To me, it really didn't matter she has been in the profession for the past 10 years. She needs some psychology and customer service classes. I wouldn't go back there, if she gave me a free treatment. It wasn't about her recommendations and the price. It was just her lack of empathy, rudeness and lack of compassion. I will totally follow her recommendations but will look for another dentist. Business fail to realize that it doesn't matter how competent someone can be. It's multiple things that make a client to want to go back.

I completely respect and understand family leave .I am a father myself -- but the office handled this situation poorly. Each cancellation forced my wife and me to rearrange our work schedules and childcare, only to be told again that the doctor was unavailable or that the product had not arrived from the lab. At one appointment, I showed up on time and was placed in the dental chair, only to be told by an assistant that the product was not available. There was no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the effort I made to be there. Instead, I was simply offered another reschedule. When I explained how difficult it was to adjust my schedule, the response felt dismissive and unprofessional. I had even taken time off work that day, yet the appointment was canceled at the last minute. To make matters worse, my insurance and Smile Generation credit account were charged even though the treatment was not completed. Communication has also been very poor . I was often told I would receive a call back, but no one followed up. Overall, this office demonstrated poor communication, unreliable scheduling, and questionable billing practices. Patients deserve better. If you value your time and expect quality service, I recommend seeking care elsewhere.

The recent process of dental work that I have had recently has left me looking for another dental office. During my visit in September 2025, I was informed that my bridge was 'failing' and in addition I had a cavity underneath a crown, and in addition to that, an adjacent tooth had to be removed. To me, as a lay person, this sounded like a tremendous amount of work and cost. I felt the office manager or Cercek should have sat down with me and gone over various options. However, I was only given a referral to an oral surgeon for implants. Implants did not seem to be a good option for me after having an appointment with the referral dentist. Aside from the exorbitant cost, the x-ray showed that I would need a 'sinus uplift'. The oral surgeon did not even bother to discuss the fact that I have periodontal disease and how that can sometimes complicate issues and even having the implants 'fail'! On my own, I researched other options such as a partial denture. I was very disappointed that no information or options were given to me by the office. I, again, had to research on my own what would potentially be my reimbursement from the insurance company because Cercek is out of network. I only had $825 left for 2025. In 2026, the maximum reimbursement would be $1,500. Because I did the research, I decided to split the dental work that needed to be done over December 2025 and January 2026. I made an appointment for December 17, 2025 and another for the partial on January 14, 2026 shortly after the September visit. I later found out (at the 17th appointment) that a minimum of 6 weeks is required for healing. From the 17th of 2025 to the 14th 2026 is only 4 weeks! My appointment was moved up one week to the 10th of December, but even still that is not 6 weeks! From my researching, yet again, I found out that healing can take up to 3 months. The fact that the office didn't take the time to help me in scheduling is a gross neglect! Back in 2011 I had the adjacent tooth pulled, the oral surgeon packed the gum with cadaver bone and put in a couple of stiches. The tooth that Cercek pulled had bone loss, and I even asked if there would be bone filled in, and the answer was no with no explanation. No stiches either. Why would I go in for a measurement for a partial denture when my gums/mouth are not completely healed. That makes no sense. So, I called to cancel my appointment for the 14th and to relay these complaints to your office manager. I was told she was in a meeting. Did not receive a call back, so called again and was asked if I could be put on a 'brief hold', which I did. 10 minutes after being on hold, I hung up. Called back yet again and was asked 'what is a good time that the office manager could call you back.' Very, very poor customer service. And this is not even the whole story, but that would require a very very lengthy review.

We had a heart-to-heart discussion and he told me it was time to take action. So it began, 10 months of treatment procedures, and all kinds of handholding and Support. Dr. Coombs is not only a very gifted and talented dentist, but he is one of the kindest and most compassionate dental providers you could ever meet. First can we just talk about how great this location is, close to midtown, middle of everything, still ample parking. Looked to be a former residential residence, the building has so much character. Upon arrival I was greeted and not too long after they sat me down and started the process. They offered a neck pillow for comfort, tv overhead with earphones if you'd like. Incredibly friendly and helpful throughout without the awkward chatter many of us are accustom too in the chair- you know the continuation of questions while they are taking care of your visit for an in and out, in and out (the instruments) type of experience. The hygienist was fantastic and walked me through some things prior to the dentist arrival. Post this, the visit was great, I shared what I hoped to accomplish in upcoming visits, etc and they were not only incredible professionally but so personable and helpful! They laid out a plan and pricing up front, no hidden costs and were helpful with the scheduling even with it being so close to the holidays! Actually looking forward to coming in for further visits and absolutely recommend for your general dentist needs to cosmetic and beyond!

And what I'm very disappointed in is the billing. They stopped taking my insurance and I have a secondary insurance to cover costs. They told me that they could bill the secondary after the primary insurance decided what they would cover. The office manager never billed my secondary, she would constantly call and text to get me to pay the difference. After three visits of "you owe us money" because they didn't bill my secondary, I was done. Cindy is very rude and snooty. She even told my husband that I still owed them $130 from a "really long time ago" when it's actually on $37. Even the voicemail saying "we've waited a long time for this" is outrageous to me. You didn't bill my insurance, you tried to get money out of ME instead.
