But if you're looking for an "old school" no-nonsense approach to getting your hair cut, this is your kind of place. No reservations. Just a straight forward haircut at an outstanding price. This is not the place to go if you're high on drama and have a huge list of needs from your hair stylist. This IS the place to go if you appreciate a man's cut that is stylish, well considered, and you're looking for that crisp/clean look. I consider myself as overly concerned of my image/look and I haven't gone anywhere else for years. If Anderson Cooper were to need a haircut in Burlington, VT ... THIS is where he'd end up.

The technician that greeted me was so welcoming, warm and friendly. I'd not seen their menu before coming in, so I didn't realize they did three types of pedicures. I'd just requested the basic, but they also do two upgraded experiences (and I sadly forgot to take a picture of the menu). All were reasonably priced, too. One thing I love is when nail salons have polish that is not diluted by acetone to make it last longer. These were fresh bottles and thus, provide a better polish. The foot and leg massage I received had me so relaxed that it's a miracle I didn't doze off. The technician was friendly and we had a great chat about her kids and the area. My actual pedicure was flawless, as the picture shows. It's a week later and there's been no chips, etc. like can happen when polish is diluted. The First Lady used dirty tools and drill bits on me, the desk I was sitting at was filthy, old towel from previous clients on the table, very unsanitary conditions. When Angel came to me she was very rough, flicking my fingers and hands up to switch a finger to file or apply gel to, she seared my cuticle open on my ring finger, didn't apologize and continued the service without changing any tools for sanitation after making me bleed. She used all the same tools and threw them in a drawer to use again. She also nipped open my pinky on the same hand which now has pus inside of it the next day. Nobody ever wore gloves, after putting the gel polish on me Angel realized that there was some of the polish around the neck of the bottle so she scooped it up with the brush and put it back in the bottle! It was $55 for a gel overlay and I tipped $5 when I feel like I shouldn't have been charged for anything! This experience was awful, I DO NOT recommend!
