It has been very difficult to get in touch with a recruiter. I left 5 different t voicemails on 5 different recruiters voicemails and not one has called back, texted or attempted to connect with me. It's unfortunate and unprofessional. The operators have tried to connect me which I really appreciated but it is impossible to connect with a recruiter. read more

I've gotten a few jobs through Robert Half and they always find me a great fit. The team in San Ramon are superstars!

This review is for Kevin Carey, my recruiter from Robert Half. Kevin went above and beyond to find me a role in an extremely tough job market. He is the best recruiter I've ever worked with. He was extremely thorough and kept me in the loop at all times. He answered every question I had and helped me through the entire process from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about Kevin. read more

I recently joined Robert Half International and wanted to share my initial impressions of the hiring process. While I haven't been with the company for long, my experience thus far has been very positive. I want to preface my experiences by acknowledging that I may be somewhat partial in my review, as I was offered the role and have accepted it. However, I will do my best to provide an unbiased perspective on my experience. What stood out to me the most during the hiring process was the communication. It was extremely quick and responsive with my recruiter, Kevin Carey, leaving an outstanding impression on me as an applicant. After applying, Kevin quickly reached out to me via LinkedIn to schedule an initial screening. The screening went well and Kevin provided me an overview on the qualities and experiences the hiring team was looking for. He broke down the next steps of the interview process in a way that was easy to understand and made me feel well prepared, even following up our call with notes in an email for my own convenience. While I can say that I did do my part preparing as thoroughly as I could, I would absolutely attribute some of that confidence to Kevin's hard work and communication. He was concise and straight to the point, but also detailed and very supportive. He made sure I was informed with any new information through both email, calls, and texts and I could not be more thankful for him. read more

i gave two stars bc they post some good jobs that they're trying to staff for. i would have given one star bc of the attitude some of their staff brings to the table. i get everyone is overworked, dissatisfied, burned out, but please don't throw that back at me while I'm feeling the same way. i have been nothing but respectful in my email communications with them previously, but their intonation coming through shows lack of respect and empathy towards those looking for a job, those looking to switch jobs, and the unemployed. the last we need is more disrespectfulness while we're trying to transition into something better for our lives and our families. PLEASE BE TRANSPARENT on your website that your services at ALL RHI offices is for the unemployed ONLY or those who have already quit their job. read more

I worked at Robert Half and the experience was great. The supervisors and managers that I worked with were all attentive, supportive and accommodating, I felt as if I was part of the team from the very beginning. They answered questions for me without hesitation and they were extremely helpful in all aspects. I would definitely work for them again and suggest to anyone looking for work to sign up with them. Good luck! read more

Beyond happy with this particular Office Team! Not only was I able to get a job within a week; but a perfect job that fits with my schedule. If you are looking for full time, they can assign you practically instantly. What I like most about Office Team is that they can find a job that caters to your job needs and skill set. For me, I needed something part time to work with my other part time job. And they found me an amazing job that works perfectly with my schedule! I work primarily with Nicole Sher and Michaela Rivas and they are THE BEST! They regularly check in with me, make me feel supported, and always has my back if I have any issues with employers. I also love that they are available by email, text or phone. It makes communication much easier. I highly suggest coming here if you are in need of an administrative job asap. My only regret is not finding them sooner! read more

