Nothing really stood out but everything was very good and prepared as specified. The French toast on a slice of Mancini's bread (a local delicacy) was my favorite. The pancakes were a little hard to cut through and chewy, but not terrible. Our server was very prompt. She followed up after our food was brought out, and consistently refilled our drinks throughout the night. Despite that it was a busy Saturday morning, our food came out much quicker than I expected. The Imperial Platter was $12! That is an amazing deal. I feel most diners are starting to increase their prices on breakfast foods. It was refreshing to find a place that has not done that. It was delicious with just enough sweetness. Only reason not a 5 star was there was so much extra strawberry "juice", it made the French toast soggy. Although, I fully expected there to be a wait on a nice weekend morning. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the Power Play omelette with mushrooms added and my wife got the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. The latter appeared to be a crowd favorite, since everyone around us was also enjoying a breakfast sandwich. The Power Play was quite possibly the best omelette that I have ever had. Now that could have been my rumbling stomach talking, but I don't think it is. This thing is huge, tasty, and stuffed with goodness. I ended up taking half of it home due to its heartiness. The only reason that I'm rating this 4-star is because of the price. Everything was $2-3 more than I think it should be, but I'm probably gonna pay it again soon just to verify the status of this omelette.

Not surprisingly, when we entered it was packed. The small dining area had many tables packed in and there was also seating at the counter. We grabbed the last two seat at the counter and were promptly greeted by the friendly and accommodating staff. You could tell there were a bunch of regulars here. Servers knew their names and their orders (or at least their drinks). If this was closer to where I lived, I could totally see it as a place we would frequent. They have a menu that features both breakfast and lunch (but it was pretty clear where they shine is breakfast items). They have all the staples. Pancakes, eggs, omelets. But they also have creative options like scramble bowls. In addition to their menu, they also have a specials board. I opted to order the Polish scramble that had eggs, pierogi, onions, cheese and polish sausage. It was delicious! My daughter ordered a pancake and an omelet. Portions were large, service was fairly quick (especially considering how busy they were) and most importantly, the food was delicious. If you are in the area (or even if you like making trips to check out wonderful family owned places) this one is definitely worth a visit!
