Did not disappoint. Started off with warm nacho chips and salsa. I got the Govenor Tacos (grilled shrimp, pablano peppers and onions, with settled cheese). The 3 tacos were huge with 4 big pieces of shrimp. Ambiance was nice. My margarita was tasty and the server was polite. Plan on going back.

We were surprised to find authentic Mexican food in Bangor. We've been to lesser trod areas of Mexico. Their dishes are from different regions, great flavors. Fresh ingredients. We got there early, the place was full by the time we left. We sat at the bar, warm chips and homemade salsa came w the menu. My favorite Shrimp Diabla was flavorful and hot! As it should be! The Chicken Al Pastor tacos were delicious. We had birria as our appetizer, so rich. Its traditional to have a layer of oil on top of the beefy consomne, not my preference. Overall, loved it wish this place was further south!

Steak Roca Azul was terrific, sizable, and hit the spot. Carne Asada per my wife was excellent as well. She enjoyed her Mojito, which was served in a large bowl glass. Fantastic service, their team was coordinated on the floor, fast and attentive. The restaurant was very clean. We will return when visiting Bangor area again.

Probably the best Mexican food in Bangor! I use to live in the south to include New Mexico so finding more authentic good Mexican food is not easy...in Maine let alone Bangor! This was surprisingly good and tasty. Hot, but not too hot, good fresh flavors and great Mexican flavors. The place is clean and nicely decorated, staff and service were friendly! Pricing about the norm for 2025, but worth it if you're looking for good food. My husband had Enchiladas Rancheros and I had quesabirria. Both were just delicious! We both hope that the restaurant does well and doesn't change to suit local tastes. Awesome!

Friendly service, good food, and good choices for the entire family which can be challenging for my crew. Everyone was very satisfied.

Seasons was packed which caught our attention. We ate light. Our meal consisted of the buff chicken Cesar wrap and fries. Classic wrap, exactly what you expect from a place like Seasons. On the other hand, the fries were awesome. Super crispy and small just how we like them. The service was kinda funny. We had a woman who was older. Lovely lady but she definitely had a hard time keeping up with the demand. If she was quicker we probably would have ordered more.

(I have heard they offer concert parking if you eat there, but it just word of mouth so I would ask if that interests you.) We went for lunch, however, on a Monday and it was slow. There are a lot of TVs on the walls, more than I have ever seen in a sports bar. Even in the rest rooms! I can imagine how busy they are on game days there. We shared out appetizers: nachos with guacamole on the side, and naked chicken wings with dipping sauce. I don't think any of us would rave about the offerings, but it was fine for pub grub. It took a while to get the food, but we were chatting and didn't mind. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I wouldn't say it was a memorable experience, and as we live in Dexter we won't exactly be regulars there. There are so many other restaurants to try! But if someone has a reason to want to meet us there, I wouldn't complain. It is good for pub grub.

It's our first night here in Maine for this trip and we didn't bring much in the way of food as we head up to our camp, so we decided on quick and easy takeout. The staff was super friendly. I came in on the other side near the ice cream but was promptly greeted by the employee there and directed up the stairs. The girls behind the bar made eye contact and pleasant conversation. If I didn't have a car full of stuff and hungry kids I definitely would've have stayed longer for one of the delightful margaritas she was mixing up. She offered to let me wait in my car for the 20 min it would take for calzones, and she'd wave to me out the window when they were ready. Even more shocking, she actually did. Even with a restaurant full of people, I wasn't forgotten. She remembered to ask if I needed plates and sauces, so I didn't feel like an afterthought just because I was choosing takeout. Just a lovely welcoming meal that tasted as good as it looked. Don't sleep on this location or those delicious calzones! Thanks for making our night a little easier.

We decided to eat in a regular restaurant rather than fast food for our most recent trip to Bangor…read more We were in the mall area and saw Las Palapas near the hotel and decided to try it for a change of pace. Our server was helpful and friendly. We started with the standard chips and salsa. I liked it fine, but the salsa was too spicy for my wife. The server offered some enchilada brown sauce for her instead. It was a nice thought, but my wife disliked the taste and, I must agree, when I sampled it I felt it tasted unsuitable, at least for that purpose. It was Margarita Monday and I would have liked to indulge, but I was driving so I demurred. We both ordered taco salads for our meal. Taco salad is also a Monday special, priced a dollar less than the regular dinner version. Just out of curiosity, after my wife ordered the lunch special with guacamole, I ordered the regular dinner version. Our salads looked about the same, except hers had more ground beef for whatever reason. So my experiment was inconclusive. The taco salad was pretty good, and we brought some home with us for later, so it was a good value these days at around $10 each. Ordinarily I would finish by saying we'll be going back again, but the spicy salsa is probably a deal breaker for my wife, unless we bring our own mild salsa!
