The carpet looked good after cleaning, but Robert did NOT offer any social distancing or COVID safety measures. He did not wear a mask upon meeting me or entering the property. When I met him, by habit I almost shook his hands. I stopped myself saying "oh yeah, we better not do this, I am still getting used to the new normal. After all, we are in a middle of an international pandemic." To that, Robert responded with his opinion of how people should be shaking hands to strengthen the immunity, questioning if pandemic was real, etc. Noticing our differences regarding COVID 19, I respectfully stated I was not interested in being educated with his opinions. He stopped immediately, and I appreciated that. I went ahead with the service because this is a rental property that is currently vacant, and the next tenant will not arrive for a whole month. But if anyone lived there currently, or if the tenant was coming in soon, for me, I would not have been comfortable hiring this company to enter my property. I realize everyone has a different opinion on this, but this information would have been very important for my decision making, so I am sharing this with you. To protect myself, I wore my mask the whole time, and I sanitized everything after he left. After the service, the carpet looked good, but he did not wear shoe coverings or floor/wall cover as he entered the property with his equipment - as other companies have in the past. It was also raining outside, and he was polite and wiped dry some of the rain water that had snuck in the door. Pricing was clear and straightforward.
