We showed up a little early (8pm) and got a table and they immediately served us a little appetizer. A lot of tourists came in, which was bound to happen since it is right in the center, but this place is known for the fresh, locally grown ingredients especially the artichokes that draws in locals as well so we wanted to check it out! The waiter was friendly and helped us decide what to order. We got the two most popular artichoke tapas: confitadas and montillana. We preferred the confitadas but both were delicious! We also ordered the ensalada malagueña (typical of Málaga) which is a potato salad with oranges and olives, it was very good and tasted very fresh! The waiter also convinced us to go for dessert--the leche frita (fried condensed milk) with ice cream on top! The fried milk was interesting and not sickly sweet, but I probably could have gone without it. The ice cream tasted like hazelnut and I actually enjoyed that quite a bit! Overall a great place with tasty food! read more
