So incredibly pleased to have met Lindsay this week! I finally had to admit to myself that my…read more"cheaping out" on my hair was causing irreparable damage to it. Since I love to be bleach blonde and also keep my hair long, I needed to start being more mindful of how I am treating it. Sat down in Lindsay's chair yesterday and was forthright with her that my hair had gotten to a really bad point and I needed honest opinions and help to establish a solid plan for repair. She acknowledged my statement and started discussing options. However, she did agree that she would partially highlight my hair to freshen up my roots and give me the cut and treatment I initially requested. A couple hours later, I left her chair with fresh and GORGEOUS hair. I am still catching my reflection in the mirror today and feeling so happy and pleased with the results. The treatment and trim gave it a critical health boost while the highlights and root coverage gave me a confidence boost. It was such a pleasure to meet Lindsay and I am excited to continue to visit her for my haircare. Thanks again!!

But then to upsell me a glaze at the sink, rather than do the full color touch up that was included in the package...? Or was only included in the unacceptable Groupon deal? Lindsay was nice enough, I guess. She didn't cut my hair crooked or burn me, but I also had a nice ring of dye around my forehead and basically paid double out of pocket. Then she asked for more money to do a less thorough job (rinse in glaze vs pulling the color through the ends, like a professional). Definitely not coming back or recommending this lazy and misleading stylist to anyone I like.

She took the time to really understand my hair goals, my lifestyle, and what would be realistic for me on a daily basis. Instead of just giving me a great cut (which she absolutely did!), Susie focused on building a curly hair routine that actually sets me up for success. What makes Susie so special is her passion for helping people embrace and care for their natural texture. She explained each product and technique clearly and patiently, making sure I felt confident replicating everything at home. I left not only loving how my curls looked, but also feeling empowered with a personalized plan that works for me. If you're looking for someone who listens, tailors their approach to you, and truly cares about your long-term hair health and confidence--Susie is the one.

Some declined service for the simple fact that I have very curly hair. As soon as I walked into Casey's suite she started analyzing the situation of my hair. She was very honest about expectations (very notable). She explained that my hair may not be exactly what my initial goal was at this appointment but she would do her best while maintaining the integrity of my hair. I'd also like to note I have gotten my hair professionally done ONCE and was unhappy with the results which prompted me to continue doing my hair at home. Casey took my butchered idea of what I'd like to achieve with my hair and brought it to life. She understood my fear of melting my hair off and was very gentle. All of her products smelt AMAZING and my hair feels even better. The vibes were high from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I went in expecting to break the bank to get my hair done but Casey has very reasonable pricing for the amazing service I received. For how much hair I have and how thick it is Casey worked very fast and thoroughly. We didn't get done until late in the night and she didn't bat an eye at the time frame, amazing. For those who have fear of going to stylists or getting their hair done professionally, please take it from me that Casey is ready to take on a challenge. First off, there is no other hair artist I would go to, since I only trust Edith's magic skills…read more Yes, the extent of her amazing work is practically magical. The first time I had gone to a hair stylist it left me not ever wanting to have my hair touched again by anyone, but knowing Edith's history of flawless and exquisite work I knew I would not have been left disappointed again. So I gave it a chance and ever since the first visit I have been a loyal client. The only way I'd go to another hair artist is if Edith retires, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. What I love about Edith's services is that she tells you how the color would look like due to your complexion, to your face shape, to the season and the amount of maintenance you will have to put in it. That way you know what you're getting yourself into, and her opinion is something I take into consideration very highly. While she's doing her magic she makes sure you are comfortable, the atmosphere she creates is very homely and at the end of your appointment you just don't want to leave! There's no other hair artist I would go to, and who I would recommend to my family, friends, and acquaintances. Her prices aren't as expensive as others would charge, and she always offers great deals on her Instagram account. Contact her asap for a life changing hair style!

She said yes and immediately wanted me to send her a $100 deposit to secure the time. I completely respect and understand that, but I wasn't going to go in blind without receiving a quote or estimate on the time & cost it will take to do my hair. I said I'll send the deposit soon, but can she give me a price & time estimate first. She requested what hair I wanted, how my current hair looks and my hair history and I replied as thoroughly as possible. No reply. Followed up again the next morning asking for her input, still no reply. Here I am two days later feeling pretty bummed. Ghosting new potential clients is pretty disrespectful I'd say, not to mention unprofessional. And she was posting stories and posts as usual on her social media. Makes me conclude she'll only respond if you blindly give her your money.

She is so knowledgeable and attentive and hands down the best colorist I've seen (I've been to many in DC, NY, NC, DE and PA at salons that specialize in color). I'm really picky about my color and almost never more than somewhat satisfied with someone new. But after I read the reviews about Meghan I had to try to see her and I'm so grateful that it worked out. She taught me so much just in one visit about hair, hair products, styling, as well as there science behind coloring and making sure you know what to do to optimize your color and also spent so much time making sure everything was perfect and that I was 100% satisfied. She was painstaking in the color application and blowout and didn't rush anything even though it was getting late and she had already had a long day. She's also a really kind and generous human and I'm just so amazed that people like her exist. TLDR: she made a worn out, picky toddler mom look and feel amazing on her babymoon and is the best colorist I've met. She does book up months in advance, but you won't be sorry you planned ahead!
