9/29/2025 Do not bother trying to make an appt with Dr. Sood as her staff made it very clear she's not available at all and doesn't know when she will be working again. She has Nurse Practitioners seeing patients ( NP's are great ) however Dr Sood is listed as the IM physician to this clinic specifically under my network. Customer Service was very rushy and talking to others while assisting me and sounds like she hates her job as she tried scheduling me Dr. Jeff. Hope this helps! read more

After dropping Mrs Sood as my primary care physician I went to another doctor and he ordered tests Mrs Sood would not order for whatever dumb reason and lo and behold the tests showed some issues I had developed. Sad how Mrs Sood told me meal prep and diet was the answer when the issue was far more serious than any meal prep on planet earth could resolve. In my opinion Mrs Sood enjoys doing the least amount of thinking possible as a doctor and has blatantly went against research I've found online written by board certified doctors. Shocked! Appalled and outright hurt by the treatment provided today by Dr. Sood. In the mid 2000's she treated our parents and she was kind, professional and thorough. We were happy to have found her until we met with her again. Both my husband and were schedule to see her today.Sadly, she is incompetent and should not be treating patients in 2024. When asked a question about previous conditions she yelled at me and advised that she " did not have time for nitty gritty, she has PT at 4pm ( it was 1:50pm) and she is not the same person after her cancer!" She refused to answer my questions as she did not have time; after discussion with her Nurse it was confirmed that she was confusing 2014 data with 2024! During the visit she took a call from the Mercedes dealership calling to schedule service and yelled to the caller that she was a doctor with a patient and did not have time to talk! Why she even answered the call to begin with is beyond me. Her staff was pleasant I actually feel sorry for them; you can tell they walk on egg shells around her and are accustomed to her poor behavior and treatment of others. Dr. Seema Sood should not be practicing medicine on any living creature. It saddens me to write this as I was so happy to have found her and was looking forward to having a great experience and establishing a healthy doctor/parient relationship. I rarely make reviews but my integrity needs to warn others. Dr Sood in my opinion is absolutely abusive. I feel like I just escaped an emotionally and mentally abusive relationship. I am chronically I'll and a medical Advocate. I know how to properly advocate for care and have healthy boundaries which is a huge trigger for this office. She has slapped. my arm (yes literally slapped my arm) calling me fat when explaining my previously diagnosed lymphatic disease. She has screamed at me numerous times. I have been without medications and upon one visit she was so erratic screaming at me I got up and left as I remove myself from hostile situations. At which point she kept calling my phone leaving me messages saying "I love you" and "you will never find another Dr as good as me". These are all classic DV comments and actually concerning. She then had her front desk call me and ask me if I'm going to behave next time I come in. I put a hard stop to this and let them know numerous times I will not be gaslit. Her behavior is unprofessional and she literally does not listen will talk over and yell. She doesn't remember prior appointments. I had breast surgery last year due to extreme migraines and had open wounds on my chest and she said to put hydrogen peroxide on them which is huge no for wound care. It's difficult to get proper care in Las Vegas as this city is known for being problematic within nearly every area so I tried to hold on in hopes it would get better and from mere exhaustion battling severe illness. I finally switched to an amazing PCP who has been a god send. I also had to contact Dr Sood's office for medical records to be sent to an outside government agency. This resulted in 4 hours of email exchanges where I thoroughly explained I could not pick them up or touch them they could be mailed or uploaded to a portal via the US government agency. I was then emailed saying I'm harassing the staff for literally requesting records. This lady is insane. If you have boundaries of any kind it will threaten her. She is emotionally erratic. hitting your patient and also gaslighting sick people is literally against all medical guidelines. One of her front desk girls said if she was me she wouldn't come back. . You deserve proper care, everyone does. Leave at the first sign of this don't wait around for it to get better it doesn't. read more

