I have nothing but praise for the ladies of OfficeTeam/Robert Half in Pleasanton, CA. My Recruiter is Michaela Rivas. Let me sum her up for you. She is amazing! During the course of my interview (as well as the subsequent follow-ups), I found her to be professional, thorough, and engaging. She took her time to get to know ME-- not just my past work experiences. We discussed my background as well as my current career goals so that she could find the right fit for me. Our meeting was a like a breath of fresh air for me. She was working hard on my behalf almost immediately and the same goes for her wonderful colleague Nicole Sher. I was quickly placed into a temp/temp-to-perm position that is allowing me to further develop my skills and gain experience in my industry of choice. I am floored by how quickly I found myself with a job assignment and it is very much appreciated. Whether I land something permanent in the near future (that's the goal of course) or find myself in need of another great temp-to-perm opportunity, I know Michaela Rivas will be the one I turn to. She is the kind of hard-working advocate that you want on your side-- she seems to do right by her clients (finding the right candidates) and sincerely wants her employees to thrive and succeed. Can't thank Michaela and Nicole enough. Thank you, OfficeTeam!!! read more

I recently moved to the East Bay Area and was looking for opportunities in the area for almost a month. I was starting to get a little discouraged until Richard from OfficeTeam reached out to me to do a quick phone interview. I had never used a staffing agency before nor had I never heard of OfficeTeam so I was a little hesitant. However, Richard was very informative and put my worries at easy. Not only does this branch have some of the most professional staff that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, but everyone there cared about placing me in the opportunity that not only fit my needs but the needs of the employer they were placing me with. The whole team went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely aware of what to expect and what the job entailed. It is extremely rare to find a company that goes above and beyond not only for their employees but for people they barely know. All and all I was placed in a position about a month ago and I am extremely satisfied not only with the position but the environment and the company that I am working for. I would definitely recommend OfficeTeam to my friends and anyone who is looking to be placed in either a temporary or permanent position. I completely agree with Pamela, the staff here is AWESOME!!! read more

I interviewed with three people when I went in for my initial interview. They all told me what a great candidate I was and they all seemed very impressed with my accounting background at a Big Four firm that I had recently been laid off from. I had been making well above $25/HR and for the first month they only called me about $15/$16 an hour positions, which I turned down. They finally called me about a position that was in my salary range and after an interview with the company, I determined that the company was not going to be the best culture fit (we had discussed what type of office culture I was interested in during the interview). When I shared my feedback with my recruiter, she told me how disappointed she was because this was such a great opportunity and she didn't think she could work with someone who doesn't know a good opportunity when it comes along. Randstad Professionals called me the following week with an opportunity paying the same as Accountemps at large accounting firm, I interviewed and they were able to negotiate a salary $15K above what I was making at the Big Four firm. I wouldn't recommend Accountemps to my worst enemy, they are unprofessional and go out of their way to make you feel bad. read more

I work for Office Team of Pleasanton and they work for me! I was recently laid off and looking for administrative support opportunities. So I registered with a few staffing agencies and was really surprised to find how much each agency differed. Although I have over five years' experience and a bachelor's degree from University of San Francisco, Office Team of Pleasanton was the only which showed any interest in my candidacy. The recruiting team, Marina, Richard, and Leslee contacted me for an interview, tested my software skills, and put me to work in a temporary position within a few days. As soon as my assignment was over, Marina Omar was on the hunt for a new opportunity for me. Unlike the other agencies with which I registered, Office Team of Pleasanton is very much interested in putting me to work again! The staff works in collaboration, so if I have a question, I can always get one of the recruiters to give a swift response. What's more is that Office Team has agencies around the Bay Area, so registering with one branch gives me access to a wide range of open positions. I thank Marina and her colleagues for their dedication and passion for matching my skills to open positions with decent pay! read more

