Cannoli

I've eaten at a lot of 5 star restaurants across America and Europe. This one ranks with the best. The atmosphere is relaxing. Everything is new and solid. There is nothing cheap or duplicated. Lighting, sound, entry, bar and kitchen were well planned. No TV, but light piano music accentuated the ambiance. Although my martini was not originally served correctly, the staff corrected it without a problem. My wife's lemon drop was perfect. The silverware and dinnerware are highly polished and without blemish or water stains. The wine and water glasses are the same as those found in other 5 star restaurants. Our waitress, Marty, was most pleasant. My wife ordered a glass of Parducci Merlot and I a glass of Rickshaw Sauvignon Blanc. Both were smooth. They complemented well our Chicken Parmesan and Chilea Sea Bass. Her spaghetti with marinara and my risotto were cooked to perfection, as were the broccoli we both ordered. The meal was rounded out by a side salad and dinner rolls. The homemade balsamic dressing was excellent. Because it was my birthday, we were treated to a complimentary cannoli. It was delicious. We're glad that Willow's is an upscale option for area residents and visitors. If you are looking for a quiet dinner spot, Willow's is it. We'll return.

When the Willows reopened with major upgrades we had to try it out! Have been a few times for dinner and also had Mother's Day Brunch here. The food is really great and the chefs are highly trained. The staff is very knowledgeable of the menu. Highly recommend.

Chicken Parmesan

We are so happy we decided to come back for dinner!! We toured the venue with Tracy for our wedding and the entire place was absolutely stunning!! She was so sweet and very knowledgeable and was willing to work with us on whatever we needed to make us feel comfortable choosing this venue for our wedding. The motel rooms are fresh and beautiful. The ballrooms are breathtaking and the chandeliers along with the staircases stole the show. We were offered a free appetizer for dinner so we decided to come back later and try the food. We could not stop saying how delicious everything was. We ordered a crabcake and broccoli soup for appetizers and Jo brought us out the caprese tomatoes and mozzarella as a surprise since we were undecided!! BEST broccoli soup we've ever had. For entrees we got the chicken Parmesan and it looked like it could feed a family of 4 it was so big... and absolutely delicious, and the gnocchi which was so creamy I couldn't put my fork down.

Very disappointed in the Mothers Day brunch! Out of everything poorly managed and food was less than satisfactory especially for $44/person

As the mother of the groom, it appears I was left out of some pertinent information and with this being said, I will send my kudos to the event planners at the station, thank you for your smile, support, quick thinking, and hard work! They had my back and didn't even miss a beat! Nor did it matter if it was me, or anyone else on site, they handling things like a well-oiled machine. I can't be more pleased with the turn out and the follow up. Even after the event Leanne took care of me, and that meant the world to me. Not to mention, the place is beautiful, starting with the environment, the nostalgia the place exuded and the mystery the place as a whole held right down to the very near live train going by. Make sure you tell your guests to take a walk down memory lane, and explore the restored historic site, it is just exquisite. Even with the bumps that the guests nearly noticed, we all had a marvelous time. Thank you again!

I couldn't have asked for a better day and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing team that they have there. If you're planning an event in beaver county I definitely recommend checking them out!!

The service was amazing, but it is a long process. Roughly 2 hours for drinks apps and mains. The food was very good. The steaks taste was good, but for a $75 Delmonico, the expectations were just a little higher. The mashed potatoes and 1000 layer potato were the star of the show. Very buttery very good. The seafood pasta was good and the seafood was fresh and tender. The oysters were good. East and west. The homemade hot sauce was amazing. All in all it was a pretty good experience. The drinks. Smokes old fashioned was very good. The manhattan was also very good. The strawberry spritzer did not get consumed. We didn't like it.