Unfortunately, this office has failed both me and my husband. There are many issues here, but I guess with any business, the management should take the blame for the entire operation. For instance, upon their first meeting she told my husband that he is obese. My husband works out almost daily, can dead lift 1000 lbs, but he weighs 215 lbs. He's loaded with muscle. Anyone with their eyes open wouldn't dare call him obese. Dr. Sood literally reviewed a height and weight chart and called him obese. He said, "Are you looking at me?" Obesity is about body fat, not weight. Something is definitely wrong with her diagnosis. She also tried to prescribe heart and liver meds based on blood tests. My husband pulled up the levels online. The values were in the middle, not risk ranges. I found Sood through Zoc Doc. I was in extreme pain. I had been to the ER, and two different urgent care offices. I decided it was time to find a primary care physician. She specialized in Internal Medicine and had survived several cancerous diagnoses. I thought she might be able to help me. At my initial appointment she determined my pain was due to being a new NV resident. She said that "everyone" has allergies when they move here. I had never experienced allergic problems in my 44 years. She said she was sure of it. She said I had sneezed too hard and pulled my chest muscles causing me pain. It needed to heal. She prescribed at least four different meds and a slew of tests to find out what I was allergic to. I left the office, bought tons of meds, went in to Quest for testing... and guess what? I have zero allergies. Okay. I return. She reads me the results. She just shrugged off what she told me about the allergies. I needed her to figure out what the problem was. What is my problem? She focused on me working out for some reason. I am also in anyway near being in danger where a doctor should prescribe me a workout routine. I expressed my undiagnosed CHEST PAIN was a concern of mine. I was not and could not workout with the SHARP, STABBING pain. No answers from her. My husband comes in for a follow up appointment where she told him he needed the liver meds. The receptionist asked him how I was feeling and he said I was in extreme pain. She grabbed my chart and started discussing details with him. She suggested that I might have Acid Reflux and had I tried this medication or that. When he told me this is was not happy. I had not signed any paperwork stating that my files could be shared with anyone. Just because he is my husband there is still patient confidentiality. In addition, she is not a doctor. She has no business prescribing meds to me through my husband. I contacted the office numerous times in the past 6 months asking for solutions. Asking had they received my medical records from the ER, etc. I called the ER to complain because Sood's office said they weren't getting a reply. When I contacted Sherrie, Sood's receptionist, it turns out she was sending the request to the wrong number. I gave her the correct number. I called about a month later after having another crazy pain episode. This was last week. Sherrie told me that the hospital said they do not have any files for me "at all". What? During that call I expressed how I truly needed some resolutions. Sherrie asked me if I wanted to see a Cardiologist? I said, "Shouldn't Sood decide that?" I don't know what to do. She said she would call me back with a referral after speaking to the doctor. Later that day I drove down to the ER. I was able to retrieve my records in literally less than five minutes. I told the attendant at the hospital what Sherrie said. He claimed he never had any requests. I believe him. I immediately called the office again. Veronica (another employee) answered and I gave her my name to speak with Sherrie. Sherrie never came to the line. It's been five days. They do not know that I have my records (now they might if they bother to read this) and I still have not received a call for a referral. Do they care if I have a heart attach? Clearly not. As someone suffering with heart, lung or some sort of pain that is chronic, I would highly suggest that no one visit this office. I still cannot say what is hurting me and clearly the doctor and staff do not care. I do not believe that Sherrie put forth any real efforts to get my records. I also do not believe that she notified Sood that I wanted a referral. Sood may not know about the many times that I've called in pain. Even so, Dr. Sood is aware that I am her patient and that my issues were unresolved when she last saw me. Prescribing cardio exercise to someone with chest pain sounds like she's just winging it at this point. I'm leaving this review here because this is Sood's business and she will not be able to claim that she doesn't know about my issues even if the receptionist isn't sharing the details. She is BY FAR the rudest, most arrogant doctor I have ever dealt with. She told me she would only treat ONE illness on my visit. This is also backed up by the signs crudely taped up in all the exam rooms, stating that she can only help you with ONE issue due to recent changes in "Green Valley Primary medical care." She was focusing on my eczema when I was hoping she could check my thyroid. I asked her if she could then help my thyroid instead of devoting all her attention on my itchy feet. She then YELLED at me in the office that I was ungrateful to her for wasting her time. "Do you think it's EASY being a doctor?" As she was yelling at me, one of her nurses ran in and shut the door to the examination room, lest she frighten away all the patients waiting to get in. Three months later, today I had another appointment. We had a pleasant talk, where I told her I had changed my diet and was trying to lose weight. At the end of the visit she said "If you're not willing to change your habits I can't see you anymore. I've invested too much of my time on you!" WHAT?!! Weren't you LISTENING to me?! And have I NOT PAID YOU $150 each visit for 10 minutes of your time?! