The office is very clean and they make every effort to ensure that the dental experience is comfortable and as peaceful as possible. I absolutely LOVE my dental hygienist too! I will never leave this practice. They are so very thorough with the 6-month examinations (I don't have any cavities, so that's all I get). They also ensure your teeth are super strong by taking x-rays and reviewing them with you to show you any change each year. I've also had the pleasure of seeing Dr. George for a night guard - darn stressful job has me grinding my teeth - and he is very nice and professional too! I lived in DC and had terrible experiences with three different DC dentists, including one offering to give me botox during my cleaning. Um what? This resulted in me avoiding dentists at all costs. My parents see Dr. Perkins and thanks to my love for all things sugar and soda I eventually ended up in the chairs of both Dr. B and Dr. G over the last (ehhh) six years or so. Most recently...my visit wasn't by choice. A filling or something or another fell out as I was happily crunching on tortilla chips when bam I needed my first root canal. Dr. George worked me in and dealt with the situation way better than I could have imagined. I went to the root canal specialist then back to him and oddly it wasn't the terrible experience I was anticipating. Kind of weird but also kind of refreshing. I just went back for my cleaning and have an appointment for fillings. Not something to brag about but they're the first dental office that's made me feel comfortable about actually coming back!

When I lived in Wheaton, which was a lot closer to downtown Silver Spring, I still always wrote/typed Wheaton, MD 20902. I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

I started going here…read moreafter going to another dentist and they told me I needed 12 fillings done which just felt excessive. Dr. Park was honest when I came in for a second opinion and assured me that that number of fillings was not necessary and only filled the cavities that needed them. Additionally, Dr. Park has excellent bedside manner and is very gentle when doing dental work. I was very comfortable during the fillings I did have done (didn't even feel it--and i've had many painful dental experiences as a kid) and he makes sure to keep you in the loop during the process so you're not taken by surprise by anything (during regular cleanings too). He is very transparent about things that you may need to keep a close eye on and provides helpful suggestions for what you can do to prevent issues from getting further. Overall, if you're looking for a dentist to go to in the DMV area I definitely recommend the Parks!

Also her communication skills make procedures cumbersome, for example she is not good at conducting X-rays, she is silent and expects you to know she's about to toss the heavy X-ray blanket on you, and how to move your head or hold your mouth when inserting the X-ray into your mouth, then she blames her bad X-rays on the patient. Unfortunately Victoria is the only hygienist at Silver Spring Dental Arts, they do not have any other options.

I'm 64 years old and I've had as much radiation for tonsil cancer earlier in life that a human can survive. And fortunately it worked, and cured it. But my teeth were a casualty. I was told I'd have "tooth problems forever" and it was the truth. But to my immense good fortune I've found the most wonderful dentist who has cared for me and my family (and several of my friends) for years. Whatever goes wrong, he fixes it. And no matter what work has to be done, he gets it done and it's 100% painless every time. To look at my teeth, you'd never know I have chronic tooth problems because he keeps them in such good shape both structurally and cosmetically. To complicate matters, I can't open my mouth as wide as normal people can. My jaw muscles are very tight from the radiation. So performing dental work in my mouth is particularly challenging. But Dr. Liebeskind is always patient and understanding and talented enough to perform whatever needs to be done, never complaining about how difficult I make it for him. It would be fine if he wasn't also one of the nicest people I've ever met. But he is. And I wouldn't complain if he didn't have the nicest, most professional staff. But he does. I enjoy seeing them as I do old friends. I'm retired from a leadership position at the FDA where I knew countless physicians of all stripes. And then I served as a hospital VP for 8 years and worked closely with literally hundreds more doctors. I don't throw superlatives for doctors around lightly. Dr. Liebeskind is the best dentist, period. These days as I'm retired to Delaware I drive 3 hours to see him, and I'd drive farther if I had to. You don't know how lucky you are to have found him. The whole office runs like clockwork and is truly client-centric. I have never been kept waiting past my appointment in almost 10 years of patronage. I've had cleanings and fillings but mostly crowns; all feel and look wonderful. Fees are reasonable for top-notch dentistry. In fact I have dental coverage through my Kaiser Permanente health plan but have never used it since I wouldn't think of changing dentists!
