Accepted doctor's without incorporating them in the portal and no access to medical records. Next appointment is 2 months to monitor Critical cancer stage diagnosis. I was referred to the Chest Clinic of Northwest Specialty Care, due to an abnormal Chest CT. My…read moreinitial appointment was with Danelle Rodriguez, FNP-DNP. I was very impressed with this young woman, as she was both kind and professional. She listened very well and answered the myriad of questions I had about my diagnosis. She took her time, and I never felt rushed, nor was there any evidence that she was impatient with me, despite all my questions and concerns. She printed out my Chest CT results, as well as all of the blood tests she wanted to rule-out any auto-immune diseases, which she also thoroughly explained. Within a few days after having those blood tests run...NP Rodriquez called me to personally give me the results, and to offer suggestions for treatment, regarding the one test which was slightly elevated. Her explanations and reassurances helped to make me feel calm and confident. I explained that I wanted to confer with both my PCP and my Cardiologist, and she was very amenable to such. She reminded me of my lung function test and my follow-up with an MD Pulmonologist. As I left... I told her that I always research the Reviews of any medical professional to whom I am referred...and that ALL of hers were excellent, and after my time with her I completely understood why. I highly recommend NP Danelle Rodriquez! JoAnne Ellis

His staff and communications are absolutely AWFUL. I did tests he orders. I called to do a follow up and got "no answer, leave a message" FIVE times one day and FOUR times the next day. I left a message after each call and NO ONE returned my calls. The last message was : " I no longer want to be a patient with this doctor". Finally a monitor, not at the office but some "service", called to schedule an appointment. I asked, if they did not get my message. No! After explaining my concern they just said thanks and hung up. I would not be a patient with Puri. I will find another pulmonary doc.

Our Internist referred us to Dr. Puri; he examined my husband and ordered tests. The result, it turned out, is treatable and curable. Throughout Dr. Puri was more than competent and personable. He was able to explain what was going on in terms that were comprehensible to the lay person. We would recommend Dr. Puri to anyone who needs to see a specialist in this field. And, in addition, the office is beautifully and tastefully decorated with painting by his daughters. Such a relief from all the bland, same-same doctors' offices that one is subjected to these days.

I called yesterday and spoke to Dr. Adras medical assisstant (wish I knew her name) she is one of the rudest people I've ever been around. She acted as if I was bothering her and was in a hurry to hang up. I told her I wish I didn't have to call I'am only calling because I'm sick. She is in the medical field and I'm sure was taught about caring and being nice. When I said I need more than the cough meds precribed to me when I saw the doctor on the 10th, she said she would send him a note. I explained I have a fevor, headache and chills. She said she (again) would send a note. In a singsongy voice she said ooookkkay, and hung up on me.

I didnt tell them until I went to check out I was a retired LRT.. so I know that wasn't a factor

They're constantly saying they didn't receive referrals when they simply just don't care to look in the right places. They were supposed to call me back and they never did. They constantly transfer to other people (who also don't know what they're doing) 3 referrals had to be sent and then finally they find them and they won't schedule my daughter properly and tell me they can't just go off what I've been saying to schedule her sooner BUT don't care to look in her records to see that the ICU wants her seen within a week. My daughter was supposed to be seen last week this is how long this is taking. They refuse to schedule her any sooner then 2-3 months out....after being in the icu. Maybe it's time to hire some people with more experience and who know how to use an EMR, make a phone call, take there job seriously and actually want to help people. Especially people who are in need of seeing a pulmonologist. Update: they called me to accuse me of telling my PCP doctor that they were refusing me care. which I didn't. What I did tell my PCPs medical assistant was that they said they could schedule her any sooner, they were pretending that she only sent 1 referral and giving me attitude about it, and if she calls them back to talk to them to tell them that they're fucking lazy. I'm so glad I didn't go here especially since they consistently lie to try and cover their asses. Also I got an appointment next week with a different pulmonologists office who are professional and organized.
