Robert, Yeh GI Doctor his office located at 259 N PecosRD STE 110 .I did not feel well with a lot of abdominal pain, nausea, cramps, a period of constipation and diarrhea. I called Doctor YEH's office who had previously done a colonoscopy I went in February 2024 and we talked about my symptoms. We scheduled an endoscopy and colonoscopy on March 8. When I returned to the office for the results, according to the doctor, everything was negative,I insisted about abdominal pain was getting worse, and I couldn't defecate properly, even after the colonoscopy everything was worse. He ordered an abdominal and pelvic CT to see if I had diverticulitis. He had the CT done at the beginning of May and when I went to get the results he told me that I had nothing that he doesn't know why I have all those symptoms and that he was going to repeat the colonoscopy in 6 months, I asked him what I'm going to do with so much pain that nothing goes away, and he told me that he really doesn't know what to say because he don't know what is my problem and he gave me a copy of the CT when I read it I see that it says that I have 3.7 cm fat attenuating nodule in the distal transverse colon at the splenic flexure likely a lipoma, I asked him what is that because it was actually located in the same place where i had the pain but he told me, listen, that's a lipoma , your pain is not because of the lipoma, I told him That lipoma is inside my colon, that's why I can't defecate, my feces are very skinny, they can't pass through there. That doctor doesn't listen, he left the office and told me that he would see me in 6 months. I want to point out that my quality of life deteriorated, I could no longer eat because every time I ate I started with cramps and diarrhea, followed by a period of constipation, weight loss, depression, I could no longer concentrate at work because I was always in pain. On October 8 I was working, I want to point out that I work at St Rose Dominican Hospital Siena Campus I started with a lot of pain and diarrhea, it was cramps that I had never experienced before and I was about to faint, I went to ER they did many tests and the ER Doctor came back to tell me that they found a very large lipoma in my colon almost the same size as the colon that was causing obstruction and that they needed to urgently call the surgeon, the ER Doctor asked me if I knew I had a tumor on the colon , I felt so helpless at that moment and I told him everything I mentioned before and showed him my CT result ordered by Doctor Yeh, which they do not understand why he did not referred me to a surgeon for evaluation. Due to the location of the lipoma they called a colon and rectum surgeon, who first wanted to do a colonoscopy on me, he found that it was a very large lipoma surrounded by a mass and that in addition I had a Micro perforation is why I was in so much pain and suffering. Due to the perforation, they put me on strong antibiotics and a liquid diet for a week because I couldn't go to surgery with an infection. I finally had the surgery October 16 , it was a very long surgery about 4 hours and they had to open my abdomen to be able to do two colon resections, one of 16 cm and another of 9.7 cm. It has been a lot of suffering, a lot of pain, I have lost 20 pounds because I can no longer eat like before, I am still in a lot of pain . I weren't able to work for a long time because it's a long recovery .
Everything would have been so easy if Doctor Yeh would have referred me to a surgeon for evaluation and not wait to have an urgent case of intestinal obstruction and perforation . I think he should be investigated because how is it possible that he did a colonoscopy and he didn't see a lipoma surrounded by a mass obstructing the colon?
How long he take to check the colon during a procedure to look for polyps or masses in the colon?
I don't recommend Dr Robert Yeh , he don't listen to the patients and he is very questionable about how he performs the procedures. Don't put your health on his hands!! read more
