Worst place I ever got my nails done. Lisa does nails the worst she did not paint or shape my nails right than when I took them off I had bruises on my nails. I would not tell no one too go here. Acrylic white tip is what I got done. Bad shaping, chunky and not feminine. Within 2 days they were coming up at the corners. Won't go back

I go to this salon because of there choices in pedicure services and there pedicurists are excellent. I just started working in the area and was referred to them. My first visit I had my nails done by a gentleman he was very unfriendly and probably didnt say two words to me which is fine I am not there to conversate but to relax. It is the worst nail job I have ever had. I went back a second time once again because the pedicures are awesome but I got a female helen to do my nails she did a amazing job! Come to find out the unpleasant gentleman that did my nails the first time is "the owner" so the third time I went I let him do them again thinking it must have just been a fluke. Once again I got the worst even worse than the first time nail job. It has not even been a week and they are all lifting and look like I have had them for a month. Kudo's to his staff for knowing how to do a excellent job but stay away from the owner Robert! I have quit working in Lodi and live in Sacramento and would drive all the way there for there world class pedicures but my principles are going to get in the way of me paying money in "his" salon so unfortunately the wonderful ladies at that salon have lost my business. read more

Worst place in Lodi by far! Gave this place one last try since it was Mother's Day weekend and every where else was booked. My 7yr old wanted to sit in the butterfly chair...I was quickly reminded WHY they weren't booked. I just wanted a nice relaxing morning with my girl being that I'm 7 mo pregnant and can't reach my feet any longer. They charged us $60 for a 30 min pedi for the both of us. My paint job was THE WORST IVE EVER HAD. My daughter came home and repainted them for me and no joke did a FAR better job. Don't waste your precious "me" time or $ they are the worst shop EVER!!!!! It took all I had to not go back in there and ask them to repaint them for the $ I spent! read more

Terrible pedicure experience. The tech watched tv, coughed on me and smudged the polish while she put my sandals on and didn't even notice. The nail drying station seemed very dirty. I should have checked reviews and not just stopped in. I realize it's only a pedicure but if we are spending our money we should be able to expect quality service. read more

Used to go to this salon followed them to Lodi Ave from their old shop on Lockeford Street, boy did things change, they became very rude and not just the owners staff too. If you want customer service don't go to this salon. You can not relax because staff and owner are constantly yelling across room at each other very obvious that they are talking about clients. I use to go a lot last year and I think Robert is absolutely the best. But I walked in and got Lisa which I was ok about it. Lisa was too busy taking calls on her iPhone, walking out to have conversations on her phone. I'm sorry but if I spent 32 bucks for something that takes less than an hour, I expect it superb service. I asked for blue and and I got purple and she only painted 4 and didn't even ask that I wanted it changed. What gets me is she saw the picture I wanted. Next, the design looked like crap!! She must not have been happy with the look on my face and just settled for no design. Still she gets on the phone blah blahing and I'm sorry but that's beyond rude. No tip!! Keep on talking on your phone... I won't be back. Robert is the only one from there that is professional. Don't usually go into nail salons to get my nails done, usually go to a hair salon that has a nail tech there, although I've been in nail salons before. So not used to the atmosphere of a nail salon and how the nail techs only talk to each other in their native language! Am I the only one who dislikes that?! Especially when your tech doesn't talk to you the entire time.not to mention they weren't very friendly! Seems like they don't have much sense of what customer service is. Anyways I went in to get a shellac manicure and the shape of my nails is so uneven and she left them super long even when I asked her to file them down a bit. Polish job is ok. Definitely pricey for what she did. Will be sticking to my regular girl!!! read more

This is the only place I go to get my nails done anymore. I always have Lisa do my nails and she is fantastic. Her artwork is amazing, and I have never left unhappy when Lisa has done my nails. I just let her do what she wants, and they are always beautiful. That being said, if Lisa is on vacation and not there to do my nails, I would rather find some place else to get my nails done. The last time she was gone Robert did my nails. He rushed through them, they were uneven, and I was very unhappy and couldn't wait for Lisa to come back and fix my nails. So, if going to Robert & Lisa nails, I would suggest asking for Lisa. read more

I came here about a year ago and was happy with my nails, however this time not so much. The color selection is extremely limited and the initial color I chose was too light so I asked for a different color, which in turn made the lady seem like she was irritated. So Robert came over and also seemed annoyed and only wanted to apply one coat of the color and had to redo a nail that was messed up. None of the equipment looked clean and compared to a nail salon I go to in Southern California it is nowhere near as sanitary. They don't even rinse your hands or have you wash them. The color of my nails isn't what I wanted and I'm bummed I spent money here because I'll have to get them redone. read more

Omgee love this place amazing clean atmosphere .. My mother and I came in to get a spa pedi and were greeted in by all I was even hungry and the gentleman offered to pick me up something next door .. I see the attitude, the upsale ALOT! it doesnt bother me because I dont like to talk to them while my nails are getting done, plus its VERY hard to understand the english. They are pricey $30 bucks I pay to have my fills done, I go here because they use a gel coating ($5 bucks more!) and ever sience I have used them my nails DO NOT BREAK I think im going on a month and not one has broken (allthough I need my nails done BAD BAD BAD lol) I will continue to go back becasue for the money I do feel like I get my monies worth... they always take me in without appt. unlike other shops, they are well staffed. with a name like robert and lisa's nails I did think it was an american owned shop so I was a bit disapointed in that, plus they are not "local" owners they are from stockton..... given the facts as stated this is the reason for the 3 stars. As for the shop it is VERY nicely decorated and the equipment appears new, looks nice inside. read more

I went back to this shop 2 weeks ago to get my nails done. I've been having shellac nails from a place in Sacramento but decided I was tired of driving 40 minutes to have my nails done and to try this shop again. My nails looked good leaving however the tips were chipping a week after. I've never had shellac or gel chip much less a week later! She talked me into waxing my eye brows which then I asked for my entire face waxed (I just don't like the fine hairs...my face feels so smooth after being waxed)...she talked me into "threading" which she called something else since it was "much better than wax". When I got home and looked into a better mirror, there was all kinds of hair still on my face!! I ended up going to Sac and getting waxed and my nails done a week later. Save your $$$$ and go somewhere else. I didn't have the owner this time (Robert) since he was SO rude the last time I had him. I do see alot of mixed reviews ~ I WON'T ever go back!! The shop is nice however too small, it was a very crowded feeling. I had to zig zag to get from the mani station back to the waxing room since it was so narrow. read more