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! I will NEVER set foot in this "doctor's" office again! If I could, I would give Dr Sood 0 stars. My mom had gone to Dr Sood three times in the past for different issues and on one of her last visits, she wouldn't help her. She was eating during the visit. Super unprofessional. She had my mom do a lot of different tests and couldn't figure out what was wrong. So she sent my mom on her way. My mom ended up in the ER only for another doctor to diagnose her with appendicitis that ended up getting super infected because Dr. Sood held her up for about two weeks. I haven't been to Dr. Seema Sood in quite some time. However, I felt like I should write this review because I'm frustrated with the time spent going to her with no results. I spent a lot of time and money going to her every few weeks to hopefully sort out some major issues that I was having. Every visit she would take a ton of blood and give me new things to try. After several visits with no results, I started researching my own alternatives and asking her about them. She had a very negative attitude towards any of my ideas and actually told me that if I wanted a Dr to help me than I should let the Dr. help me. So I tried again to follow her plan but with still no results I was hopeless. At one of the last visits with her I was very distressed because my condition seemed to be getting worse and I had been following her plan religiously. She told me that if her own daughter were having these same exact symptoms and issues, she would recommend that she go to a psychologist because she felt that my issues were psychosomatic. Confused and frustrated I almost gave up and considered her recommendation. Luckily for me a friend recommended an excellent doctor (Dr. Rebecca Dempsey) and she was able to immediately help me see results. It's been about 3 years and I've never been healthier. I felt it was very important to finally write this review because under the care of Dr. Seema Sood I could very easily have ended up taking drugs and zoning out my actual issues rather than treating the underlying illness and moving forward to a healthy and happy life. It should also be noted that no matter what time my appointment was ever scheduled - I would always wait in her waiting room. Dr. Sood is one of the most caring doctors in all of Vegas. I have lived in Vegas for over 25 years, and I have been a patient of hers for over a decade now. She cares deeply about her patients, and her empathy level is very high. Seema is a cancer survivor, a single mom, and despite all her own battles, she always goes above and beyond to care for each and every patient. I guess I should have left a review a while back, but like most people, I was so happy with her service, I never thought about this. Most of us only write reviews when we have a bad experience, so I try to be active and write good reviews along with bad reviews if someone deserves it. I was writing a review for a restaurant when her office popped up on the right. When I saw these bad reviews, I was shocked, because she is a very good caring doctor!! Then I realized she has been in business for so many years, and most happy patients like me never bother to leave a review. Only a few disgruntled patients do, so I decided to write one now. I have never been to a doctor's office in Vegas where I did not have to wait!! Dr. Sood has moved her office, and gone through some employee turnovers, but my overall experience has always been very good. I don't always like what she has to say to me, but again, who goes to a doctor and tells her what to do. I am obviously there because my ways don't work. I am not necessarily a model patient, so she scolds me from time to time, but I get it. She cares about me, and my health. Steer clear, entire office incompetent as the doctor. I was told I had not been in the office since spring, and that was incorrect in which after finding my lab work found I was right. I kept trying to tell them I was in, in the summer. Then because I would not agree to having tests I did not want, I was told off. I was told I was an annoying patient and that she did not like annoying patients. I hate annoying patients like you. She told me I was stupid because I wouldn't get them. Then went