Thank you Tracey , once again you have transformed my hair into something beautiful. You are an artist. I feel twenty years younger.

I had a Brazilian blow out yesterday with Elliana and I couldn't be happier. It was a great experience. She's kind knowledgeable and considerate. I have two tricky cowlicks and 24 hours later I still don't have them! In all my Brazilian blowouts at other salons that has never happened. My hair is smooth and shiny and I am thrilled. read more

No response back after leaving a couple of messages last week to book an appointment. Would have been more professional if there was a call back or a VM that said you're closed for the week if that's what the issue was. read more

I missed an appointment I had made due to an emergency. I called 30 minutes later to inform them. Called to rebook just now. They need me to pay a $95 missed appointment fee. Immediately NO. Boston salon's don't even charge that much. All set. Will take my business elsewhere. read more

Robert Jason Salon provided such a great experience from the moment I walked through the door this morning!! I was I offered caffeinated beverages and sparking water right away, and the room was filled with bubbly conversation making it feel like a little community. I went in with vision and my stylist, Alisa MADE. IT. HAPPEN. She heard me out, gave me some options, and made the whole thing feel totally no-pressure...and if you've ever gone into a salon for a different look, you know the nerves can get to you! Alisa really knows what she's doing! My color and cut are both amazing, I've received so many compliments. 10/10 would recommend! read more

i had one of the worst nights in my family as I lost two of my brothers. Robert reached out to me and literally listened, giving me a virtual hug and understanding the pain and grief I was feeling . He was compassionate and empathetic and I felt like I had a new home. That understanding showed me more than just the talents that obviously this team possesses, it is that care and true respect that makes all the difference in how you feel on a good day or sadly, a horrific loss of a day . This is a team that goes the extra step. You should too read more

I had a wonderful experience with Robert at the salon! My haircut and color was perfect and I left very happy. He was very personable and took the time to listen to what I was looking for , but most importantly offered his expertise and advice. His staff was super friendly and accommodating. As for COVID 19, I felt very safe, not only was the salon clean but partitioned off seamlessly. read more

I love Tracey .....her haircuts and hair styles are amazing. Robert and his staff are all terrific....

$50 for gel manicure! I might have gone for $35. I expect $50 on a cruise ship. You must be joking

I have been a client of Robert's for many years. I was very pleased when he opened his own salon because I knew that he would insist on providing up-to-date services from a friendly, welcoming staff, I have not been disappointed. I have never left without being completely satisfied with my hair cut and color. It has also always been enjoyable. I can't imagine going any where else. Mikayla does my color and Robert does my cut and blow-dry, but as I look around, I don't see anyone not getting top-notch service. Highly recommend Robert Jason Salon In Andover. read more

I called the salon the morning of for a new look and they were able to get me in that day. Alisa L cut & colored my hair and did an amazing job! I've only had my colored a few times at other salons and the hairdressers at those salons did not do quite what I had asked for, but Alisa looked at my picture inspiration, explained how she'd do that for me, and reassured me that it could be done...and it was. And I LOVE it. I'll be back in a few months for a touch up for sure!! Highly recommend Robert Jason & their professional/friendly staff!! read more

Helen is simply the best. I recently moved back to Andover after being in SF for 4 years. In SF I had a hairdresser who I absolutely LOVED - and let's get real - once you find a hairdresser you love-- you would be willing to do anything to keep the relationship! For a second I thought "could I make a monthly trip out to SF just to get my hair done?" but the rational side of myself kicked in and said absolutely not - ha. Needless to say - I went to a few salons in downtown Andover only to be disappointed with style and service. That is when a friend suggested I go see Helen at Robert Jason. My first experience with Helen was lovely - she listened to what I had to say and made suggestions that she felt would be best for my hair. I also recently became very passionate about toxic free beauty - and I had found a hair color line that I wanted to use. Since it was professional use only - Helen had to call and order it on my behalf. Where most salons might not want to do this for their clients - Helen and Robert (the owner) graciously granted my request. Also - I have long hair - down to my derriere (ha!) - and I've always been paranoid because stylists love to CHOP off a ton at once when I simply want a "trim" - not the case with Helen-- she takes just enough off the lengths to keep my hair thick and healthy but not too much at all. I am so glad to have found my new hairdresser and hair salon!!!! Go see Helen - you will not be disappointed !!!! read more

