The staff is so incredibly kind, the sangria was the best that I've EVER had, seriously I don't remember what she told me they put in it but between three of us we drank two large pitchers. The food is incredibly outstanding, there's a vegetarian menu AND a regular menu. I was so blown away by everything we went back TWICE in the four days we spent. My friends that ate off the regular menu were just as impressed with their food. Do yourself a favor and go to Andino and meet the wonderful people that run this place because their story is inspiring and I can't express enough how elated we were after this meal. If I could give fifty stars I would.

A lot of tourists came in, which was bound to happen since it is right in the center, but this place is known for the fresh, locally grown ingredients especially the artichokes that draws in locals as well so we wanted to check it out! The waiter was friendly and helped us decide what to order. We got the two most popular artichoke tapas: confitadas and montillana. We preferred the confitadas but both were delicious! We also ordered the ensalada malagueña (typical of Málaga) which is a potato salad with oranges and olives, it was very good and tasted very fresh! The waiter also convinced us to go for dessert--the leche frita (fried condensed milk) with ice cream on top! The fried milk was interesting and not sickly sweet, but I probably could have gone without it. The ice cream tasted like hazelnut and I actually enjoyed that quite a bit! Overall a great place with tasty food!

Service friendly and attentive. Food very nice. They are open throughout the day turning more into a bar in the evening it seems. Only questionable part of the experience was their choice of Sunday morning tunes which seemed to be taken from the 1980's power ballad back catalogue! Nice spot to while away a very rainy Sunday morning with the papers on the Costa del Sol. Definitely worth checking out.

Pinchito de Cordero (grilled lamb cubes) so tender and without the gamey. Pulpo Frito (fried octopus)-first time having it and enjoyed it. De Buey (their mini burger)-cooked medium rare and leaves you wanting a few more. 2nd visit-Busanos (snails-not escargot), -Ostras (Oysters), -Flamenquin Cordobes (deep fried ham/cheese in a roll-delicious), -Lomo en Manteca (pork loin in lard mini sandwich), -Pinchito de longanizo (sausage skewer) a little spicy, nice snap and salty, -Sombretito de Cabra (fried goat cheese with honey) on the bottom, slice of eggplant and tomato, -Sardines ahumadas (smoked sardines) with tomato on bottom-salty oily-delicious, -Cazuelita de christorra de Arbizu-salty sausage pieces pair nicely with Bravas.