on to insult me saying YOU Americans never listen to and do what your suppose to. It was the most traumatic visit I have ever had at a doctors office. It was grueling just to get my medicines filled. I am moving Doctors and I feel sick inside just to think I trusted this woman. Incidentally one appt I was there for a lab read and waited 3 hours then had to leave. they charged me anyway. It was the most uncomfortable office to sit in as well the couches are very low down to floor they had 2 small folding chairs only. Then the temperature outside was over 100. the temperature inside the office entirely was about 85 to 90. Even the staff ( who are not there now oddly) told me yes we can not do anything about the air conditioning she wont fix it. She tells people its broke. So she only has to use fans. The equipment in some rooms is so ratty and coming apart. (the patient exam tables corners are all coming apart) Seems to me like all her money has been spent some place else certainly not on office, for comfort or hygienic for patients. I wondered why she was not with a group of doctors, she is solo. I know now why she is solo, her behavior toward people is atrocious. To me I find she is racists toward the very people she is taking in as patients. When she said the American remark I was shocked. Oh and she told me she hated annoying patients like me. I remained quiet the rest of the visit as she continued to talk meanly and nastily toward me. I was lucky to get my perscriptions out of her. NEVER again. read more

Dr. Sood is a lovely lady and her staff have always been very nice to me. However, the wait times are unbelievable. I quickly learned to allow myself some time and arrive earlier than my scheduled appointment but today took the cake. I arrive half an hour prior, signed in and was left waiting for almost TWO hours. Once in the room, I was seen by the nurse first and I had to wait another half an hour to see the doctor herself. This makes it impossible to organize your day or schedule anything after as you're never sure when you will become available again. For an office that charges no show fees, I feel it's a lack of respect towards those patients that choose to give them their business and make it a point of scheduling their appointments. She did not ensure the proper testing for my father was done when he complained of neck pain for 3 months. Instead of scheduling him for scans she referred him to acupuncture and chiropractor and gave him pain meds. He had lost over 30 pounds in a few short months and could barely move his neck. He finally called 911 and was scanned and stage 4 lung cancer was found which had metastasized all over his cervical spine. He passed away 10 months later. Every visit she was condescending, rude and impatient, and not just to me but everyone - One visit (I had enough after 4) she left me naked in the cold examine room alone for an hour as they'd forgotten me during office time lunch and then at the moment of cervical exam she had her nurse suddenly throw open the curtain for more light (because their cheap inspection lamp was faulty) and it led right out to the main street of traffic, at which point I began crying and asked her to please close the window because people walking by could see in... that excuse of a "womens' physician" told me I should just grow up (I'm 50) and worse still, she didn't respect my wishes at all. Left her office in tears. She loudly asked why I stopped a medication, I had to remind her it was because she told me to stop. Office is run down and dirty. There holes in the exam table. Her medical assistant tried not to look embarrassed when she constantly corrected her. She doesn't talk to you. She just sits and types at you. I didn't get tests done because I didn't have needed tests done because I didn't want to go back to get the results and have to see her again. Look elsewhere for medical expertise. It's not Dr. Sood. If I could rate less than one star, I would. Going to this "doctor" was the worst experience of my life! Went to her for bioidentical hormones to treat my menopause after getting a hysterectomy. In one calendar year I had four office visits. Total wait time after my appointment time total a minimum of 7 hours. Total time with Dr. Sood in those four visits was about 10 minutes. She had no knowledge of my history, although it was in the chart. She spent her time talking about herself and acted like she'd never seen me before. When I told her that the prescription she'd given me wasn't helping, she told me I wasn't telling the truth. NIGHTMARE! Stay away from this place. Not only is the place falling apart with equipment and furniture taped and stapled together with a desktop stapler, but also just dirty. The examination offices are carpeted(which I thought was illegal). There's food crumbs on the floor. Dirty linens, and I don't mean stained. I mean dirty with muck and hair. I have photos of all of this. Other than the state of her facility, I found her to be extremely lacking in knowledge. Seema