Quick response time. Very friendly staff. Installed a new motor for my swamp cooler but they had to return twice because the float wasn't correctly set. so 3 trips total to switch out the motor. a month later they had to replace the float- this only took 2 tries as the float apparently fell on its side. They came back as often as it took, but I would prefer the job be done right the first time. not sure I would recommend simply because it took multiple attempts both times I hired them. read more

NCB was the first to reply to my request of maintenance service on Tankless water heater . I received a quote from Brandon a appointment was scheduled. Brandon S and Ryan phoned me 15 minutes before arrival. They were very professional and right away did what needed to be done and explained to me what was being done . Payment is always credit card and they email your receipt . I will definitely call them in the future for annual maintenance for the tankless water heater and my heating and cooling system. read more

plugged sewer line Brandon called at 0730, said he could have tech at my house between 3-5pm, same day service. At 12:30pm Tyler called said he could be here in 10 minutes. Explained what he was going to do, very clean about it, careful of the surrounding area, cleaned everything when he finished. Fee was very reasonable with senior discount. Tyler and Brandon's service was outstanding, will always use them in the future. I had never had any contact with NCB prior to this day, but will always use them in the future, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! read more

We had NCB Mechanical to get our swamp cooler set up in May. They were 4 hours late and they came to me with pictures of what they said was our swamp cooler. The pictures showed massive rust and a really bad looking unit. They told me it would be $6000 - $8000 to replace. I asked them to send me the pictures and they ghosted me for weeks. I disputed the charge with my bank and my bank asked them to send them them the photos and they ever did. The photos they said was our unit was not even our unit. My son and I went up on our roof and got it set up in 15 minutes and has been working great. Our unit was new in 2013 and is in great shape and needs no repairs. Our bank refunded our money. For anyone who hires this shoddy company, I suggest you get another quote. When we had it replaced it in 2013 it was $1200 including installation. BUYER BE WARE. GET ANOTHER QUOTE. read more

It was a very frustrating experience, primarily because of language barriers. I had already purchased a kitchen faucet to be installed. But they said directions were too complicated, so we finally agreed for them to purchase a different faucet locally to install. They did, and it works - but between their charges for labor, travel, and parts, it was a very expensive day. read more

We have had several companies service our aging swamp cooler over the past few years; NCB Mechanical was by far the best. We were miserable last summer as the temperatures hit 100 degrees and higher, but this year we are perfectly comfortable thanks to the service done by NCB Mechanical. They got us on the schedule the day after we contacted them, the issue was quickly identified and resolved, and they even took care of some maintenance we hadn't known was needed (but obviously was!). Out of 5 businesses on Yelp, NCB was the best in every aspect. From the beginning, responding to this Yelp project (4/5 businesses did that) NCB had great communication. They gave me the lowest quote and stuck to it . (3/5 companies gave me a quote). They inspected the property before making a bid (2/5 companies saw my house). They arrived on the day agreed and called an hour before showing up. On site they answered all of my questions and skillfully worked through unexpected problems specific to my old house (1968). They cleaned up all of the mess from the work. Now I can't wait for the hot weather to try out our new evaporative cooler! read more

I had a serious issue with my tankless water heater and NCB came out the same day. Dominic was able to diagnose the problem and was on the phone with the company for at less 1/2 hour getting the correct replacement for my water heater. Luckily it was still under warranty. Dominic and Marcus were back two days later and had it installed. Marcus came back two days later because there was still air in the lines. Both guys were very professional an overall good guys. I called and was able to get an appointment to a furnace inspection and assistance turning on the furnace for the upcoming season - two technicians. arrived and said that my pump was weak and needed to be replaced but it would run slow. They were going to have the estimate to replace it and time by the afternoon. I have now made three follow up phone calls - each time it was another excuse, ----we have had to shut the system down -- So moving on to calling someone else . Lesson learned -- have them do what you need them to do all at once - you will never get a call back. read more

Just had a great experience with NCB. Marcus Chavez came to service our tank-less hot water heater - he phoned ahead to make sure that we were expecting him, confirm the time of the appt. and arrived on the dot. He conducted a full system inspection and flush and was happy to explain what he was doing and what we should be on the lookout for in order to make sure that there were no expensive repairs down the road. Called NCB mechanical after I had a problem with installation of a garbage disposal. There is a cross sink connection that was shorter on the original disposal that was not long enough for this one. After going to several supply stores couldn't find the parts I needed and besides that at my age I have a problem getting under the sink. NCB came out and Marcus did a great job. I knew what was wrong with my swamp cooler but the DIY thing isn't me, so I reached out thru ANGI and found NCB. Brandon with NCB reached out the next day and we scheduled an appointment. Miguel showed up on time which is always a plus. Within 15 minutes I had a quote which was very acceptable. Miguel had to leave and pick up the parts he needed for the repair. Between picking up the parts and installing them, Miguel may have taken an hour. Miguel is very good, efficient and quick. My cooler runs like a new one and may even be quieter than ever. They were unable to drain and refill my hot water heater because it was too old and tech was afraid the water faucet valve would break and be too risky. They were able to come out and give us a quote within a business day but when they installed the new heater, they installed it upside down and had to take it back out and return later in the day with additional gas line to make it work the correct way. They also did not install the new thermostat but instead gave it to my husband in the box and said our existing thermostat was the same so they didn't want to install the new one. Could have been more professional but we did appreciate how fast they were able to schedule us and replace the heater. read more
