I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Dr. Naples' practice makes a horrible, painful experience pleasant and that is no small feat. This office is the filet mignon of oral surgery practices. My daughter had been seen by six other providers with a very complicated surgery case and we just kept getting the run-around. When we met Dr. Naples, both me and my child were SO frustrated and had lost all hope. Dr. Naples was so incredibly kind. It's sad to say that, at least in the dental/oral surgery/orthodontic field, common sense rarely applies. I felt like prior to Dr. Naples, we had been treated like an ATM and expected to spit out cash for sub-par service. Not at Dr. Naples practice. The exam rooms and waiting area are calming, comfortable, and appointed with amenities. But the staff is where it's at! They are all so compassionate, caring, and professional. Seriously top notch. The procedure went perfectly and my daughter was so impressed with all the staff that worked with her. When I was in my 20s a young dentist tried to do a root canal and completely demolished my front tooth. I had a bridge for a long time. After a long while, Dr Naples did a bone build up. After that was a success, he did 2 implants. Then I had a prosthedontist make my permanent bridge. They were 2 professionals working together and it worked out great. Before I knew better, I had cheap doc in a box chain dentists do incomplete root canals that had to be redone through my gums by an endodontist. I had bad crowns with bad margins. So I had to have them remade. Get a good dentist and a second opinion. It's worth it. Dr. Naples had to do a bone build up. The implants he did after that have lasted. I know I had them around 2006 when my kid was young. And the Austin prosthedonist he worked with made the bridge solid. My crowns done by doc in the box chain dentists have been a mess and had to be replaced. My usual dentist checks the status of possible bone loss and the implants are still solid and strong. I feel very thankful that that the bone build up and implants Dr. Naples did are still doing great. There is no sense in paying those high prices for implants that crumble and don't last. I am sure he is a good Oral DDS but unfortunately for me... he and his entire staff made me feel like all they wanted to do was increase their sales. In spite of COVID 19 he scheduled me for an appointment to extract a tooth and because it was badly infected have to wait it heal to get the implant. I was rather apprehensive about being referred to an oral surgeon because I knew I would hear bad news about my two front teeth. I did learn that I would need major surgery, BUT my fears were pretty much put to rest. Heather took x-rays and discussed extensively my problem and the best way to solve it. At least I knew what I was facing, now. Enter Dr. Naples. I was very impressed with his profession manner and his explanation of how he was going to handle my case. It's important to trust and have faith in your oral surgeon, and I do. Otherwise, I wouldn't have made an appointment to have my problem corrected. His insurance advisor and scheduler, Diane, was also very knowledgeable and professional. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Naples and his staff. !!!!!!! WARNING!!!!!!!!!! I took my 14 year old son here to get a tooth exposed. During consultation Naples told me what a great time it would be to go ahead and take out those wisdom teeth Because he said they are nowhere near the nerve and the older he gets this would change. So hey he's a professional ( so I thought) I said if that would be best go ahead. 6 months later my sons tongue is still numb. Not even going to list the difficulties he has had. So today we went in to talk to naples. To my surprise he enters the room so cocky and mad says what's going on when we told him my sons tongue is still numb he looks at my 14 year old and says who cares it dosent matter. My son said it bothers him, naples replied what is it effecting you kissing girls. Continues on to try to tell my son he probably doesn't even care his tongue has been numb for 6 months it just bothers his mother. My son was so shocked, I was shocked and his nurses was shocked. As naples sat there with a big evil smirk on his face. Please save yourselves from this heartless man. Sure he might seem nice at first, but when he damages you or makes a mistake. He will by no means take responsibility and try to help you. His response will be who cares if I've damaged you. My son left traumatized by this phyco. Absolutely amazing doctor and staff!!!! I had a horrible tooth infection that spread from an old root canal to a wisdom tooth. I did not know until it was very bad because no nerves were in the root canal. I was in severe pain and every surgeon I contacted was booked up for weeks. I reached out to Dr Naples and got in very quickly. I am very anxious with having medical procedures done, but I was in horrible pain. Yesterday I had surgery and I am feeling 100% better! Everything I love about my dentist Dr Teri Gaddy in Round Rock, I love about Dr Naples Dr Naples' state of the art facility is convenienty located off 620 near I35, and their entire team is professional, efficient and kind - it is obvious they take pride in what they do! Due to a cancellation I was given the opportunity to come in a week early for my wisdom teeth extraction consultation (and a molar, it turns out) and was