Sood is very far behind in current medical studies and basic protocols. She also asked me a question about one of my medications in a way that suggested that I came about it fraudulently. Very offensive. She also appeared as though she needed bathing. Dr Sood is a very nice dr and she seems to be very knowledgable but every time I've gone in I can count on waiting at least an hour and that's the shortest I've ever waited, longest was 3 hours!! That's crazy! I felt that making your patient wait that long shows no respect for your patients time and for that I think it is very unprofessional. Average wait is two hours if you're lucky! Her office looks like it's been decorated with old thrown out furniture. The exam rooms look the same and not clean. Went for appt., was told The doctor was on vacation! The young lady told me she had left a message. I told her I never received a message. Then she told me the number they had was not a good one! When the doctor gave me the results from my lab work, I felt like she was reading it for the first time! Then she still needed more lab work when I already had a $160 bill after my insurance paid! I'm a new patient with Dr. Seema Sood. As her business card says, Green Valley Primary Care is a place "Where You Feel At Home". The waiting room is a very home-like and peaceful place. Dr. Sood's staff made me feel well taken-care-of. Dr. Sood is personable, careful, and thorough. I called the office a few times with extra requests that were handled efficiently and pleasantly. I have bad "doctor anxiety" and frequently I feel like doctors can pick up on it and the more they get the vibe the more belittling they become. This makes doctor visits an ordeal that requires lots of mental preparation. Not Dr Sood, however. She was warm and understanding and she would listen to what I had to say and made notes, then asked me appropriate questions which made me realize that she was really listening. She was very informative yet frank, and had a "if I don't know it, I'll find out for you" attitude which, again, told me she wasn't just talking to get my appointment over with like I've experienced at other doctor's office. She ordered tests that directly tied to all the complaints I had, and she took the time to explain what her treatment plan for me was, and listened to my concerns. From the moment I walked into the office, everyone was really warm and welcoming. The MA was really sweet, I forgot her name, but she introduced herself and even went as far as getting some ultrasound results for me right there on the spot so Dr Sood would be able to look at them read more

I never ever write reviews, but this place is so incredibly awful i had to! First off, If time is an issue do not make an appointment here. I chose Dr. Sood because of my insurance and it was close to my house. Big mistake!!! My first appointment I had made because I needed a full physical and blood work. I waited for 2 hours before being seen. Once taken to the the back I waited yet another hour. When I was finally seen, Dr. Sood was what looked like in the middle of her lunch. She walked in to the examination room with her Jamba Juice. I understand she may not have had time for lunch, but in my eyes it was extremely unprofessional and a tad unsanitary. My poor excuse for a "physical" consisted of approximately 5 questions and her feeling my stomach. I then had to make another appt. to get my blood drawn. This surprisingly was done quickly in consideration to my 3 hour wait previously. When I came back to get the result of my blood work I was told that there were issues with my insurance. Instead of calling me before hand so that I could handle it before I came in, they thought it would be a great idea to have me drive to the office to tell me this information in which I inevitably just had to reschedule. I would never recommend this office to anyone. The entire office is outdated and seems very unsanitary. If it's possible that someone could open a practice without actually ever going to school I would say Dr. Sood pulled that off. She seems like she has absolutely no clue what shes doing. I am going to try and keep this objective and stick to the facts not get emotional because it ended bad... My initial gut feeling told me not to go here after reading several bad reviews especially about the long wait times but I decided to give it a try because I live literally next door and she has a sign out front stating she offers bio identical hormone education/treatment which is what I was looking for and so I went ahead and walked in and made an appointment. I was given an appointment a week later.Like the reviews I read said, the office is very outdated and there was literally nobody else in the waiting room when I walked in for a 1:00 appointment on a Wednesday.I waited no more than 5 minutes went in to the exam room and the medical assistant (I think she was a M.A.?) came in and starting taking more of my health history and putting it into the computer. This took about 20 minutes