that place. We almost turned around and left because there was no staff either. They had been open since 11am so this already kind of made me uneasy. Eventually a dark headed girl talking on a cellphone stuck her head out from behind a curtain and yelled that they had customers. Honestly, I felt like we were a burden and she seemed annoyed that we were there. Really off to a great start. The only highlight of this experience was the waiter and waitress we had. The guy who came and took our order was really friendly (young guy, longer dark hair with tattoos) as was the waitress (small, blonde hair) who brought our food and cashed out our ticket. They were both very nice. The ambiance was about what you'd expect for a bar/BBQ joint in an old cotton gin. Chalkboard drink/beer menu, signs from local breweries, western decor, etc. There's an area with a speakers right by the entrance that looks like might be an area for a live band setup. After we finished eating my husband said, "I only have one word for the food: BLAND". I have to agree with him. His ribs and my pulled pork and Mac and cheese came out lukewarm and the meat was dry like it had been reheated in a microwave. Essentially everything was tasteless. Nothing had been seasoned. Even the fried okra was lacking basic salt and pepper. The best part of the meal was the fried pickle and jalapeño appetizer. That was fresh and served with two dipping sauces. This was such a disappointment. We had been wanting to try this place for months. I wanted to love it. I really did, but I just didn't. I'd like to try it again when there's a band playing and after they get the distillery and brewery going.

My friend and I stopped by last week and had a great time! It was a very busy night with a Jeep meet and live music. The bar was a little busy, but the food was hot, quick, and delicious! I will be back for another chicken sandwich soon!

The food and service was good. The atmosphere was fun and the restaurant was in a good area off the beaten path.

Stopped by the Stash House on the way to downtown Cullman. I absolutely recommend the fried pickles and jalapeños! Their burgers are also really good!

It's mainly a bar so don't expect much. I'm not bashing it by any means, but it is what it is. I could've made a better burger at the house, and saved the 11 bucks. Probably a lot better if I was drunk.

The food was amazing, prices are reasonable, and the staff are the best! We are treated like family every time we eat there.

It's sort of like a fast food restaurant in you order the food at the front counter. However, they do bring it to you. I ordered the Urban Cowboy Sandwich with the Hot Cheddar Pasta. My girlfriend got the Veggie Quesadilla with Shrimp. She had the orange roll as a side. We both had fountain drinks. The atmosphere is kind of generic but there were plenty of seats and mostly country music playing. My Urban Cowboy sandwich was a steak strip sandwich with some peppers and a tangy orange sauce. It was really tender, with no fat, and served on a toasted roll. The Hot Cheddar Pasta is a variation on Mac and Cheese but so much better. It looked like ziti-style noodles with lots of cheddar cheese. Both were excellent choices and I highly recommend. My girlfriend liked her Veggie Quesadilla with shrimp too but had to take half of it to go. The front counter folks did provide a takeout box. It is a little pricey compared to fast food restaurants but the quality is very good and worth it. The price for both our meals with drinks was around $40. I'm surprised this restaurant doesn't have more business but perhaps it's fairly new. I highly recommend and would go again when I am in the area. It has a nice atmosphere and the food is well prepared and fresh.
