There was also trash by the elevator that was outside the trashcan and ants were crawling on the floor. On the second floor there was a large trash bag that was near the elevator for days. We alerted the front desk staff multiple days. They do not clean your room daily for our comfort and their profit. When asked if somebody could remove dirty wet towels from the room, they said place them in the hall when I asked for new clean towels, we had to hand carry them up to our room. I asked if our trash could be removed and they wanted to give me a trash bag and told me to do it myself. Maybe for my convenience I should only pay every other day to stay in the room. The staff at the front desk were not helpful and disinterested. When my room was cleaned on the day they designated to clean ;my bed was not made and the front desk person asked what day did I arrive? They said housekeeping was still there and they would send somebody to clean the room. The lights by the bed did not work. They did not clean the shower or the on my designated day of cleaning. My concern also was for a gentleman who was a bilateral amputee a wheelchair and how he was going to navigate down the hallway with piles of dirty towels on the floor and bags of trash. This is a hazard. This is the way this hotel is saving money. I paid a high price to stay there and is too generous. Do not stay at this hotel go camping instead you might even bring your own toilet brush.

The washing machine (there is only one washer and dryer for all guests) broke during my stay- but was fixed by the next day. On a weekend. I have never seen a hotel fix something so promptly. Buffet breakfast is actually edible. Fruit is fresh. Proteins aren't microwaved rubber - pretty decent! Management will let you have milk/yogurt out of the breakfast fridge after hours if you ask. This sounds like a small thing but you wouldn't believe how many hotels guard it like sacred treasure. There is an exercise room and a pool, tho I didn't use either. There is also a dedicated smoking area with comfortable seats, which is a kind thought. All in all I was pleasantly surprised.

The bacon was precooked and under cooked. No flavor. The sausage is definitely a better option when available during breakfast. Beds were comfortable. TV was smaller than I have expected recently and I don't recall them having the option of connecting Netflix or any other streaming services which is nice, relying on what is on cable at that particular moment is a drag and I don't know how we did it for so long. Towels were plentiful. Shower was nice. Multiple mirrors arranged in just a way that your partner can watch you on the toilet from the bed if you leave the door open, as we discovered. My room was a large King suite with plenty of floor space, a refrigerator, coffee station, a separate sink and additional storage space. The wifi is a bit slow for my liking, but I was able to surf, check emails and do other general tasks. There is a premium Wi-Fi offer for higher-tiered members or for a daily fee. Breakfast is buffet-style with a choice of hot and cold offerings as well as cereals, breads, eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit and other items. There is a couch with two side chairs that only face the TV which is really high and could cause a stiff neck. No place to put your coffee/cookies as the only surface is rounded and made of faux leather with a big ornate bowl in the middle of it. However, on check out I asked the front desk if sitting in the breakfast area is OK in the evenings and she said, "Absolutely!"
