While biking around the area, I was so intrigued by Robinson's Deli's sign "World's #1 Best Potato Salad" that I had to visit the next day. I'm so glad I did. The deli has your usual options, and the homemade potato salads are in a fridge. They had different variations, so we went with "Extreme" Potato Salad (egg + bacon bits) and German Potato Salad. As the deli's sign suggests, these potato salads were the best I ever had. The "Extreme" was so unique while still tasting like a homestyle potato salad. We've gotten Robinsons salads for years. We just recently got the bacon and egg potato salad and it was NOT like their salad of the past. Way, WAY, too much celery seed, barely any bacon at all, no egg that we seen in it. I was really dissapointed. I know Bidens economy killed a lot of things but never thought this would be one of them. We will go back to making our own, "Sorry" Robinsons. Got a 6-in roast beef hoagie that was very underwhelming and a hair better than Wawa. Roast beef was well done and hoagie was extremely light on roast beef and cheese to the point where I combined everything on to half the roll. Everyone was extremely nice but I expected better from a small privately owned deli. read more

As we launch into a new season I wanted to update that last year's experience was different from the year I first posted. I will give the benefit of the doubt and assume that was a bad year for them at Robinson's. Definitely great food all around. Order ahead or take grab n go if you can. read more

Great food! The Boneless bite chicken wings! The mild sauce is like hot sauce. She said the service was slow so, the food took about 30-40 minutes, and my brother wanted only bacon, so they gave it to him. And no place to sit and enjoy your meal! I don't know what the big deal is about their potato salad. It had a vinegar flavor. I don't know if it was the mayo they used or the sugar in it. Potato salad doesn't need sugar. It was also gritty, like the potatoes were stirred too much. I've had much better at several other places. I tried the rice pudding too and that wasn't bad. This Deli has the best potato Salad anywhere that our family has tasted. My wife use to look forward to coming down to our house in the Villas to get their salads in general. The rice pudding and tapioca prepared here are extra tasty. There variety and quality of salads are the best in the Cape May area. The meats are fresh and are in line with costs down here. They have 3-6 specials that are great and undercut the the Jersey Shore prices. Their hoagies are very good and taste better than those at WaWa. read more

Fortunately this place is within walking distance of my house. We love walking over to pick up essentials for a perfect summer lunch. Fresh rolls, delicious chicken salad with big, juicy chunks of chicken and, of course, their infamous potato salads.
