Unfortunately, the level of customer service has declined significantly and could use improvement.

Then Gentlemen's Top Option Salon is your place! Colloquially known as GTO, you will be able to easily park (for free) and the owner, Penny, will make sure to line you up with one of her many great stylists so that you come out looking better than when you went in - every time. I've been a customer here for around 15 years + and would not swap for another salon in Chittenden. Why? All others I have tried suck (excuse the very technical term) in comparison to GTO! Hope you enjoy the cut, service, clean facility and ease-of-access as much as I do!

This is not the place to go if you're high on drama and have a huge list of needs from your hair stylist. This IS the place to go if you appreciate a man's cut that is stylish, well considered, and you're looking for that crisp/clean look. I wanted my hair washed, cut, and blow dried before a big party I'm having tomorrow. Well, apparently I did not say "blow dry" when I made my appointment, so I got my hair washed and cut (poorly) and not blow dried--which is exactly what I wanted. I can't blow dry my hair the way they can. The woman making my appointment might have asked "and blow dry?" OF COURSE I want my hair blow dried! I have never heard of a salon that washes and cuts hair and the customer goes home without a blow dry. I blow dried at home as best I could--but noticed how POOR the hair cut is! It's awful! I'll never go there again.