The MA had a friendly personality. The doctor then came in and we spoke for about 20 minutes however the conversation started with asking me if I had another primary care doctor (PCP) and I said "yes" and she said "well you can't see us both". I said "yes, I can". "My PCP doesn't treat hormonal problems so that is why I came here otherwise I would have stayed with my PCP.". She said "I think that is illegal?". I said "no, it isn't. I can go to whomever I want to see as long as they are in the network". She kept going on about how I will have to pay in cash then, blah, blah. Little flag went up in my brain after she started trying to first manipulate me into thinking I could only go to her and that I cannot go to two doctors and if I did I would have to pay her cash. I said "no, you can bill my insurance first". "I pay a lot of money for insurance and I WORK for the insurance company and it should pay for this visit", I told her. We then talked about how she was going to draw blood for lab work and that her M.A. is VERY good at drawing blood. We also talked about my cholesterol level and LDL level because I brought paperwork from my lab work back in July and they were high so she said she'll check again. I told her how I had gone on a diet since July and had lost several pounds by watching what I ate and that my levels should be down. She mentioned how she sells Red Yeast Rice and she gave me some literature on it as she walked me out of the room. I then got my blood taken and went home. I was not asked for money before I left. I scheduled an appointment before I left for three weeks away because she said she wanted to make sure the blood work was back. My appointment three weeks later was at 3:15 on a Friday. I got there and waited 45 minutes to see the doctor but there was nobody in the waiting room and the place was very quiet. As soon As I got there I did ask for a copy of my blood work and I noticed the cholesterol level was not there. I asked for a copy of it and was told "it never got done". I asked why but was never given a straight answer. After waiting for 45 minutes in a very warm exam room, the doctor finally came in. She couldn't remember who I was and asked me questions that didn't pertain to me because obviously she didn't read my chart or history before she came in the room. She talked to me about the blood work and as she was talking was on the computer as she was writing the prescription for hormones. She then concluded by saying she is charging me $150 for the visit today. I looked at her and asked why? She said that the $150 included two refills.. I asked her why, she said "I don't think your insurance will cover this". I asked her if the $150 included the medication that is I will be leaving with the medication? She said "no, you can go fill that at Partells and it is $60". I got up walked out and was not happy. I went to the reception area and was asked again for the money. I said "does my insurance not cover this visit?" The receptionist said "I don't know" I said what do you mean you don't know?" She said "that isn't my job" or something to that sort then said "I'm the only one here I can't call the insurance company for everybody!" I said, " are you going to bill for this visit?" She said "yes". I said "but you want money from me first?" I said "most places don't do this, that is they bill the insurance company they don't ask for $150 plus I said I work for the insurance company and I pay for really good insurance and I have no copay so I am almost certain my insurance will cover this visit" . The doctor came back and said that if I go to the pharmacy and the medication isn't covered then the insurance won't cover this visit. I then asked for the receptionist to call the pharmacy and ask if the medication was covered. She said "I can't do that". I said what? I just gave you $150 and you cannot make a phone call for me? She reluctantly did it but they told her they would have to see if my insurance covered it so she gave them my number after I said it was ok. She then offered me a refund. read more

I am a relatively new patient with Dr. Sood, but after my last few involvements with Mildred, I am feeling more and more comfortable and confident in my choice of medical provider. She is quite knowledgeable with regards to all things insurance related and put my momentary lapse in security to a gentle rest as she takes the time to answer questions and explain concerns. She works diligently to proffer scheduling that does not conflict with the trials and tribulations of daily life and its' demands upon said individual. I also was truly appreciative of her approach towards her co-workers. It is all to often the case that one is put into a position of authority and becomes condescending towards others, namely peers. with all things considered, it is without hesitation nor reservation that I recommend Dr. Sood and Mildred to any and all interested in procuring a genuine relationship with a primary caregiver and her most excellent staff. read more
