This unsuspecting honey hole was a jack pot for me. You would not expect the inside to look as cool or big as the sign suggests. DO NOT underestimate Rochell's. It is not cheap, but worth it. I have driven by this store countless times and always thought it looked adorable. I am an average sized woman... I regularly shop at local stores and almost always can find a large or XL that fits my body type. Upon walking into this store and browsing I realized that Rochelle's DOES NOT carry sizes for the average large or plus size woman. I have NEVER had this happen before. I asked one the the employees if they even carried sizes other than small or medium and she kind of shrugged me off and said maybe I could find a few large sizes in the back. I felt that because of my size this store did not want me as a customer and their clothing sizes directly reflects this opinion. I believe this is a gross oversight on behalf of management and should be addressed and corrected for future customers. read more

I'm an avid shopper and don't live in the area. So I did a bunch googling and Yelping to try and find actual clothing stores in the area. When walking in we were greeted but that was about it and wouldn't been a big deal until we noticed that every other customer was talked to and shown clothing that they thought they'd be interested in. I was looking for mumu and only found two dresses in the entire store and it was on sale rack and maybe I missed the section but I also wasn't really helped beyond a "fitting room is over there". Also the store owners or workers did not wear masks and we were the only customers who had them on. So that was a little concerning. No hand sanitizer or cleaning going on after I used the fitting room. read more

My absolute favorite place to shop in the world! I've been coming for 10 years and the clothes never disappoint. They've always got new cute brands along with my old favs like free people, show me your mumu, and hard tail. But seriously no matter what your style is you'll find something here! Loved this place! We drove by it on the way to breakfast and made a point to stop in on the way back to where we were staying and I'm glad we did! The owner was so kind and helpful when shopping and you could tell she really cares about pleasing her patrons. I picked out a cute gold elephant necklace with a tassel and was struggling to decide on the array of colors they had displayed and she grabbed one out of the window display just to make sure I saw it and I loved it and ended up buying it! I love sales people that are helpful without being pushy and she was just that. I will definitely be stopping in next visit to St.Augustine or maybe even ordering online for a couple of things I had my eye on! read more

When I was a kid it was the sign shop, and trust me, it wasn't so funky and cool that way! All kidding aside, the owner has lived in St. Aug for quite a while and she and her husband provide great service and style at all price ranges. Rochelle's is easy to find. Let me just say, Wow, this place rocks! I drove by it many times on my way downtown before finally stopping in one afternoon. The funky sign and the carousel horse outside the door always caught my attention. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Would I find clothes for the beach or beautiful dresses? To my surprise, I found a stylish and funky selection of upscale clothing fit for the beach, a night out on the town and more. The owner was super nice and greeted me with a kind of warmth and hospitality that is rare these days! I loved the selection of jewelry and was thrilled to see some wonderful pieces by local designers. Apparently, the boutique has a devoted following. Another customer told me that she started shopping at Rochelle's twenty years ago when she was a teenager and now she and her daughter both shop there.
