Loved our experience. Our last car buying experience left us a bit nervous to do it again. I'm glad we found Rochester Mazda.

After paying $7000 for the car and agreeing to pay the remaining $1000by March 31, I have been dealing with ongoing issues since day one. The check engine light was on the very first day I got the vehicle. When I brought it back on the second day, instead of properly addressing the problem, I was told not to come back with another issue. Mind you this was only the second day after purchase. A vehicle should not have a check engine light or mechanical problems immediately after being sold, especially when it was described as in good condition. They claimed the issue was fixed, but the same problem came back shortly after. What's even more concerning is that when I later tried to address and made Google reviews , I was threatened over the phone and told they still 'own the car.' This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Buyers, please be careful and do your research before purchasing from them.

It was so nauseating to the point where we were just finding reasons to stand outside from the headache. An individual walks out with a battery starter and brings back the car we had asked to see. The vehicle had little things wrong with it. The little things like a corroded rear view mirror and rusted out rims. But this confused me, as they were simple things that could've been an easy fix.. why wouldn't they have at least done that? The dashboard began to have a Master Warning light randomly after set on for about a minute. The guy then told us that it was because the doors were open and the engine was on.. didn't seem legit. When I tried to ask more general questions like if there was any work done on the vehicle since being in their care, he shrugged me off saying he didn't speak English well. He also didn't seem like he wanted to go for a test drive. Once going back in to speak to the main man, the first thing he did was slap a note with the total amount of the vehicle and the cost of the fees. Not even a hello, not a how are you, not even confirming the car. Once we told him that we actually wanted to look at the other vehicles and named off the two we also wanted to see, he shrugged his shoulders and told us "making my staff go look for it, just too much" and told us to go look for it ourselves and let him know which ones. Even though, we could name which models and what cars we wanted to see. After a second or two of walking around, we turned around and got into our car and left. After arriving home, we looked over the reviews and realized we made a good choice today by not doing business with these people.

The first time, they showed us a lease offer with an EV credit and a high residual value. Once we went in, they told us there was no EV credit and lowered the residual value of the car below what they originally showed us. The second time, they gave us an offer that included an employer rebate and their "lowest" possible APR with BMW Financial. We were pressured to sign an agreement before confirming that the rebate existed. We walked out on the offer and found out that the rebate did not exist, and there was a much lower APR offered by BMW that we qualified for. The fact this happened twice on separate occasions makes us wary of doing business with any Luther owned dealerships, like Park Place. We would advise against buying from them if you are looking for a new vehicle.

Sent them all the information they needed. Drove 1.5 hours thru construction traffic on Tuesday to pick up car and had to WAIT FOR 4 HOURS on 98 degree day to take possession... AND I WAS PAYING CASH. Sales guy, Bayran, was okay but their finance manager, Demetrius, was a total joke. He even tried to charge me a $1000 more than we had agreed to. In contrast, I bought a car recently from an Audi dealership in Miami and I was in and out in 1 hour. Would have been quicker but waiting on new car insurance.

Since my bank was already closed at that time, the finance manager assured me that I could bring the check the following day. The next day, August 28, I went to my bank, obtained the check, and returned at 2 pm to complete the purchase. To my surprise, the dealership had already sold the vehicle without notifying me. Selling a car under these circumstances shows a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. I will not be doing business with this dealership again, and I strongly advise others to be cautious.

But the customer service after purchasing this vehicle has been horrendous. 2 weeks after purchasing I found water in the taillights. They fixed this issue by replacing the outside taillights, when I asked for the inside ones to be replaced as well since they had just as much water in them they never did. Then a piece of chrome trim was falling off that I didn't notice, they fixed it (without asking), then I had a terrible wind noise from the driver door, they bent the chrome in multiple places on the edge of the door leaving noticeable creases, and I am still having this wind noise. Now since the day I bought this THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLAR car, literally on the test drive there was some sort of rattling sound that I thought was an unbalanced tire, as it didn't make the sound again for about a week after purchase. I've been bringing this car in MULTIPLE TIMES PER MONTH, and EVERY TIME I come in there to try and figure out this issue I get the run around. "It could be a hood latch" "it could be a hood hinges" "every other car makes the same sound" "bring it to our certified body shop, we can't diagnose it" "bring it to a different dealership we can't figure out the issue"(after they looked at it for quite literally 20 minutes) "this sound is normal on ford escapes" NO ITS NOT!!!!! THIS CAR DOES NOT FEEL SAFE TO DRIVE ABOVE 60 MPH, IT SOUNDS LIKE AN AIRPLANE!!! I PURCHASED THIS CAR CERTIFIED PRE OWNED WITH THE SUPPOSED 170 POINT INSPECTION AND WARRANTY AND 100 PERCENT CLEAN TITLE WITH 14000 MILES!! How did I catch all of this within the first 3 weeks of owning it If there was a 170 point inspection done?? 5 months later and this car feels like it's going to fall apart at 60 miles per hour and above and they won't do a single thing about it. I've called MULTIPLE TIMES in the last 2 weeks and left messages, DURING BUSINESS HOURS, before 10 am, and have not received a call back. They said a month and a half ago they were ordering parts to fix this issue and they would be in within a week. None of these parts are causes of this KNOWN issue with this vehicle. And NONE of these parts have showed up yet, and I have no word on when these parts will be in. I have sent them multiple technical service bulletins and every time I send them they seem to be ignored and I'm always told they "can't find the technical service bulletin" when I send them full page documents with reference numbers, dates, and any other information they need to know, just because I purchased a car from a dealership with a warranty doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about, and I suggest if you want to keep a customers business, then you take their concerns seriously. My business will be taken elsewhere SOMETHING ISNT RIGHT, if I'M CATCHING ALL OF THESE ISSUES WITHIN DAYS OF PURCHASE, excellent sales experience, would not recommend coming here for anything else.

Julio greeted us right away and from start to finish was very nice and genuine. We were given a few options and wanted a few weeks to really decide what we wanted to purchase. Amazingly we were never harassed, unlike other dealerships. I told Julio I would be in touch and he respected that. I called him a few weeks later wanting to schedule an appointment and he remembered us right away. Luckily, they actually had an amazing outback that just came on the lot with everything and then some. Also, when we went to see the finance guy, which is usually the worst part of car buying, he made it as painless as possible and didn't harass us to buy a warranty as much as other dealerships in town. We felt like we were given a very fair price for the outback and have been extremely happy with the vehicle -- side note this vehicle performs incredibly well in the snow!!! I would definitely recommend Subaru of Rochester to all and especially Julio who took the time to listen and respect his customers.

While I was at work Ricky Huff sent me an email saying that both cam carriers were leaking ( which the Subaru dealership would charge $5000 to fix it!) I asked him what were the Cam Carrier's and what does it mean they're leaking? Well he told me that Cam Carriers were part of the Subaru engines There's a seal between the cam holder and the head. That seal is what's leaking. Well, I brought my Subaru in for a second opinion, at another auto repair place, and they said that it was NOT leaking at all instead my valve gasket needed to be replaced and it would cost me 1/4 of the $5000. The Subaru Dealership LIED to me! I am writing this so that if you are going to the Subaru dealership that you'll be informed as to what the Subaru Dealership stands for.