The beauty bar is the best- as is the salon next door! The staff are friendly and the ambiance is second to none. I love the vibe in there so much that I hate to leave. I should add that the nail technicians are highly competent. I see Lisa and she does a great job! Additionally, the products are sublime. My final comment is that it is very clean and hygienic. Highly highly recommend a mani or pedi at this top notch business! read more

I'm surprised by all of the positive posts for Robert Jason Salon. I went there several times within the first year it opened, but haven't been back. I tried it because it was local and reminded me of my old salon in Acton -- which I learned was because the same designer fashioned both interiors. While I liked the cuts that Robert (called "Bobby" back then) gave me, I was dissatisfied with one of his color treatments -- moreover, his response to it. I had cautioned Robert that my hair had not responded well to color in the past. He assured me that his products were of the highest quality, that he did not share my concern, and that my "mousey brown hair," as he called it, needed a boost. I agreed to proceed with his recommendation and let go of my concern. While the treatment resulted in a fabulous hue, it left my hair dry and brittle. When I went back a couple weeks later to show Robert what I was dealing with and ask what I could do to resolve it, he looked me straight in the eyes and said, "A baseball cap would work!" He chuckled aloud, as did the minions surrounding him. I, on the other hand, did not. What upset me most was not the state of my hair, but Robert's cavalier and thoughtless response. It showed me that while he may have the talent to give a good cut, he doesn't have the maturity to deserve my business. read more

So let me start this off by saying that I am kind of a men's haircut snob. I frequent salons looking for a good haircut and have been to most of what Andover has to offer. Robert Jason is BY FAR the best place around. The folks at the front were very friendly, I was welcomed and felt right at home. They offered a drink and I had a seat for about a minute before I was greeted by the person who washed my hair. She was incredibly friendly and passed me off to my stylist Stefanie. Stefanie gave me without a doubt the best haircut I have had in ages. She was very thorough, made sure that we agreed on what the final product would look like and then started working. She was super friendly we had a great conversation and at the end, I looked in the mirror to see this absolutely fantastic haircut. I will absolutely be going back to Robert Jason and highly recommend Stefanie to anyone looking for a great men's cut. read more

To state from the outset, I had a bad experience here. Not a bad outcome, my appointments yielded good results, but the owners attitude is just too much to be believed. I had been going there for years/ In this time I saw several staff, whenever one of the staff seemed to get too much of their own following.... poof gone. When it became a choice between Robert or "the newbies" I started seeing Robert. Despite the painful attitude, he did a nice job. But OMG you need earplugs. He is just so full of himself. He treats his staff like dogs. Eventually he started treating me like a dog. I just do not understand how the place gets 4 stars. Robert, I also noticed that you challenge all negative reviews. But they all basically say the same thing... It's probably worth some reflection. read more

Since I moved to the Merrimack Valley, I've been slowly transitioning my life over to businesses in the area. Finally, I got around to trying a local hair salon. My mom happened to get a coupon for Robert Jason Salon and tried it out. She loved it. They gave her a "refer a friend" card, and so she gave it to me. I'm always nervous about haircuts since the disastrous cut of 2006 that left me in tears. But, Robert Jason was a welcome relief. Super friendly staff, great vibe and music, and sleek design. Though it was super modern, I felt comfortable. It didn't feel stuffy. I was worried I was not trendy enough to be there, but that was not the case. The haircut was exactly what I wanted. My stylist was young and friendly -- a little quiet -- but very nice. I'll definitely go back. read more

This was an AMAZING experience. I went to get my nails done with my bridesmaid before my wedding and (1) it was the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to, (2) the women were so so so nice and accommodating and (3) it was so cute and small and felt like a private experience. My nails look great and I will absolutely be coming back again. read more

Robert Jason Salon - Thank you for the help and giving me extra confidence to have my photo taken! - Hair Salons Near Me - Andover, Massachusetts