I do not normally write a review on yelp, but Accountemps is worth writing a review. First I will definately recommend Accountemps to those in need of assistance in finding opportunities. Please ask for Kristy, she is extremely professional, the most kindest person I've met and she is more than happy to help. This was my first time getting involved with temporary staffing, and Kristy, Richard and Marisol has been a great help from the start and has been informative from the beginning. They are extremely professional and genuine in assisting their clients. Since it was my first time, I was very skeptic, and was not sure if I had made the correct decision. And of course, I did. In less than a week of me working with them, I was assigned to a position in my field, and in less then a month on that assignment I was offered a permanent position with them. Like I said, they are very professional and genuine in what they do. If it is your first time or multiple times joining a temp agency, rest assured, your are in great hands with Accountemps. -Maria read more

Accountemps has been a wonderful & amazing experience for me as an accountant. I first contacted them right after college back in 2005 & connected with Amelia Bernal who placed me in a position that took me from Temp to Hire & simultaneously advanced me to a higher position. She has always been attentive, proactive & a joy to work with. Recently I entered back into the corporate arena & they once again were my first call to make this happen. I've connected with Tina & she has been amazing to work with. Every request was met & she placed me in a position that I could not say no to in just a week! Amelia & Tina have been exceptional & exceeded my expectations. If your looking for an agency that will look out for you & make sure your happy as a working professional this is the place. I've dealt with them for over 10 years, placed in several positions & advanced in my career because of the opportunities presented and I was always honest about what I wanted. I absolutely love working with this great team! read more

I reached out to Accountemps after having been laid off from my Staff Accountant role. I'd never worked with a staffing agency before so I was a little apprehensive. The recruiter that I met with told me that I was being extremely overpaid for my qualifications and that what I was asking for compensation wise was unreasonable. I accepted her opinion as her opinion, the interview concluded and I went about my day. Later that day I received a call from a Big Four accounting firm who had been referred my information from my previous employer, I interviewed and have now been working at the Big Four firm for almost a year. I am making almost double what I was at my last position and have already been promoted. I wouldn't recommend Accountemps to anyone, their recruiters clearly do not come from accounting backgrounds and have not been trained on how to communicate professionally with candidates they sought out. read more

They are the best!!! I came across OfficeTeam in Pleasanton by their Yelp Reviews in January. When I first talked to Leslee, I knew I picked the right place. She was very professional and walked me through some steps before coming in to the interview. I was looking for full-time administrative support positions and was re-entering the workforce after a 10-year absence. When I came in for the interview, Leslee was very helpful in giving me some advice with my resume and also offered online training to improve my skills. She listened to me and was able to find the right fit. She found a temp job for me very quickly and checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing. After one month of working on the temp assignment, I was offered a full-time position. I am very happy with my new job and thank Office Team for all their help and support. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Accountemps in Pleasanton/Walnut Creek. During my tenure of working with them, I was recognized for the core skills I brought to the table and was placed at a client site within a few days. I had a pleasure of working with Jeff Kim from the Pleasanton/Walnut Creek office. He is an extremely talented individual who kept me informed at every step of the recruitment process. He is extremely professional, talented and has excellent communication skills. He analyzed and valued my skillset and helped me to transition to my new role within the organization. He also followed up with me when I was at the client site to ensure I was comfortable in my new role. I have worked with a lot of recruiters in the past, and Jeff Kim is hands down the best! read more

The overall professionalism and courtesy I received from Accountemps has been refreshing and consistent. As a senior looking for employment, I tend to run into a lot of younger, disrespectful, unprofessional people. The atmosphere at Accountemps in Pleasanton has always been cheerful, energetic and a positive influence for me. I'd like to give a special thank you to Nelvin Moss. Mr. Moss not only went Above but also Beyond the call of his duties to assist me with a situation which needed a-hands-on approach. I have only had one assignment so far with this agency and it was a learning experience for me. I have faith that Nelvin and his associates will find a home for me soon. If you're looking for employment it can become overwhelming. Sign up with Accountemps, let them help you. read more

Accountemps team has been amazing! I was not sure what to expect from temporary staffing opportunities but not only has it grown me professionally it has also grown me personally. It has been challenging to find work let alone one that fell in to my area of interest and Kristy, Nelvin, and Jennifer worked tirelessly to find me my last few assignments. I am truly blessed, they treated me like family. They were always calling in and checking up as well as informing me of opportunities and helping me along with my interviews. I was not sure what type of career path would be right for me but with my last few assignments I was able to take on a variety of roles differing from the previous which was great. I am excited for further assignments! Thank you Pleasanton Accountemps team! read more

