Replacing appliances and decided to come here. Parking: street meter and a lot next to store. Store: clean as can be expected for this type of business. Stock: Store didn't have much to choose from. Service: Not so good. I waited for over 10 minutes before someone asked who.was next. The man who assisted me wasn't in the best of spirits because people wanted things that weren't currently available. Ooops! Everything I wanted wasn't available. Everything was on back order. I bought a "new" refridgator from the store and they were supposed to delivery but I never received a call so the next week delivery date would have been past the date I was in town. I decided to pick up the fridgerator instead and when I opened the box there was a large dent on the front of the fridge. They were willing to exchange but by that time I was leaving town and had no time to return it. I think the people are honest but the experience was very subpar. read more

Did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would do it!! Their products have never been used so even though it's a scratch and dent that's pretty new to me. So this was a plus. The sales staff was very helpful and informative in helping me make my decision. After the delivery was scheduled the delivery team contacted me well ahead of time and came very fast. We ordered a washer and dryer and the 1st time the delivery ppl came everything was fine till we did a test wash like told and then it started leaking and filling with water when no one is using it . So we called and let them know be a we paid for warranty they told us they were going to come fix the piece but end up bringing new washer instead. So when leaving taking out the old washer they broke my steps and we called the store spoke to Robert and he said they would call us back after they figure out what to do. They call us back the next day and say there's nothing they gonna do and that our house must be worn down when it's a brand new home just got done being remolding and that we are lucky that the delivery ppl didn't get hurt. Be very careful when shopping at this place. I ordered a washer and they delivered a look alike that was a smaller version. If I hadn't looked into the model numbers and known exactly what I ordered, I would have not noticed the difference. When I went in to try and see if I can exchange it, all the salesman can say was, "there's nothing I can do for you, I guarantee you it wasn't intentional". I was a bit hesitant to buy an appliance at a "scratch and dent" place. Thought that there would be some exterior damage to the product. To my surprise, the washer that I purchased from Dan, a great salesman at Robert Stevens, was perfect - not even a small scratch on it. Although the choices were somewhat limited, I found what I wanted and the price was competitive. Scheduling, delivery and installation were effortless to arrange. Robert Stevens deliver sucks!!!!!! They just came down my driveway and ripped all the cable wires down. The driver was like " did I do that" yeah you moron. When I called the Rising Sun location they wouldn't give me the owner, supervisor they just said oh well. They didn't care or want to hear it. Sratch and Dent was reccomended to me by my contractor 10 years ago and it now is my go-to place for all my appliances. I have literally fully outfitted two kitchens from here-and all GE fridges, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves...I have saved thousands. Don't be put off by the title, this is not a place of wrecked cast offs! These items are fully functioning with minor imperfections and you will find some are in perfect condition, but the box was damaged so couldn't be sold at full price. They carry a pretty extensive range of items from basic models to top of the line. You will have to select from the stock on hand at any given time, so if your heart is set on a exact model and color, you may be disapointed, but if you are flexible and frugal-this is your place. My mother got her kitchen remodeled and the contractor got her a new gas range, over the range microwave, and refrigerator all for around $1100. brand new delivered. I have been going here off and on since the early 90's. I am going to get my mother in law a gas range from here in the near future. I got a Whirlpool washer here years ago for 269. and I saw the same one at Sears for 369. It was brand new, but the box was damaged. No complaints here. read more

I searched far and wide for a good appliance place RS came highly recommended should have listened to my lady when the transaction was done she said the sales person did not say thank you. When the washer was delivered the service person could not remove the old washer for whatever reason but tried to claim a removal fee. Also they did not install anything or unlock the washer tub. So I made a call to the seller and after a 3 day wait the same repair person returns to tell me how quiet the agitator was after reminding him he never unlocked the tub or did any installation he then proceeded to correct me by saying he had done the installation i then asked then why couldn't I wash my clothes for 3 days his response was well its working now ....a week later the hoses in the back of the washer started to leak called a third time and again 3 days later a new service team showed up and told me I would have a replacement asap. The next day the original seller and the same person I spoke to all 3 times I called to complain about the constant delays tells me I have 2 options get a check refund in a week or so or call the manufacturer for service.... I then explained my 2 options were the first being a replacement, an apology for selling a POS item, and the thank you I never got when I purchased my second option would not be a check but a return to my credit card of which posted 3 days later ....bottom line Robert Stevens is ass I dont know how they got the reputation they have. The delivery person was very rude and unprofessional, as was the sales person I contacted in the store. I specifically told the person in the store that I wanted to keep and sell my old (still working) refrigerator. However, the delivery person started hauling my old fridge out. I said: "No, I want to sell it. Please leave it on the porch". He did and left, without telling me that he had removed and BROKEN the handles on my old fridge, making it unsuitable for a sale. If he had told me this, I would have asked him to take the fridge. In the meantime, a person on the craigslist asked to come and buy it for $120. However, then I discovered that the handles were broken and called the person to cancel. I called the store to see if they could at least remove the old fridge from my front door. They said that the delivery manager couldn't do anything about it, even though they made my old fridge useless and basically robbed me of $120. Now it is ME who has to pay someone else $25 to haul the fridge! I haven't seen such an unprofessional attitude in a long time. The delivery guy was black and had an attitude. If he delivers your merchandise, BEWARE! read more