scheduled for surgery for the following week. Because of a "life happens" multi year delay between seeing Dr Gaddy for our "game plan" for my dental procedures, and my surgery consultation for tooth extraction, Drs Gaddy and Naples took the time to discuss my questions and concerns over the phone using the consultation scans, and I went in to my surgery knowing we all three were on the same page. My pre and post surgery medications were called into my pharmacy well ahead of time, and the staff handled my in-chair pre-surgery anxiety with kindness and patience. Dr Naples himself came out to talk briefly with my spouse after the surgery, answering his questions and making sure my spouse was clear on my after care needs. I can't recommend Dr. Naples and his team highly enough! I wish I could add a few stars over five. My daughter was having jaw pain and needed her wisdom teeth removed. She was terrified, as many of her friends had negative experiences with other oral surgeons and had scared her. From beginning to end we had the most wonderful experience. All of our correspondence prior to the surgery was smooth, and they worked to help us find the best financial plan for our family. On the day of the procedure, each person was professional, welcoming and calming. My older daughter had already had the procedure with a different doctor, and it went well, but still this was above and beyond. My daughter was treated so compassionately, and the office setting is beautiful and comfortable while I waited. The procedure was quick and personal; she was sent home with a cozy blanket and a bag full of things to use to take care of her mouth. When we had questions a few days after surgery, they responded quickly on the phone and even had us come into the office to take a look right away to put our minds at ease. I am very choosy about recommending professionals to others, but I feel completely safe recommending Dr. Naples and his team. Just had my wisdom teeth removed here... It was as good of an experience as it could get I guess. Really nice staff, explained my issues and options really well, and took their time with me. Had some great scanning equipment that showed my whole face and teeth in 3D, so we could look at the situation and plan for removal. Gave me some good meds and don't remember anything from the surgery, but followed up with me well and all is good now. (Still healing.) Certainly have and would recommend them. I am still in the process of recovering from my surgery today but couldn't wait to post. I was referred to Dr. Napels by Balcones Family Dental (I've also revived them!) and couldn't have been happier. He got me an appointment quickly even though he was booked solid from spring break because he understood that waiting with pain is a terrible option. During my consult, he was reassuring and because I have terrible anxiety, only told me what he absolutely had to so I wasn't overwhelmed with details. I got all four wisdom teeth extracted- 2 that had fully erupted, one that had just pierced the gum line, and 1 that hadn't erupted yet. Somehow I am in MINIMAL pain. Dr. Napels is so skillful, the whole procedure was leaps and bounds better than I could have been hoped for. When my mother called him panicking (after hours on a weekend, I might add) about my blood not clotting, he walked her through a solution and calmed her (and me) down. The clot had formed within half an hour of his advice and he texted us to check up as well. He and his team are angels and while I hope to never NEED to see him again, I wouldn't trust any other surgeon with my mouth! read more

Dr Naples appears very knowledgeable and caring. Unfortunately did not have a good outcome. When there was a problem with the graft, he only had a technician available to see me since he was out of town. Not only did the grafts totally fail, they never documented the pre-op findings. I better have no pain or discomfort after this procedure, because I'm still waiting on the lobby over an hour after my designated operation time. I was told by the doctor to take a pill an hour and a half before my operation (before I arrived). Since I've been waiting over an hour in the lobby, I'm pretty sure that was a waste of a pill and money for me. Appointments are made for a reason. If your business cannot accommodate the schedule you set up, it might be time to rethink how you schedule. I was told that the dentist is a "perfectionist". Why wouldn't you plan on him being a perfectionist with your scheduling??? So annoyed. read more

Everything was fine until there was a problem, then Dr Naples became very hostile and did not want to accept any responsibility for the complications we had. He came into our appointment acting very defensive and accused me of looking for conflict. His staff does his post op visits and the gal that conducted ours was completely unprofessional and did not seem qualified. I believe that if he would have inspected his own work, the complications could have been prevented. He made fun of the seizure my daughter had, crossing his eyes, mimicking a convulsion and laughing afterwards. Also, he winked at my teenage daughter multiple times while berating me for questioning him. We both felt very uncomfortable with that. And now I question whether she was safe with him while under anesthesia. My daughter left his office completely traumatized. I've never been treated this way by any other medical professional.
