They did such a great job and our trees were looking so lush. Fast forward to this summer when a BIG storm took down a branch that just missed the corner of our house. On inspection of the branch, it was super duper hollow and riddled with carpenter ants. We were convinced our tree was toast and knew we knew we needed to call Handy Feller to give us the bad news. When Lon showed up to check out the scene, he assumed we made up our minds and told us their schedule is getting pretty far into autumn. When I said we're so bummed to see it go he kind of lit up a bit and basically said "well, not to talk myself out of work, but your tree is actually fine" and gave us tips on getting rid of the ants. We were so relieved and that made us respect Handy Feller even more. We very highly recommend hiring them to trim and care for your trees on a regular basis because they are honest and actually care about the health of the tree and will be truthful if the tree needs to be felled, which can come in pretty handy these days... lol

The whole process could not have not been any easier! Gary quoted the job while I was at work so…read morehe came by the next day for us to sign the contract. We just bought the house in the late winter and he walked around the property with us and told us what kind of trees we had (to me, a tree is a tree). He explained what was going to bloom and when. We learned so much about our landscaping from him! The project involved cutting down a spruce tree that was touching a chimney (fire hazard, says homeowners insurance) and trimming a locust tree that was touching the garage roof. Thankfully he prepared me that locust tree had not been trimmed in very long time and had a lot of dead branches in it so they would wind up cutting it back by about a third. We still had not moved in yet and the crew was well into the job when I arrived the day they started the work -- and I'm so glad Gary mentioned that they would be cutting it back the locust tree so much. In hindsight, it really needed it! I saw the limbs and branches that were on the ground and they were in bad shape. The crew manager explained that the guy removed the dead stuff and cut it back off the roof and was in the process of shaping the tree so it was aesthetically pleasing. It wound up looking very good and I'm excited to see how it looks once it has leaves (should be soon as we're mid-April). The crew was in and our fairly quickly. The cleanup was amazing! You'd never know that they cut down a tree and did substantial trimming on another tree as every single twig was removed! I would definitely contact Gary again for any tree service! Thanks Gary!

Tom from TNT tree removal service, did an excellent job today. This is the second time he has…read moreremoved a tree for us. Last evening and earlier this morning we had rain and a wind storm. I called his office, his wife Joanne answered and promised me that they would try to stop by today, if not tomorrow morning first thing. About 3 hours later Tom is on my door step giving me an estimate and concern that this tree was laying in the street edge, but not blocking traffic, all the same it was a hazard. After we agreed on his very reasonable price he started right then and there. He had a helper and a chain saw, and immediately cut the hanging branches and removed the limbs laying in the street. What relief to have him do that for us. His other crew showed up 1 1/2 hours later, to cut down the rest of the tree and remove the stump. They performed exactly what was quoted in the price. We are very happy with the company, the quality of customer service and the reasonable pricing. We where treated more like family and all the workers were very professional. We would recommend them to all our family and friends.