In the end, the sum total…read moreexperience was a solid 4 - good food, great aesthetic/vibe, great server, but the lack of accommodation/hospitality, some of the food, the price point on some of the food were drawbacks. One negative happened *before* we arrived. This special evening was to celebrate the 80th birthday of one of my sisters-in-law. We called to arrange a special dessert plate, etc, in advance, but the young woman who answered instantly told me no and said we could order a dessert and they would put a candle on it. I asked if we could choose a few desserts in advance and have them arranged on a platter with "Happy Birthday" written on it in some way, but again this woman said, "No, we really don't do that." Womp womp. Could've been an easy win. She actually encouraged me to bring an outside dessert and they would put a candle on that. She could've suggested a bottle of champagne or glasses of champagne being delivered to the table in advance, but no. Disappointing to say the least, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. Moving on... When you roll up to this location up a winding road, you get how special/unique Hyeholde is. The Tudor-influence is charming, as is the thoughtful gardening & its romantic evening uplighting. A valet pops out immediately to whisk away your car. (One sis-in-law arrived before they opened & was alarmed at no handicapped parking, but this is clearly why: the valet.) Another negative happened before we entered the restaurant -- the valet informed us that our pretty, small birthday balloon would not be allowed inside. The restaurant door opened as we started toward it - the owner & exec chef (we would learn later) welcoming us. Nice touch. One snag: both my sis-in-laws have some challenges walking/climbing stairs; no one asked the SIL who made her own birthday reservation (at her insistence!) about this. So, the 2 were a bit surprised when told that we would be headed upstairs to dine. While our host seemed somewhat willing to change up our location, there was a handrail up the stairs, so both SIL's opted for the climb. ‍ Our server, Ryan, was great - enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and cheerful throughout. The food: They had just changed to their spring menu, but three of us opted for the creamy mushroom soup, a winter menu holdover. While it was mushroomy and flavorful, I really do prefer my mushroom soup to have a splash of sherry. The artisanal greens with honey pear dressing was fresh and light. We all agreed that the dressing was excellent & the greens crisp & flavorful. (Slight drawback: It's fairly small & very simple; $14 is a bit much for this). The bread plate that came with our appetizers was good. One of my SIL's is a master baker, and she positively sang the praises of the brioche rolls. There's one for each in the party. Drawback: We wanted more and were happy to pay, but Ryan told us that wasn't possible. They only make enough for each person to have one each night. The homemade apple butter was excellent. Star appetizer: Smoked olives (!!!) - it sounds crazy, but all 4 of us could not get enough of these. The Applewood smoked treasures were to die for, especially the massive Cerignola olives. WOAH. The truffle mushroom pasta with chestnut cream was also positively standout. Huge, meaty mushrooms were slathered in a rich, flavorful cream with what seemed like campanelle-type pasta - YUM! Ryan recommended the tuna crudo app/small plate - but we just didn't have room. Next time... Main courses: birthday girl & I ordered the seafood tagliatelle which was excellent. The seafood - a blend of shrimp & scallops - was nestled in a saffron beurre blanc with a hugely flavorful blend of fennel, sun-dried tomatoes, & yummy black garlic. Hubs & other SIL got the Delmonico. Neither would recommend it. It was cooked perfectly but was a bit salty, not terribly juicy, and at ***$75**** - I can confidently say (after tasting a piece) that it was not worth it. The bordelaise sauce was nice, but the multi-layered mille-feuille potato creation - while definitely impressive - was too salty, according to the SIL who ordered it. Wine - we brought our own (bday girl had been saving 2 v special bottles) & paid their $40 corkage fee. Dessert time! Birthday SIL got the Ryan-recommended NY Cheesecake (his fave). First - this isn't NY cheesecake! BUT - it is quite good -- creamy, flavorful with a nice, thin, crunchy Graham cracker crust, and a spoonful of succulent preserved cherries. Ryan even magically stuck a little candle to the plate for our celebration. The standout fave, though, was the special carrot cake -- a creative version with a yummy, coconutty/pineapply ice cream colored with carrot juice and garnished with a crunchy, thin sliver of dried parsnip and carrot. Really good! My other SIL got the passionfruit pavlova and thought it was good (I don't do meringue - so I didn't try it).

Per hotel staff the hotel opened in 2019 so really new. The furniture in the lobby and room is modern. They have a restaurant in the hotel also. We checked in at 12 and our room of choice on our floor of choice was available. Check in was quick and easy. I also was able to use my Hilton app for the digital key which was helpful b/c we left the key in the room on accident as soon as we walked out. 6th floor hallway was very airy and fresh. The King Room w/ Sofa bed was very spacious. Large bathroom with walk in shower, no tub! Just how we like it. Long vanity in the bathroom and wide mirror. Also full length mirror in the room. Our room looked out to some type of mill and one of the rivers but at night it looked like a view of a city with all the pretty lights but it really was just the factory. Bed was comfortable to Hilton standards and there was more than enough outlets and USB ports available for our electronics. Only con was that housekeeping must have forgotten to grab the trash as there were used q-tips in the bathroom bin. All and all I would definitely stay here again if need be!
