I don't know why so many locals hate on this place I swear you can't go wrong with them any day of the week! I've had SO many 4:00 am after the club run ins where they were open and their food? BOMB!!! I think they are pretty notorious for their carne asada fries and when I say they're delicious? That's an understatement they're HUGE and good!!! The service is great they are so nice especially being this is a 24 hour taco center it doesn't matter what hour you come in they are SO friendly!!! In my eyes and their eyes there's quite literally NEVER a bad time for tacos!! And I love it! The ambiance in Roberto's is always super chill kind of like a fast food place because it is a chain in LV yet very nice and always clean from what I've seen! We decided to dig in here tonight!! Not a bad experience at all. The food itself was good, but the flavor itself seemed to lack depth. We thought it was going to be more of a "home style" kitchen, but it definitely came across as more on the side of fast food. Portion sizes were hearty! The tostada was delicious and LOADED! We were a little disappointed by the chorizo torta actually being chorizo and egg & not just chorizo as it is advertised on the menu, but it was still good. The bottom of the tortillas on the enchiladas were a bit tough to get through. I had to use a knife to get through them, and because the meals are served in styrofoam plates, even for dine-in, I cut through the plate just trying to get through the tortilla. The horchata didn't taste fresh or homemade. It tasted as if it was made from a packet added to water. Again, none of it was "bad", it just wasn't better than "okay". read more

I have come to this location for many years now. I'm a little bummed that they don't have Mountain Dew anymore since this is the reason why I came. And didn't choose Burger King for lunch. But the real reason why I am leaving this review is that when I was Looking at my receipt I noticed that the cashiers last name was on it. In my opinion, you shouldn't have the last name on it. Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - came for a late night snack at around 11 PM but we got the wrong thing again (different location)! We ordered the beef burrito but got a bean and cheese burrito instead. Thankfully, we were eating in the store so we were able to get it fixed immediately. It's the wettest dry burrito ever but it hit the spot at night. Ambience: 4/5 - music was loud and it was different music playing in the dining room vs what was blasting in the kitchen. It smells heavily of disinfectant so at least you know they tried to clean! Service: 5/5 - friendly and quick. She shouted at the cook who got the order wrong initially and he was the one who brought the food back out to us. Value for price: 4/5 - great for late nights! I ordered the five rolled taco special, believe it's #26, which is $9.90 nowadays. I specifically asked for them to be cooked extra crispy and what I got was a batch that looked and tasted like they had been soaked in warm oil for a few seconds. I wouldn't have even considered these regularly fried, much less extra crispy. There was a slight browning and crunch on the very end edges of each one and that's it. The majority of the taquitos were soft and malleable. I was able to unroll them easily without the tortillas breaking. They don't use any of the white, cotija, cheese to accent the dish, which other locations do. At the salsa bar they only had lemon slices, no limes and no jalapeños with the carrots. I asked for some and they told me they were out. The only reason I'm giving two star is because the staff was nice. read more

This might be the worst Roberto's in the area...ordered the taco salad with the carne asada upcharge of $2.00. The meat was just OK quality but wasn't even warm. The restaurant was out of limes so they put out lemons, they were also out of jalapeños. The carrots had an odd flavor and were not edible. We ordered a chili relleno burrito and a carnitas torta. For the burrito we ordered it with no rice just beans and pico de gallo. We get home, my husband bites into and it has rice. He opens it and it didn't have the pico, but the worst part is the relleno was as hard as a rock. The chili was hard like frozen solid but hot. The torta had more lettuce than meat, I would say the amount of meat was like 3 tablespoons and not generous tablespoons. We took food back handed her everything and they credited only the burrito. We were a bit peckish last night, so we decided we wanted some Mexican food. We came to Roberto's, and I had been hearing good things about it from friends at school. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla, breakfast burrito, and rolled tacos with guac. We got home, and opened the food. The breakfast burrito was enormous, as was the quesadilla. The rolled tacos looked good. I tried a rolled taco, and it was decent. I also tried a bite of the breakfast burrito my boyfriend got. I don't know how, but there was literally no flavour despite having so much in it and salsa on top. Their red salsa tastes like tomato juice. The quesadilla was really good and really huge, but extremely greasy from the cheese. Back home, they fry the cheese first, then put it in the tortilla so that it's not greasy. Oh Roberto's, where would I be in life if you weren't around? One place I definitely wouldn't be is keeling over on my toilet. But don't get me wrong, I would happily come back to Roberto's for more of their burritos, carne asade fries, and other quick fixes of mexican food. I was craving a hefty breakfast burrito one day and did not care about the quality of it, I simply wanted heft, and Roberto's knows how to pack it all in. So I call in 15 minutes before, head there, pick up my breakfast burrito, grab a horchata, and naïvely stuff too much hot salsa into the bag as well. I pour generous portions of said hot salsa (this is important) in every bite and even though I feel ulcers forming in my stomach, I gladly take another bite. Anyway, point is, I thoroughly enjoyed my food and will be back for more even if it means a self induced overnight trip to the bathroom. I've been to this location about 6 times hoping for more chicken each time and it's unfortunately not gotten any better. I really really like Robertos as a chain and will continue to be a patron however I am going to take a break from this location for a bit. I get the chicken tacos and they seem to have less and and less amount of chicken in them each time. Im not sure if it's because I order them to go or what the deal is. On a positive note, the restaurant is always very clean when I walk in, the salsa bar is wiped clean and there are always little salsa to go cups and lids well stocked. This place is terrible. I tried some horrible cardboard chicken tacos here over two years ago (and haven't been back since) and thought I learned my lesson. Came in here late night, figured I'd try a lengua burrito at the listed menu price of $5.65. Tack on a small cheese quesadilla and a drink + use of a credit card and I get hit with $15.53. Are you kidding me? I asked what the "misc" charge of $3.70 was and I was told "oh, it's for the lengua" even though it says right on their menu that it is $5.65. Instead of arguing and risking getting my food spit in, I just paid the bill. The food was bland, the price was unreasonable and unexplainable (I don't mind paying a premium if it's stated in the menu) the salsa bar was a disgusting mess. I know there are mixed reviews for Roberto's, but the time of day and the entrée that you order plays a huge role in whether you like this place or not. Roberto's is the type of restaurant you eat after a long night of drinking, and it will always welcome you through it's doors in the wee hours of the night so thank you! They're best known for serving you a gajillion calories of carne asada fries (or ask for a substitution of adobada meat), so make sure you're sharing that plate with your other drunk buddies. I personally liked their chicken tamale combination plate because you can't go wrong with a wet tamale smothered in cheese and sauce. They also provide plenty of spicy side toppings, like their pickled chile and onions that you can freely grab at the salsa bar. This is the type of generic Mexican food you would only catch me eating in the dead of night, so I will be back Roberto! read more
