They offer free pickup and drop-off if your rugs are a certain size. Mine were just under; however, they still offered free pickup if they are close to your area for another delivery. In the end, I got my rugs cleaned and delivered back to me in about 2.5 weeks. While being cleaned, they gave me a call letting me know of some defects in one of the rugs that they could fix; however, we decided it wouldn't be worth it at the time. I would definitely trust them with any repairs however. In the end, they came back to me looking (and most importantly, smelling!) a lot better. They're not going to be the cheapest option but if you have rugs you want to make sure stay in great condition, this is the spot for you! read more

Yelpers - this is the only place in Denver you should trust your Oriental rugs for cleaning. A few years ago I had my area rugs cleaned by Coit- they came back streaky and not looking much better. I was determined this time to have my rugs cleaned by the best people I could find and I used yelp to find Robert Mann Oriental rugs. I called to set up the appointment and it was very clear the receptionist was knowledgeable about the process and very confident in their abilities and a great deal of concern was shown for my rugs. The day of pick up, the gentlemen who came carefully moved my furnishings and extracted the rugs one by one. One rug was found to have serious Moth damage and Mann took care of disposing of that ruined rug and it's pad. A few weeks later I received a call that my rugs were finished and they were brought to my home right on the scheduled time. Every single rug looked better than it did brand-new. I don't know how they did that. All of the streaky stuff that Coit had done was gone and the rugs looked and smelled clean clean clean! Mann even made me some replacement rug pads for the rugs at a very reasonable price.The same crew replaced my rugs and made sure my furnishings were carefully handled and placed back exactly where they were before. This is a top-notch shop where they show pride in their workmanship and have an amazing quality - they do what they say they're going to do and they do it very well. Found an old antique tapestry. Robert Mann's company came and picked it up and delivered it. The tapestry needed to be mended, a few holes need to be re-embroidered, and the textile thoroughly washed. Additionally, the tapestry needed to have sewn backing, so that it could be mounted on the wall. The final step was to have wooden mounts made with Velcro so the textile could be hung. From the start to the finish absolutely exquisite work and service. The tapestry is lovely, and the workmanship is perfection. I called for help regarding moth damage on my antique Oriental rug collection and the woman who answered the phone was snooty and condescending, implying I had brought the moth population to Denver, Colorado. We had a visiting cat pull some yarns out of a new wool rug. I sent a picture to the company on a Friday. On Sunday Robert Mann himself responded himself saying they could fix it, just bring it in. I did so Monday, and was promised 4 or 5 days. On Tuesday I was given a call, and picked up the rug. The charge was LESS than the estimate - unbelievable in these days. The repair was perfect, I could not find the area of damage. I will tell you what I told them - they are spoiling me, would not even let me carry the rug out to the SUV to take home, insisted on loading it themselves. Wow. Had a bad service experience. After doing some research on Robert Mann, I expected much better. To be fair, they did do a pretty good job of cleaning our rugs, however, we were originally quoted a much lower price than what the final outcome was. For a $100 rug that is 5'2 X 7'6 & another $350 rug that is 6'6 X 9'3, the total cost to clean them was $345 (I was told it would be between $200 - 250 for both). I'm sorry, but $345 for two rugs of that quality and size is astronomical. We would have been better off buying new rugs. We've gone to competitors before where the price is half that cost, & the quality of cleaning was just as good. Second issue, was that they quoted me a week to get our rugs back. They finally called me back two weeks later, with no apology. Lastly, when I called to voice my shock in the final price, I was pretty much told off and disregarded by their assistant, Joanna. She had a very smug and snobbish attitude and basically told me they can get away with charging these prices, because they have been in business for 35 years and are the best at what they do. I for one will not be using them again, and unless money is of no object to you, I would suggest looking elsewhere for your rug cleanings. read more

An expert cleaner helped me revive a needle point made by my wife's grandmother so we can hang it in our daughter's room. First he used pressurized air to blow decades of dust off. The he used a special soft rubber sponge to pull out more debris. Finally he made a fine pass over the surface with industrial "clippers" to remove the fuzz and sharpen the contrast in the stitching. And I had been planning to use Woolite.... The facility is filled with exquisite carpets with colors I have never seen. Each is handled as a precious object and I'm sure many are worth more than my car. I got to see the back of the shop where the work was done and it was immaculate.
