The whole team is excellent and she does an amazing job delegating so you're always in good hands. They keep excellent records of your visits, services, products you've tried and enjoyed, etc. Appointment management is incredibly easy and they are consistently accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere of the salon is relaxing and very well kept. The retail space is well curated and enjoyable, and she brings in products she truly believes in and wears herself. The in house café is also a lovely addition and is equally well curated. Location is easily accessible and there's almost always parking right out front. Pricing is transparent and reasonable. The team-style business model means you're never being pushed into a service for a higher commission rather than your benefit, and everyone on the team is on the same page (no competing for clients, etc). Every visit, I feel well taken care of from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave, and fully trust all of the stylists to act in my best interest. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Went for a haircut a couple weeks ago, and admittedly left overall satisfied, however the stylist…read morewho did my hair left a HUGE chunk of the front layer blunt and unblended. This was a relatively easy fix at home, but she never should have let me leave the chair when even I was able to see this massive chunk in the mirror. Now we have a more serious problem. My daughter went in for a cut and layers around the front. First, the lady doing her hair cut it FAR too short without first confirming the length, and at that point there was nothing my daughter could have said to fix that. Then, she gave her a single layer that went around the entire head, straight across, also poorly blended. The front two pieces were not blended (straight across, blunt) so it looked like she was wearing a helmet. The lady left no volume in the lower part of the hair, and left so much on top. I don't think I need to explain how devastated my daughter is. I'm frustrated, given the fact that my children and I have been going to this hairdressers for many years, and I guess now that the old stylists who knew what they were doing have left, there are only new and inexperienced "hairdressers" working there. I should never have let my daughter go there after what I ended up leaving with. Would not recommend on any level.

At the time, I was using Marc Anthony's line of curly hair products. I washed my hair the night before and used the product. I have never had anyone else mention a bad odor, including my husband who would certainly let me know. I nearly walked out in the middle of the haircut because she continued to go on and on about the smell. It was ridiculous and utterly unprofessional. On top of it, I walked out with one of the worst haircuts to date. There were no layers and I walked out of there as the shape of a triangle. It took me forever to grow my hair out. I wasted a ton of time waiting for an appointment with Amanda and then wasted a bit of money. I would never recommend this salon to anyone with curly hair, unless your thing are triangles and unprofessionalism, then Amanda would be your person.

First off I called on a Wednesday after work, around 4:30 because I had several questions about the types of wax they use. I spoke to Michelle and she really took her time explaining both types of wax Gigi and Nufree-I'd never heard of Nufree wax) and the benefits. We were on the phone for probably 10-15 minutes and she did not try to rush me off the phone once. I guess she could tell I was still hesitant and asked if I would like to come in and do a test strip with the Nufree wax. She let me come in at 4:50 that same day, just before closing. [I had a lot of concerns, we had a wedding to go to that weekend so I needed a good service done asap that would not cause a bad reaction and Michelle was super accommodating]. Michelle was extremely welcoming and honest. We did a strip and I was in and out. I normally have some sort of reaction to almost every wax but the Nufree did not cause any irritation. I made an appointment for Friday at 4:45 with Linda. She was just as nice and welcoming as Michelle and made me feel really comfortable. She took extra precautions to prevent any irritation. The service was quick and professional. I will definitely be going back to Linda and would recommend Rapunzel Salon for waxing to everyone I know! Overall I really felt at ease and that my concerns were being heard. They have great prices, great staff, and really care about their customers..what more could you ask for?!