Everyone in the team at Accountemps is awesome. They really take the time to get to know the candidates, the experience they have, and what they want in a position. My experience with other agencies has been either a) they don't care to listen to what you are looking for and it is all about placing you in any position fast or b) you don't never hear from them. Accountemps never lets you feel forgotten, constantly seeking work opportunities for their candidates. They care about placing you in the position that is the best fit, and they follow up with you once you have started work to make sure everything is okay. They have successfully placed me at several temporary assignments, and one that turned into a permanent position. I would recommend them every time! read more

I'm currently employed at Robert Half and I have to say that the interview process was phenomenal. I had been on the job search for nearly 9 months and had interviewed at nearly a dozen companies prior to accepting an offer here. From the initial phone screen with Kevin Carey to the interview rounds, I was thoroughly impressed. Kevin was so on top of keeping me in the loop every step of the way and I really felt like he was going to bat for me. My interview with Maxime and Alice was so enjoyable and warm. I even really enjoyed the take home interview as well and felt like it was structured perfectly for the role. I'm moving into my second week as a Marketing Web Developer I and would highly recommend Robert Half to anyone seeking a new and exciting position. read more

Amelia was amazing times two! This is the second time Amelia has placed me in a position. This time I landed a corporate position and I could not be happier. Amelia takes the time to get to know her clients on a personal level that enables her to not only place you in the correct position, but more importantly, with the right team. I would recommend Accountemps to everyone and anyone who thinks there are no positions out there. Remeber they are not all temporary positions, there is so much opportunity out there, and Amelia is amazing at finding all of those opportunities for you. Amelia turned a very stressful and uncertain time, into the best opportunity I have ever had. Many thanks to he,r and her team for al they do everyday! read more

OfficeTeam Pleasanton should be reported to the BBB. The two/three women that make up the group are all unqualified and just simply want the money.I have had three of my close friends use them. There are plenty of other services such as, http://www.kellyservices.com/web/global/services/en/pages/index.html and http://www.appleone.com/ that are far more qualified to review your resume, provide you with in depth insight on how the economy is doing, and just general help with actually landing a position. All of my friends found them to be unresponsive, uneducated and just want to get their quota of getting people in the door. There are plenty of other alternatives in the Dublin/ Pleasanton area. Don't go here. read more

I started working as a Technical Support Technical Writer during Covid. Initially I was hired as a contractor but after 6 months, was converted to a full-time employee. I work with a great team and excellent leaders from the top down. Along with people who care about me as a person, and my career, I enjoy the culture. Their aren't any cliques. People work together to achieve common goals, not like the "dog eat dog" atmosphere of some businesses. The company encourages primarily remote work, depending on your role. In four years with Robert Half, I have yet to set foot in an office. I have only one regret about Robert Half: not finding a position with them 10 years before. read more

We all know that looking for employment can be a rocky journey. After jot having any luck searching in my own, I found office team through a google search on agency. I applied for a few but Office Team was the first to contact me and schedule me for an interview right away. I talked to Michaela Rivas on the phone, we did a FaceTIME INTERVIEW AND THEN WE MET IN PERSON. She helped me clean up my resume and train me properly. She is super encouraging. In as little as 2 weeks she had found me several jobs. The first interview I went to was the job I landed and I can say I love it. I know that if I need to search again they will be there to help me and coach me. read more

I had an excellent experience working with Kevin Carey at Robert Half. He helped me land a QA Engineer position, and I couldn't be more grateful for his support throughout the entire process. Kevin was incredibly professional, friendly, and responsive. He consistently kept me updated and made sure I was prepared every step of the way. It's rare to find a recruiter who is as dedicated and communicative as Kevin--he truly made the job search process smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for a recruiter who genuinely cares about your success, I highly recommend reaching out to Kevin Carey at Robert Half. Thank you, Kevin, for your outstanding support! read more
