Plumbing Work is mind blowing & i want to appreciate this guy
Mathew D.

On Wednesday, I had an experience with Robert Wilson Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning services! They showed up on schedule which was a relief since timing can sometimes be unpredictable with service providers like this. The task involved fixing a kitchen pipe hidden inside the wall but the team was very professional and knowledgeable in their approach. They carefully examined the problem. Explained everything in a manner to make sure I was fully informed about the necessary steps, without any pressure to buy additional services or causing any confusion. Their meticulousness and focus on cleanliness were remarkable; they made sure to leave the workplace neat once the task was done. I was impressed, by how they finished the task and charged less than the initial estimate had indicated. That really caught my attention! It's not common to come across a company that not provides service but also goes above and beyond when it comes to pricing and complexity levels. I wholeheartedly suggest Robert Wilson Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning for anyone, in search of plumbing services that're both cost effective and carried out with professionalism. They managed to simplify the process and eliminate any stress involved in dealing with such an issue.

We have a Trane Compressor that needs to be replaced. It is under warranty. Would Robert Wilson do this repair and at what cost?

We would definitely do this repair if we can get the compressor if it’s a R 22 unit more than likely the compressor won’t be available if it’s a 410 a unit the supplies are limited. It’s $140 an hour that also includes $140 an hour to do the…

They did some work in my evaporative system on the roof on one of the hottest days of the summer, as well as ordered and replaced a whirley bird vent. I just had them back to shut off my unit, start up my furnace, and clean the furnace. Next spring, I'll have them replace my old rusty evaporative unit ~ and their estimate was very fair and affordable. Having qualified, ethical, knowledgable handi-people is no small thing. They are my go-to for all things HVAC and Plumbing going forward.

Called several companies, dealt with outrageous quotes and fast talk. Brian at Horizon was calm, took the time to explain what he would do. He confirmed our appointment and showed up ready to do a full check up and maintenance. We also asked for a video of the plumbing -which had repairs done last year by an outfit I will not name. Brian did the tune up/clean up. The furnace checked out fine, thank goodness. The video did reveal a significant vertical breach in a major pipe that had been steadily leaking under a bathroom. Brian referred "My PLumber" for the pipe replacement. Dodged a looming disaster! Great job all around. So nice to work with good, honest service professionals.

Michael assured me that he would be back in touch with a quote for the job. I never heard anything. A few weeks later, I used Yelp to try and get quotes for that same job and he contacted me again via Yelp, not realizing that he had already been to my house, already been asked for a quote, and didn't provide one. So I won't be using them for my little project, unfortunately. Unfortunately, I also will not be using them to start up and shut down my air conditioner again. The service was fine and they did it average job so I was happy with that, but the fact that they didn't give me a quote when I asked for one and then tried to give me a second quote after the fact was irritating and didn't demonstrate good customer service. You will pay a decent and fair price in line with other heating/cooling folks in town for air conditioning start up/shut down and heater start up/shut down. I can recommend them for that service. I cannot recommend them as far as getting a quote for any air-conditioning or heating jobs. I'm not sure what was going on with them, but they didn't give me any confidence that they might actually follow through with the job since I couldn't even get a quote from them. It's been months and I've not been contacted again about the potential job. Maybe give them a shot but don't be surprised if you are disappointed.

The condensation trap was proper improperly installed. There was some kind of oil in the heating element unit in the house smelled like burning oil for an entire month. Everything took forever to get resolved. I would not recommend this company for any service, especially the HVAC service.

JP Plumbery - Air handler not installed square onto output duct

JP Plumbery did the HVAC work on my parents new build a few years back so we were referred to them…read morewhen our heater started giving us issues this winter. Our heater was 20+ years old and we've been wanting to switch from a swamp cooler to refrigerated air for some time now. We decided to pull the trigger and did a full replacement of both units. They were extremely competitive when it came to pricing, another company was going to be significantly more expensive when we were just looking at the heater repair/replacement. Cody and Dylan were the two service techs that replaced the units and were great to work with. The first day they arrived they were very thorough in explaining the process and what to expect over the coming days. I didn't feel the need to check in with them because they would check in with me when they arrived every day and throughout so they could update me on the progress they were making. With the change in weather I've used both the AC and heating unit in the last couple of weeks and both are working great! I would recommend JP Plumbery to anyone in need of their services! Joe

This is about work done by JP Plumery in October 2024 (before their partnership with Signature…read moreHeating and Cooling). I had them install a new Carrier heat pump ($18K+) to replace a broken evaporative cooler/ancient furnace. The furnace was located in a second-floor closet, so that's where they installed the air handler (and coil), both installed vertically. Unbeknownst to me, a city permit was required for this work, which was NOT obtained by JP Plumery. Had a permit been obtained along with the city inspection, NONE of these problems would have occurred. 1. They did not correct the air intake to handle a 4-ton heat pump (which they oversized - my house is only 1800 sq ft). They claimed a 20"x20" intake was completely fine for this system. Nope. It required a minimum of 1680 cfm air flow; a 20"x20" only provided 840 CFM. 2. The condensate drain they installed was completely incorrect - it had a long horizontal pipe immediately after the handler drain instead of a 5" long P trap to prevent the negative pressure from the air handler from sucking condensate back into the air handler (see photo with accompanying condensate inside the air handler). 3. The air handler was not installed 'square' onto the ductwork supplying the house (see photo). 4. They did not install an automatic shut-off required by city code to turn the unit off if the condensate pump pan overflowed and water backed up into the air handler. This caused flooding in the second-floor closet that leaked into the first-floor ceiling. Once this leak occurred in late July 2026 (and it had been going on for a while, just not noticed because it hadn't leaked through the ceiling yet), I called JP only to be connected to Signature Heating and Cooling. The air handler was full of water. The tech diagnosed inadequate air intake or a potential refrigerant leak causing the problem (the air was plenty cold coming out of the registers). When I asked why JP did not install the correct air intake, all I got was crickets. So I contacted the BBB and all of a sudden, they want to come out and 'take another look.' Same tech came out and denied that inadequate air intake was the problem and instead added more refrigerant, which made the condensation worse. For both of these visits, I was not given any objective measurements or photos taken by them. So I had two other HVAC companies come out to see what was going on. Both diagnosed the problem as an inadequate air intake and an improperly installed condensate drain with no automatic shut-off. I had both problems corrected and, what do you know, the problem was solved. All this during our 100-degree heat in August 2026. I went back to Signature Heating and Cooling/JP Plumery for reimbursement for the work I had to have done to correct their mistakes. All they have done is deny deny deny and will not take accountability for their mistakes. Now I have to have the city come out (at my additional expense) to retroactively issue a permit. The BBB was absolutely no help, so I've contacted the CID for New Mexico and will write reviews where-ever I can to warn you all about these merged companies. DO NOT do business with them. See my other reviews for who I recommend. JP can reply to this all he wants, but he knows what was done. It's funny, all they had to do was reimburse me $2500. Now I have a file a claim in court.
