I did not want to get into a debate with Warranty, so I went ahead and made the call. First off, I was delighted to chat with Chrystal who took my call. She was cheerful, pleasant, and professional. She explained things to me concerning our situation, and made sure, that a part would have to be ordered, and that it would take 10 business days to arrive. Fortunately I have a electric skillet, and toaster oven, so "not so bad" for ten days. Sure enough we were contacted my Pedro, and we scheduled for him to show up with the part! I provided all the details, s/n. model number, etc. in the online ticket When Whitman called they said they were calling about my range. I replied no it was for a microwave in a wall oven/microwave combo. Then they asked for the model number. I gave it to them it said it was already in the ticket. Whitman blamed Frigidaire and said they do not provide them with any info. Whitman then said usually they ask the customer to remove the wall over/microwave from cabinetry. I told them the whole reason for the call was because I can't do that and need service to repair it, etc. By the 3rd day they told me they could not do the repair due to discontinued parts. I asked what part and they told me they "did not know". ????????? I called Frigidaire and they gave me the part number but it is for the entire touch panel membrane and overlay. My touch panel works absolutely fine but I have a defective door switch. that was literally in my service request. So they did not want to come because a part I do not need is discontinued. makes a lot of sense, huh? I think part of this issue is on Frigidaire because they book Whitman who are easily 2-2/12 hours from me so they naturally want to come with all possible parts. I basically had to cancel the service ticket and look elsewhere for a repair. Just read the reviews; the consistent issue is they are not good.

We are now FIVE WEEKS without a dryer, and they are telling us we have to wait for the company (LG). All of our requests for just sending a replacement for the lemon have gone unheeded. When we call Gerhard's, they just shrug. When we call the company, they either don't get back to us or set up a call and then don't class. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. We thought Gerhard's was a reputable, reliable, and honest company. IT IS NOT. Everything is fine until there is a problem. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.
