A number of the mom and pop stores are greatly feeling the burn. The Coronavirus Outbreak could be a serious reason this store in Vienna is closing after...I have no idea how many years this place has been around.   One of the owners (who's name might be Joseph) said the rugs are all hand made. These are not cheap rugs. Just like the Joker's suits.   One of the paintings I saw was $5000 dallors.  This is to high for me, but I could picture this photo in my house for a day.   I would rather have the four famous rock group members who don't  play or sing music on my wall.  If your wondering who that is, think Mount Rushmore. Still if I ever need a rug, I might keep a place like this in mind...maybe.  Still, Joseph is a cool dude.

The selection is absolutely massive and from what I could tell the quality is great. There are stacks of rugs in every size imaginable 50-100 deep, and yet when we got halfway through one of the piles and remarked that this rug might work, he knew the country of origin and history of the rug. Seriously impressive when there are probably THOUSANDS of rugs in here. While the quality of the rugs looked great, the prices weren't as low as I'd have hoped for the "75% off" advertised in the window. Most pieces don't have prices listed on them so there's no way to compare the original price with the discount. For a 9x12 rug he didn't mention any under $3,000... while the rugs seemed of good quality, I'm not convinced the original price was $12,000 for wool rugs. I was frankly hoping the price would be half of what was quoted. I'll still give them 5 stars because if you can afford it, the quality does seem good and staff super nice. He even urged us to take it home for a couple of days and then just pay him if we liked it. Clearly wants to ensure all parties are happy.

The experience was nothing short of a complete failure, and I feel compelled to share my frustration to help others make informed decisions. First, I entrusted my valuable rug to this people with the expectation that their professional cleaning service would restore it to its former glory. They called to upsell a more deeper cleaning?? and said that the stain was 90% removed, however they can removed it completely for $380 more, I said no because I explained the situation and they said they will take care of it. Nevertheless , when I received my rug back, it looked no different than when I dropped it off. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it was dirtier after their supposed cleaning. they Scheduled the pick up and came after that time agreed, a neighbor caused an stain that I thought it was their dog, but they said it was their drink!! who knows, I have left the rug outside my office for them to pick it up, but I called first to let them know what happened and they said they will take care of it, they did not!!. To make matters worse, the customer service was atrocious. When I reached out to express my dissatisfaction, they were dismissive and unresponsive of my complain even though I sent a before and after picture. It's clear that they do not value their customers' concerns or take responsibility for their subpar work. I also noticed a lack of attention to detail in their handling of my rug. It was returned in a hasty, crumpled state, which is inexcusable for a professional cleaning service. In summary, my experience with Hadeed Carpet was a complete letdown. Their inability to deliver on their promises, coupled with their dismissive customer service and lack of professionalism, leaves me with no choice but to advise against using their services. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a rug cleaning service that actually delivers on their claims.

His wide variety of rugs makes choosing a bit difficult, but Mr Hamad knows so much about each one. I have come to realize that one of the most important aspects of buying a rug is the relationship between the buyer and the seller. It must be one of trust because ,let's face it, how much does an ordinary person know about Persian rugs? In working with Persico Rugs, we know what we are investing in, thanks to the honesty and transparency of the owner.

Wow. Where to start:…read more A coworker and I were in the Mosaic district this past Sunday afternoon, grabbing some lunch and relaxing after getting of work at a fitness studio VERY close to this Timothy Paul location. I consider Mosaic to be my neighborhood, as I live a stone's throw away and spend a great deal of time working/eating/shopping here. While waiting on another coworker of ours next door, we decided to pop into Timothy Paul and check it out. I had previously been to this store's location in the District of Columbia, because it is also ironically, very close to our DC fitness studio location. I have noticed in the past there are beautiful succulents towards the front of the store and was excited that we would be able to go in and take a look. We walked in around 2:30pm and there were at most, 3 customers inside. We were immediately greeted by a pleasant woman who appeared to be responsible for tending to the plants & flowers - it also appeared as though the two businesses are run independently of one another but share the same retail space. I asked her a few questions about the succulents because I had never seen any so large and beautiful. She answered my questions and let me know if I needed any assistance, she would be happy to provide it. Upon walking further back into the store, we noticed a woman behind the register who upon acknowledging us, looked as though she thought we may be lost.....off-putting, but not a deal breaker. I realize people are human beings and everyone is entitled to have a crappy day. We took a few moments apart to look at things that interested us and a couple minutes later met towards the middle of the store. There was a really beautiful song playing through the speakers and neither one of us had brought our phones over to be able to Shazam it. Again, I am a fitness instructor....my eyes and ears are always on the lookout for new music that I can incorporate into my classes. My coworker and I decided to sit down on one of the many chairs/couches they have out on the floor, so that I could listen to the lyrics for a moment and maybe memorize a few lines to look the song up when I got home. We had been sitting down for no more than 30 seconds when I noticed the dark haired woman behind the register looking at us as if we could not sit down.....on a couch....in a store that sells furniture. At no point did either of us notice any signs that requested patrons not sit on the furniture. Another 30 seconds or so goes by and the woman comes from behind the counter towards us and says "Um can I help you with something?". I replied that we were just taking a look around and waiting on a friend next door. The tone of her voice and look on her face of pure annoyance and superiority, left me befuddled. The woman had literally just rolled her eyes as she stood there. We had done absolutely nothing wrong. I am in constant interaction with patrons of Mosaic and clients at our fitness studio on a DAILY basis. The coworker with me at the time, is a blogger; writing for a respected magazine in the northern Virginia area. So, at nearly 28 years old, I truly do not think I have ever encountered someone working in retail that was so careless with their prejudice. Regardless of anyone's assumptions (based on my appearance i presume?), I work very hard to afford myself the freedom to purchase great quality items at a place such as Timothy Paul. My coworker and I turned to look at one another in almost disbelief and I said to her "Should we just leave?", to which she agreed as we made our way to the exit. Correct me if I am wrong, but as an employee working in retail, is it not your job to treat each and every patron with common courtesy respect? Completely unacceptable behavior and quite disappointing that ANY business would allow a person with such a lack of couth to represent them.

The staff was really patient and I loved the stories the owner could share about where he purchased each rug while I pondered. In some cases when something was almost right but not quite there, he might have another custom solution which was a cool offering as well. The style is more modern or eclectic rather than traditional. It's not cheap stuff, but the quality is something that'll sit in your home for the next 20 years with proper care.