My husband found this salon by searching online reviews. I'm always complaining about my hair so he made me a hair appointment for my birthday present. We live in NH, however the reviews are what brought me here, and I'm so happy they did! I got a foil, glaze, cut, wash and style with Robert. My first impression of the salon was it's very hip, clean and the decor is gorgeous. The staff was super friendly! Robert was fantastic! I love my hair color and cut so much!! When I get ready now I'm not stressed as my cut flows beautifully! I felt like I was in a reality tv show for a makeover. I had two gentlemen blow drying my hair at the same time and stylist were learning from Robert. Definitely worth the drive and will go back!!! read more

Just got a Brazilian blowout...best I've ever had!!! Over the last 10 years I've gotten this treatment 8 times at different salons in Andover and North Reading and this is far and away the best! Extra high marks for being so 'covid responsible' and making me feel completely safe. read more

Walked in with a bob. It fell under my chin and 1 1/2" shorter layered in back. Well!!!! McKayla 'cleaned it up' making it all one length around my head. Robert Jason tried to fix it. Stefanie is my hero! My first visit to the salon today and Stefanie worked her magic on my hair. She listened closely and offered her ideas in a spirit of creative collaboration! Absolutely love this salon. Joe is my stylist and he takes such good care of me. My hair looks fabulous and he really takes the time to figure out what I want and to execute it accordingly. Robert Jason Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Andover, Massachusetts

Being a new Andover resident, one of my first impressions was how much I loved the town center. I remember window shopping my way through to learn my new neighborhood and seeing this eye catching, attractive salon right in the heart of it all. My only regret is waiting this long to finally experience Robert Jason salon. My five star review begins the minute my call was answered with a smile to book. The excitement felt on the other end when I shared I would be a new client and the sense of urgency to fit me in with the next available appointment when it worked with my schedule. Lucky for me it was next day at 8am! The luck continued when I was paired with Tracey to give me the hair rescue I needed today. I immediately felt comfortable sharing what I wanted and leaving it up to her. She was so sweet, welcoming and fun, making it obvious I was in good hands. I love that she kept the length but made it healthy, adding beautiful long layers. I am a happy customer and I look forward to all my future visits here. Thank you! -Jenna read more

The stylist did a good job at getting close to my scalp for highlights but I was exceedingly disappointed at the salon's lack of consultative skills. My first cut there is best described as a "drive-by" not a hair cut. To their credit, I went back a couple of times to correct the cut, but !! I should not have to bring in a picture from a glossy magazine to have a consult prior to a cut with a new stylist/salon. Incidentally, I had my hair cut on Newbury Street for 7 years without this issue. The cut is certainly better now, but after significant follow-up. Front desk is great. Staff friendly. read more

Mikayla is amazing! Yesterday was my first time to the Robert Jason Salon. The salon was amazingly clean and beautiful. I was greeted at the front desk by a friendly receptionist. Upon meeting Mikayla I was given a tour of the salon and introduced to all its employees, including the salon owner. It was almost like they were welcoming me into their house. Mikayla gave me highlights and a cut. She did a great job with the color. Her foils left my hair looking like natural highlights vs the chunky highlights I have received from other salons. She used several different techniques (that I had never seen before) to cut my hair. My hair looks great thanks and I cant wait to go back. read more

Nice place but color is ridiculously expensive.

I love this salon. I think I've tried every salon in Andover and surrounding over the years and never found the right fit until Robert Jason. The place is immaculate, design is funky modern and the vibe is great. You can tell that the people who work there like working there and like eachother. They're always collaborating on color options and the like. The front desk service is personable and professional. And last but not least, they do an amazing job with cut and color. I go to Melissa but I have friends who've gone to Robert and Leah, and I've seen the work of Stef & others - really all quite good. read more

The whole staff is extremely nice & welcoming. They even follow up to make sure that you're satisfied with your hair. The interior is modern and chic. I had a demi-glaze with Ashley, who was very friendly and helpful. Although the color that I ended up with was a bit more vibrant than I had imagined, it was a beautiful color and i received many compliments. I also took advantage of a promotional offer, so I got a pretty good deal on what would have been rather expensive. read more

Love this place. Literally took me from "drab to glam" in the matter of an hour and fifteen minutes. I first went here with a mothers group outing and felt so pampered and spoiled.
