Roch's is always my first stop for the freshest meat, seafood and deli items at great prices. I plan my weekly meals around what they feature each week; the pricing cannot be beat! The staff are very knowledgeable and dedicated. Many have been there 10 - 20 years! Everyone is always friendly. However, it appears that the owners do not care about the working environment... the outside of the market presents an awful impression. There is trash, debris and many times the dumpsters are not emptied. The flooring inside needs replacement. The store signage needs to be completely redone - both permanent signage (inside & out) and paper notices inside the store. Profits would increase if changes would be implemented & completed and I am sure that the employees/shoppers would appreciate it, too! read more

I love going meat shopping no here! They have such great deals and an expansive meat selection. I drive 20 miles out of my way to come here. There is always a huge difference in price between here and the Narragansett location. West Warwick is a lot cheaper!!!! This location also has the decorative butter for the holidays and my favorite seafood salad! I do miss the old produce split but it was apparent that they weren't benefiting from business. Unfortunately, a downgrade is in order, because of an issue I had today with their deli (which is one of their strengths, or at least, was). When the young man who sliced my ham put it on the scale, I noticed the slices were very thick, so I told him. He said the setting on the slicer was between 1 and 2, but to me, the thickness looked more like a 3 or 4, based on the thickness scale sign posted at the counter. He attempted to re-slice my order, but the slices came out torn up, like partially shaved or something. Frustrated, I asked him if I could get a happy medium in between the two extremes. Although the young man did not get an attitude, he did hem and haw and make excuses. I don't know if the problem was with the slicing machine, or with the operator. To save him some face, I told him the machine must have a dull blade or something. I was going to order two deli meats, but gave up. To add insult to injury, I could not find any pre-packaged deli meat in the store. I ended up going to Jerry's Market nearby, where I have never had an issue with the deli; many of Jerry's deli workers are long-timers, not kids. Jerry's also has a much larger selection of produce than Roch's, and is overall a more pleasant shopping experience. Now I am reminded why I rarely go to Roch's, even if they do have some good deals on meats. read more

Not the best grocery store by far, looks junky and dirty inside and the food is questionable - but it's closest to my house to pick up a couple things, so I figured ok let's give it a try. Today I bought a roll cookie dough and didn't notice until I got home that it expired last month. I won't be back here ever again, go ANYWHERE else, even if it's a few more minutes away. read more

Nice little store. I didn't walk around a great deal because I was in a hurry but I did find the juice boxes that I was looking for. I didn't see much in the way of produce as that area seems rather small. When I was looking for juice I noticed that there were drinks in several aisles so it was a little bit confusing. I really just went to get the juice boxes and bring them before the time ran out to give a donation. So I went in and asked someone to help me which they readily did. I went to the register and found the cashier to be very pleasant and kind. I will definitely go back just to check out what else is there. read more

I've been to rochs meat market on a few occasions on more than one occasion I've had issues with them. I bought milk one day I took home only to find out it had been days expired. I bought banana bread that literally did not have the consistency of bread but of gelatin. And I've continued to go to Rochs to hope this was a one time event unfortunately it is not that's just how it's made. On more than one occasion I've bought their ready made meals today I bought sausage and peppers from them absolutely no flavor literally tasted like nothing. It's odd because they are within close distance and I want to keep giving them chances but they disappoint me almost half the time! read more

Nice little local market. Prices are reasonable, but its no frills. About 1/5 the size of a normal market. Staff was friendly. Produce department is in a separate store next door. Nice to go to for a change of pace if you're sick of Shaws, Daves, and Stoppy. read more

This place is very convient and has a wide variety of options. Staff/ Cashiers are nice and food is good. Floors are bit dirty though.

I used to frequent Roch's Market for their good meat prices on strip steaks and rib eyes. Recently I purchased six strip steaks. When we wanted to enjoy them at our dinner we found them to be tough and very chewy and ate what we could and tossed the rest. When Roch's ran another sale on strip steaks ($5.99/lb.) I went back but was only going to buy three. While there I asked to speak to the Meat Manager. When he came out I explained to him about the previous six. He told me this was impossible because they buy their meats from one supplier/one box. He also told me they never have complaints about their meats. I told him I was going to buy the three and keep the receipt with the idea that if these three were tough and chewy I would bring back the uneaten portions for a refund. The "Meat Manager" told him he could not authorize a refund and that the owner was the only one who could. I asked him to write down the owner name and store number and he told me he could not. I again asked him and he and again declined stating that the cashier could. Yes the cashier probably could but I was not asking the cashier but asking the "Meat Manager". I told him this was terrible customer service and when I turned to walk away he told me "You don't have to shop here". It's terrible that when you go into Roch's with a complaint you are told you can shop someplace else as a remedy. J.S. read more

The products here are great the prices not so much. However I can't complain with the quality. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The smells rather weird but I'll take that as a meat shop kind of smell. The cashiers however were all people who picked on me in high school and have however posted about me on social media being there and have made comments about my weight and how I used wic before. What a nice little grocery store are they pretty much have everything beautiful selection of meats and several people behind the counter to help you may even have homemade food yum yum I enjoy going there all the time and they usually run weekly specials on really good cuts of meat nice dog to have around thank you roch's keep up the great work read more

I come to Roch's Market if can't find what I need at target, stop and shop, walmart, dave's. Roch's and jerry's is the only stores I know that sell Reese penutbutter and also have good deals on some of the weekly ads. They also deli deals they advertise outside which is great. They also have a separate produce section opposite the market. read more

I love this place...I live in North Kingstown and regularly travel to this market in West Warwick for their great meat and deli...The other reviewer here that praised their meat and deli prices is spot on. In comparison to the immense screw job that Boer's Head costs this place is like something out of decades past with their prices. With most of the big markets now under the monopoly of Boer's Head, this place has become my go to place for meat and deli...Not only are the prices wonderful, but the quality of the meats and deli are just as good as their prices. I have had Boer's Head meat and cheese in the past and been outraged at the price and bullshit they shovel as to it being superior. They don't make a thing that Roch's market doesn't sell for many times less than half price that is just as good. I have had it all here, salami, turkey breast, chicken, cheeses, and even the bologna that is the best I ever had...Even when you go there with no sale in mind you still do very well with their regular prices..As for the meats, I have never had the pleasure of so much beef, roasts, chicken in my house since finding this place and their prices...I recently purchased some excellent strip steak for $5 a pound where Stop and Shop is getting $10.99 for their cheapest cuts for the same thing. I really stock up when I go there and make the trip worth it. As for the rest of the market, I try to pick up some other things while there in hopes of keeping them open at a time when places like this are being squeezed out. Their regular grocery prices are not as good as their meats and deli, but neither is anything out of sight either...If you're one of those snobs that judges a market by its color, worn out floors, or needing a little paint here and there, do us all a favor and stick to getting screwed at Dave's or some other big market...Save this place for folks like me that couldn't give a shit about that, and that work hard for their money and eat very well at the best prices and quality around... read more

The service at the deli was horrible. The inside of glass case with the meats looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. Flies flying around. My 3 year old had to use the bathroom but they don't let customers use it. A supermarket with no bathroom for its customers?!? Just as well, it's probably just as disgusting as the store ...if that's possible. I'll stick with Daves from now on!!! read more
