I can't recommend Steve Beam's company highly enough! We've been working with Steve for almost a…read moredecade now, and he's consistently exceeded our expectations. We first hired him back when he was known as "Steve Beam Handyman," and it's been amazing to see him grow and expand his services with the launch of Denver Remodels Inc. Over the years, Steve and his team have tackled everything from small repairs (like anchoring heavy drapery hardware into our finicky plaster walls) to major renovations (like restoring the exterior of our 1908 Craftsman). One of our favorite projects was transforming our mudroom by removing a wall and building a custom breakfast nook. This was a complex project, but Steve's expertise and creativity shone through. He even suggested a design element in the booth walls that perfectly complemented the Craftsman lines of our home - it's those little details that make a huge difference. What we think truly sets Steve apart is his incredible craftsmanship, creativity, and his consultative approach. He takes the time to truly understand your vision and offers expert guidance throughout the design process. Whether you're tackling a small project or a major renovation, Steve's deep knowledge and experience are on display with every project he does. He's always there to answer questions, offer suggestions, and steer you in the right direction, ensuring that the final result is even better than you imagined. His team is equally fantastic - professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional remodeling experience in Denver, look no further than Steve Beam and Denver Remodels Inc. They're a standout and I'm so glad we found them.

The work took longer than we initially estimated, but Steve communicated with us throughout and was responsive to questions/requests. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. When the subcontracted came they started the project and RAN OUT OF CARPET. 740 square feet short. It had to be specially ordered again from the carpet company that they use and that took 7 days to get delivered to their store. You would think that since they do the measurements and book a project that they would show up to the job with enough carpet to complete the job. The subcontractors had to communicate this with us. Wagner did not call and apologize for the delay or lack of knowledge. It took an additional week for them to come back and when they did come back they were supposed to come between 9-11am. They did not come until around 3:30 ish. I also was not told they were coming late I had to keep asking. After the carpet was installed they had left a huge mess for us to clean up. All of the leftover carpet fringes were all over the place. The LVP guys, pushed the excess material into the basement drain causing it to clog. Communication with everything was horrible. Before our carpet was installed we had brand new drywall installed and my husband worked very hard to paint the walls before the carpet was laid so we didn't have to paint after new carpet was installed. Unfortunately that was not the case. Our walls were severely damaged due to lack of responsibility with materials. I will attach pictures below. I was in tears over the damage that had been to the walls. I asked the guy what about all the damage in the walls he dabbed paint with a dirty textured hand towel on the wall trying to make it better I said no this is drywall damage. He said to call Wagner because it wasn't him. We called Wagner and told them we needed it fixed. My husband spoke to the "director of operations" and she was unable to authorize a discount of anything else until she spoke to someone higher, not sure who is higher than that but it took her days to come back. We had to fight tooth and nail to get slight compensation for everything we had to deal with. They called us and said their drywall repair guy was too busy so we could hire someone and send them the invoice and they would pay it. We had our drywall guy come back and get a new quote and we sent the quote to wagner. THEN they decided that their drywall guy had time all of the sudden. So now they wasted our drywall's guy time by coming and doing a quote. When their drywall guy came to fix the walls he fixed the dry wall and only wanted to paint small patches. My husband said no you need to paint the whole wall in order to not leave lines. He also did not paint all the way down the walls. He also got a ton of paint in the carpet by the trim area. It was very devastating and missed quite a bit of spots. He also left divots on the wall from his ladder. On top of that he brought his 2 unknown people to the house, I'm assuming his wife and kid but it was very unprofessional. It took him about 3 days to finish it all. This project was supposed to be about 3 days max and it took about a month when it was all said and done. When we put the trim in the bathroom the gap (where LVP meets wall) was larger than what you can reasonably cover with a piece of trim so they had to come back and fix that too. It was so exhausting. Update one year later, the carpet at the seams is bulging and fringing up. So long story short the carpet got installed but I would never hire Wagner again or prefer them to anyone. They keep texting me asking me for reviews and referrals and how I can get a 50 dollar Amazon gift card if someone does a project with them but NO THANK YOU!

Buerger Brothers Construction built an addition to our home, which included a 700+ square foot garage, using concrete poured on Piers and a floor poured as a "Slab on void" due to bad soils report. They also built a new deck, and managed front yard landscaping. They are an honest, ethical, professional, and an excellent company to do business with. We started planning in May of 2019, with construction from June through October of 2020, we found ways to work during the early days of the Covid pandemic. Communicating with Christian was a breeze, he was easy to talk to, responsive, professional and truly cares about what you are conveying. Because I am a retired engineer I had to stick my nose into everything... From the beginning he brought in professionals from the Architect, Structural Engineers to the finishing Carpenter and Painter, each step was amazing and all within budget. The cadre of subcontractors hired by Burger Brothers had to meet a high standard of professionalism and produce a high quality product, they were all wonderful to work with. Of note, was the daily cleanup, the care taken and the security to the existing area, especially working in the midst of a pandemic! Inconvenience was kept to a minimum and in the end we can actually say the complete project went quite smoothly and was a great experience. Would I hire them to do it again? Absolutely "In a heartbeat, no doubt about it!" I just cannot brag enough about this company and I promise you will not regret your decision to hire Christian and his crew! I could go on and on, but you get the gist.... if you want honesty and professionalism, these are your guys! Without hesitation I would recommend them and would hire them again to do any construction project.

They seemed very professional and replaced a few tiles, making the shower look as good as new after the initial job. Had this been the end of the story this would be a 5 star review. However, over the following months, the grout has repeatedly come up, requiring multiple repairs. Grout Medic has come out three times to fix the recurring issues, but their response time for warranty work has been slow, which has been frustrating. Most recently, the grout has come up again for the fourth time within weeks of the most recent repair, and it took a few days to get a response we had a no show and then a reschedule to get the repair complete. Each time we have asked them to do whatever is necessary to prevent this from happening. Overall, while their initial work looked great, the durability of the re-grouting has been disappointing, and We are very hopeful, this repair looks much better and fingers crossed it does the job.
