They did such a great job and our trees were looking so lush. Fast forward to this summer when a BIG storm took down a branch that just missed the corner of our house. On inspection of the branch, it was super duper hollow and riddled with carpenter ants. We were convinced our tree was toast and knew we knew we needed to call Handy Feller to give us the bad news. When Lon showed up to check out the scene, he assumed we made up our minds and told us their schedule is getting pretty far into autumn. When I said we're so bummed to see it go he kind of lit up a bit and basically said "well, not to talk myself out of work, but your tree is actually fine" and gave us tips on getting rid of the ants. We were so relieved and that made us respect Handy Feller even more. I did not know but homeowners insurance does not cover fallen trees unless the tree hits something & damages a structure. I don't understand this logic. Anyways, Coffman came out as promised & was done in 1/2 hour. The stump was ground up 2 days later. Cost of tree removal & stump grinding was $400, a very good price. I would recommend this company, says he has been in business 30 years so he must be doing something right.

Tom from TNT tree removal service, did an excellent job today. This is the second time he has…read moreremoved a tree for us. Last evening and earlier this morning we had rain and a wind storm. I called his office, his wife Joanne answered and promised me that they would try to stop by today, if not tomorrow morning first thing. About 3 hours later Tom is on my door step giving me an estimate and concern that this tree was laying in the street edge, but not blocking traffic, all the same it was a hazard. After we agreed on his very reasonable price he started right then and there. He had a helper and a chain saw, and immediately cut the hanging branches and removed the limbs laying in the street. What relief to have him do that for us. His other crew showed up 1 1/2 hours later, to cut down the rest of the tree and remove the stump. They performed exactly what was quoted in the price. We are very happy with the company, the quality of customer service and the reasonable pricing. We where treated more like family and all the workers were very professional. We would recommend them to all our family and friends.