Inept, unprofessional and unethical. I honestly can't believe this branch is still functioning after what I've experienced and what I've heard from several other candidates. I first met with Kat Lam, who was the Staffing Manager at the time, in September of 2012. Learning that Kat is now a receptionist elsewhere speaks volumes to the management and competence of their office staff. After my interview I did not hear a single thing from OfficeTeam for nearly 2 months even after trying to reach my rep several times via email and phone. I figured I wasn't what they were looking for so I was quite surprised when Geena Quillen called with an assignment interview in late November. I was told that numerous OfficeTeam candidates had interviewed with this company but no one was as good of fit as I was. I was flattered when I was hired for the position and started immediately. Only 2 weeks into the assignment I realized the reasons behind the company's high turnover rate and continuous interviewing. The office manager was a zit-faced prick on a power trip. Not only did I sit in a part of the office without heat (in December), there was absolutely no training and I was expected to manage scheduling and correspond with clients without a computer....? I informed Geena that it was just not a good fit and that I wanted to be pulled from the assignment. She assured me that she would sort things out and told me to stick with it. Later that afternoon I was sitting in an office adjacent to said zit-faced manager when I heard him answer a call from Geena on speakerphone. I overheard her explaining to him all of my complaints and completely bad mouthing me during the entire conversation. She even went as far as to calling me a "whiner" and a "problem." Needless to say, I left the assignment and let OfficeTeam know what I thought of them and Geena. However, by the time OfficeTeam received my email on the following Monday, Geena had already left the company. She is now at Randstad and has had the audacity to GIVE OUT MY CONTACT INFORMATION to her colleagues!!! I've received 4 calls from Randstad in a bizarre effort to recruit me.... Unbelievable! STAY AWAY!! If a staffing agency can't even staff their own office with professional, competent people, what makes you think they have the ability to do so for others? read more

AccountTemps was a bit disappointing. I have dealt with Robert Half on numerous prior occasions and thought they were extremely professional. But after leaving numerous messages (more than i remember) for the Recruiter without a callback I gave up. I get they are busy. Especially in this market. But a call back would have not only been proper, but professional. Update: this is long overdue. AccountTemps reached out to me and made things right. They talked about how important yelp is and didn't want a customer feeling neglected. I touch based with one of their recruiters who matched me up with a great employer. I'm happily employed, and still with the same company two years later! Thanks AccountTemps! read more

Worked with a gentlemen named John Miller, and he was amazing throughout the entire process. It was very smooth and informative the entire way. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Always kept me up to date with what was going on and what I needed to be prepped for and ready. He always made me feel welcome and part of the team from the first day. Highly recommend! read more

A simple thank you would not be enough to express my gratitude towards John Miller and his team for going over and beyond my expectations while I was in search for a job. Aside from the professionalism that he has shown, his versatility regarding any last minute changes that was made, his communication skills is what wraps up the amazing service & quality of his work is. I couldnt be more glad that I was being assisted by him. Thank you so much, again, John Miller for welcoming me to Robert Half! read more

I don't know where to start, this place is dubious. I called to inquire about a job post online, they always say it's been filled already. Meaning, It's a way to bait you to try to get you to sign up with them and waste your time. Temp agencies are a waste of time. They have you take an assessment test promising you available positions, and you do well, but they never call you back. And if they do call, it's always a person in training trying to use you to develop their communication skill. I can tell it's obvious. Sometimes, they will offer you positions that you are overqualified for that pays nothing, but have no intention of really offering you the job, so why bother to call. From my experience, you are better off finding a job on your own. I ended up landing a decent job. It took about 2-3 months, but I'm now a staff accountant coming out of college. It's a very competitive world out there, however, your chances of landing a job is better if you find one yourself. read more

