This place is named after one of my childhood heroes Roberto Baggio, goes without saying then that I inevitably like the place. Even if it wasn't named Roberto's, we all know that if Mediterranean and cuisine is mentioned in the same sentence you'll find you have my undivided attention.
This Mediterranean restaurant lies in the heart of Bromborough Village. I must say, bit of a mixed bag this one. They serve a diverse selection of dishes. They got Spanish paellas and tapas, Italian pastas and pizzas, steaks, chicken and fresh seafood all with the med flavourtastic razzamatazz!! I'd recommend the Chicken Romagna, that's chicken breast rolled in a bed of crunchy breadcrumbs, drizzled in herb and tomato sauce then rain on some delicious mozzarella and baked to perfection. All yours for under £11. There is a range of tapas for you to try out also. If you do go for one they recommend home-made sangria which comes in a traditional terracotta jug. (£12 / litre) good call!! Sangria is quality isn't it, just saying it out loud lets me escape and let the imagination run its course. Sangria in hand on a beach with white sand. If there is any room left in that tummy than Grand mama Jean's Chocolate fudge cake is the perfect conclusion to the meal. The home made fudge cake is served warm with either chocolate sauce or ice cream, sweet sweet ending, oh yes!!!
