If I could give them 0 stars, it most definitely would be a 0 start review. I took my car in for an…read moreoil change on 11/12. For weeks after, I was smelling burning oil. I took my vehicle to a local mechanic, and he said the cap wasn't thread correctly, so oil had been spewing out onto my engine, thus causing the burning smell. After finding this out, I took my car back to Valvoline to explain what happened. They said they would 'look on their cameras' to see what happened. Two days later (on a Friday) I got a call and they said they reviewed the cameras and the cap was put on tight, and they were taking 0 responsibility. After stressing that nobody had touched the car after the oil change, they said they would bring it the manager, and he would call me Monday. I didn't receive a follow up call until Saturday, and it was from an assistant manager. They said the manager reviewed the footage and isn't taking any responsibility. I argued on the phone for quite some time, before being told they weren't going to do anything and it was final. I asked to speak to the manager, and they said the manager wasn't there and he had tried calling me on Monday. I never received a phone call or voicemail from the Manager. I spoke with a dealership about getting my engine cleaned and they said it will cost around $200, assuming it only takes them an hour. I paid $130 for the oil change. As I see it, I'm essentially out $330 because of a mistake they won't own up to. After reading other reviews on here, it's clear that this establishment never takes ownership for their mistakes. There is another instant oil change place that opened up across the street from them (Take 5 Instant Oil Change). You would think with direct competition now, they would care for their customers more. If you value your money, time, and vehicle, go somewhere else for an oil change.

They always treated us nice and their service was spot on. They knew our names and were great people. I am not sure what happened, but after their expansion at the Civic Center Street expansion, things changed. You became a number and most of the previous front desk people were gone. They didn't become rude or unfriendly, they just didn't seem to care as much, at least that was my perception. On one of my appointments one of their employees, told me that that I had a problem with one of my front hydraulics or breaks? I just had my car serviced at the dealership and I told him, that I wanted to bring it back first, before any more work was done. The dealership confirmed that there was nothing wrong and I drove the car as normal without any issues. We all make mistakes, so I wasn't to concerned about it. I needed to have my winter tires put on, which are already on rims. In the past it was done without wait or hesitation. Now I am being told that I had to wait a week. Today my front tire went flat and I stopped by to have it fixed. I was told they can't fix it until next week? I don't know what happened since the expansion, maybe they got to busy and too big.
