Located just a few miles outside of Woodstock, the Farmhouse Inn is a beautiful property and home. Breakfast and beverage options were great. Events, such as weddings, etc., are also held here. I only stayed for one night, and it was a pleasant stay. Note: If you need a TV, the room we were in does not have a TV. It is a great way to unwind, relax for sure. I can't say enough wonderful things about this lovely Inn. Sweet, friendly, quiet, thoughtful and perfect! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are perfectly appointed. 4 pillows, crisp white sheets and fluffy towels, hand blended soaps and gels for the shower and modern fixtures. The a/c worked great on this rare 95 degree weekend and the room was super comfortable with the one day the weather was cool. The innkeeper was born to this! She made the most wonderful breakfasts, eggs with local smoked cheddar and spinach from her garden, fruit smoothie and chorizo and potatoes on the side. Wow-just wow! Will return again. I was sad to leave, I was pampered and felt like a welcome guest! read more

Hands down, one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in. The setting is completely picturesque, complete with the huge red barn in the back, fields next door, a functioning 1950's red pick-up truck, a horse who adores the owner's daughter, and a river across the street. Breakfast was great too with the cheese souffle outstanding. Tory and Barry, the proprietors, were very welcoming and helpful with everything from where to eat to which carriage trails should we go running on. Four of us (2 couples) stayed at this beautiful place for two nights. A few miles outside of town, it is a beautiful place on a beautiful setting. Tory and Barry were awesome hosts that have an amazing story. They grow their own hay, have their own gardens, apple trees, maple trees to make their own syrup, chickens, bees, a horse, goats, a dog and a cat. Unbelievable breakfast with fresh eggs, homemade croissants, homemade yogurt with their honey, apples from the trees, pumpkin waffles using their home grown pumpkins with their home made syrup. The interior of the house is chocked full of beautiful antique furniture. This is the place to stay. read more

Staying at the Farmhouse Inn at Robinson Farm was the most enjoyable B&B experience I have had in memory. From the first moment my partner and I arrived to the day we left, we were made to feel welcome from the hostess' enormous hospitality and warm spirit. We were the only guests staying at the inn on a quiet weekend in February. We pulled in late at night after a slow drive from New York in the snow. Rather than disturb Tory, she offered us a heaping plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and showed us to our room. The room, the Meadow Suite, was fabulous. It was large, the bed was comfortable, and the view over the snow-covered meadow was stunning. Further, rather than look like an over-designed and fussy grandmother's place, the room was tastefully designed. This pleased me greatly, as I can sometimes feel like an old lady staying in some other places in Vermont. The bathroom was also large, and there was even an old claw foot bathtub in the room. During our stay, Tory lent us snowshoe equipment, and we went off into the mountains behind the farm to explore. You truly have to experience spending all day in the snow in the woods and returning home to Tory's freshly baked cookies and milk. It is the very definition of relaxation. The property also has a massive, traditional barn. It literally towers over the house. And if you go, you have to get Tory to give you a tour: it really is amazing inside. The Farmhouse Inn has a few factors that might not make it ideal for every guest. It is down the road a ways from Killington, which means it probably is not the best idea for people wanting to have a posh ski vacation. That drawback is mitigated somewhat by the proximity to local ski hill Suicide Six. Although it probably won't win any awards any time soon for best international ski destination, Suicide Six is a far cheaper alternative to Killington, and far less crowded. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, a nice place to stay with your family, or a good stopping point in Central Vermont, the Farmhouse Inn is pretty much the perfect choice. Located just a short drive from the town of Woodstock is this nice newly renovated Inn. This is the first B&B my husband and I have been to. We joined another couple on a fall foliage tour of New England. The hosts were fantastic and we enjoyed conversation with them. Recent renovations consisted of a full bathroom with a slate shower and pedestal sink. The decor was fitting for the home and was not over done, plenty of room to put your luggage. Breakfast the next morning was amazing along with the selection of teas including Wild Maine Blueberry. The other house guests were courteous as well. We would go back and would recommend this to others. The wireless internet was greatly appreciated as well! read more

We just got back from spending several days in Woodstock. Staying at the Farmhouse Inn was perfect. Inn Keepers, Tory and Barry, pay close attention to details in the circa 1900 home. The gardens and grounds are spectacular. It's located a few miles from downtown Woodstock which makes it the perfect retreat too. Ugh! I don't think I can say enough. The beautiful copula guided us to the Farmhouse Inn but the picturesque warmth of the setting did not end at the road. Tory and Barry were fantastic hosts in every way. In fact, despite our short stay, they felt like friends at check out. This B&B is everything it promises and one of the only ones we found that was more than accommodating to our child as opposed to others in the area that turned us away. We just finished a 5 night stay at the Farmhouse Inn. We had a marvelous time. We stayed in the Meadow Suite which suited our needs perfectly. We found the Innkeepers, Tory and Barry to be exceptionally fine people. They were extremely accommodating to our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. They were extremely helpful in guiding us to local venues for the better area restaurants and other activities. From the moment we arrived we felt more like family than guests at an Inn. Tory is quite a good cook and though we were there for a full 5 breakfasts each day was a different surprise, ranging from an egg souffle to a spinach omelette. The setting was beautiful as well. We only have positive things to say about our stay. Will probably come back when we return to Woodstock read more

Just returned from a brief stay at The Farmhouse Inn and it was wonderful! Tory and Barry were super friendly and definitely made my mother and I feel comfortable during our stay. The house was beautiful and has some interesting history. Our room was on the third floor and was well-decorated and cozy. One of our favorite parts of our trip was the delicious breakfast we were served. We are early risers and were glad to see that coffee was already brewed when we woke up. While we watched the snow fall outside, Tory and Barry prepared a wonderful breakfast of warm polenta drizzled with honey (from their own bees!), delicious sausage, and zucchini and summer squash. We definitely hope to return to The Farmhouse Inn at Robinson Farm and would recommend it to anyone. read more

Best Vermont Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed at ! The historic home and 4 story bright red barn are the perfect place to spend a few nights during fall foliage season in Vermont! Tory and Barry are attentive hosts! THe home is tastefully decorated and not too much lace and frills- Breakfasts are home made with eggs from the chickens and local ingredients many grown right on the property ! Rooms were comfortable, modern bathrooms and good linens on the beds, and cozy towels for bathing. The Farmhouse is located outside of Woodstock Vermont. Barry & Tory are some of the most warm and gracious hosts ever! The perfect combination of friendly yet unobtrusive. The inn's decor is tasteful Victorian - with an impeccable attention to detail. Comfortable, classy. We were served a totally knock-out breakfast: homemade pumpkin waffles with maple syrup made by the hosts from the trees on the farm, fresh fruit with homemade yoghurt from the neighbor's milk-cow ... Tory is a charming and dedicated hostess with customer service as her number one goal. The farm is charming, clean and authentic. It has been painstakingly restored which adds an air of authenticity. You will NOT find lumpy mattresses, or doors that stick. They take great care on maintaining every aspect of this charming old farm. It is close to several ski areas and a hand full of restaurants in near by towns. The best part is the value that you get for your money. You will not go wrong by choosing Robinson Farm. Last winter I spent several nights at the Farmhouse Inn. Our experience was wonderful! The hosts were very gracious, friendly, and treated my boyfriend and I like family. The breakfasts were some of the best I have ever had - the creme brule french toast is to die for!! Our room was very clean and the amenities were very appreciated. We spent hours in the family room playing Bananagrams!! This place is great for a romantic getaway or a family trip! There is so much to do in Woodstock all year round and we loved it so much we are returning next week for a romantic summer vacation! read more