John Miller helped me a lot in getting many roles at various times of the year and it is year after year. He is extremely helpful, co-operative and proactive. I would give this place zero stars if I could! Let's just say "Robert Half" focuses on only half of the picture! I had the luck to work with a wonderful colleague, Albina, and she was extremely nice and caring in the beginning. However, as time passed by, things start go south. I reached out to her two months ago and Albina seemed very passionate in finding me a job, whether it is temporary, part time, or full time. After two months of non stop phone calls and a lot of fake promises, I am still here, not without a single offer from any of the jobs I got sent to. Every time I got sent to an interview, I was told that it was potential and that I was very likely to get the job, based on my experience and background. However, the lack of follow ups and feedback really got me on my nerve. I was once sent to a temp assignment with SAP and Albina said she would call me with a result toward the end of the day. The phone call never came (maybe she had urgent issue that came up), she never followed up and just moved on to sending me to other interviews. The same routine goes on for the two interviews I got sent to after (no follow up whatsoever and I had to call to find out what the result was, what a shame!). Here comes the best part: I recently got a call from Albina and she said this would be a potential interview - I of course said yes to attending the interview and she said she would follow up the following day. When she called again, I politely declined as I did not feel like moving forward after thinking about it over night. She was then extremely rude and demanded for an explanation. I then told her that I did not want to do it and I was upset with my experience with Robert Half. Instead of asking me why and how she and the team can improve, she was telling me that I was flaking on the interview and made it sound like I was wasting her time, when in return Robert Half is wasting my time. Throughout the time I was getting my time wasted by Robert Half, I asked about being a full time Robert Half employee, where I would get a fixed salary and would get sent to different assignments. I was referred to a team who would get me set up and not to my surprise, no follow up whatsoever after the interview with the team. Also, from time to time, I would get calls from someone with Robert Half team asking if I was interested in temp assignments, which all would start the next day or immediately when I was out working on my current job. I have never heard of anything with such short notice and left me with no time to think or give notice. I understand that all recruiters are commission based and job seekers are the tools to earn money. However, if the recruiters are not treating them with respect and giving them the follow up they need, eventually, job seekers will just stop going to Robert Half. Know that I am not the only disappointed job seeker, there are many others including my peers and family who are extremely dissatisfied with the services you guys provide, both as a job seeker and a employer! I also emailed this to their supervisor, "Liz", about my experience with Robert Half. No reply from her. Just shows how much this company gives little to no care about their job seekers. Won't be recommending this place to anyone and it's better to find a job on your own than rely on this useless temp agency! read more

Robert Half - Employment Agencies Near Me - San Ramon, California

I had signed up with these guys about a year ago and at first I found them to be very helpful. That is until I had to take pointless placements tests that didn't reflect my ability at all. To make it worse, I met with a few of them who said they'd interview me and give me some practice, then immediately send me off to interview with Honda. The interview went well, however, we went a little bit over so I only had 15 minutes to get to Honda (in San Ramon). They warned me not to be late because Honda hates that. Okay then, so you guys want me to speed like crazy with no real directions into a place I am unfamiliar with? Seriously, it was the worst time. I didn't have much experience with agencies at this point, but they really showed me what an agency is not supposed to do. Flash forward, they set me up with another company that specializes in contracts. That's awesome. But, I guess this company had high turnover so I lost the assignment in a week and Officeteam hasn't helped me since. The only good thing I gained from Officeteam is knowing what an agency should and shouldn't do. I do not recommend this agency if you are just starting out in the workforce. There are much better agencies, who are more likely to treat you with more respect and give you better opportunities. Officeteam picks you up then forgets about you as soon as an assignment doesn't work out. Unprofessional and rude. read more

Dimitriy contacted me regarding a position in San Ramon. He read me the job description and asked me if I'd like to have my resume submitted. I agreed. And he said he would submit me at the highest pay rate (which was awesome); same day I was asked to come in the next morning to interview with the employer. I interviewed; next day I received a call from Dimitriy informing me of how the company felt about my interview. So far everything sounded promising, and that the company would make their decision by end of the week. First thing Friday morning I get a call from Dimitriy and with an enthusiastic and so happy for me voice, I was told I got the job!! I was ecstatic!! The job is temp to hire and so far so good!! I love the job and the people I work with. I check in with Dimitriy once a week and will be submitting my timecard by end of the week. Even though I did not receive interview requests/job leads for two months I still believe working with account temps has been a great experience. The staff is pleasant to deal with and they work hard for you. I know this because the job that Dimitriy placed me in was actually from a different location, but because of Dimitriy's dedication to his work, he was able to find an opportunity for me. Thanks so much Dimitriy for your assistance in getting me back into the work force!! Keep up the AWESOME job!! You ROCK!! read more

the absolute worst staffing agency EVER!!!! I have worked INTERNALLY for two different agencies and was referred here by a co-worker when my company was going through massive layoffs. First of all I was a working candidate, which in the agency world is HUGE!!!! I'm not some slacky bum who can't hold a job! I was going in AFTER work to register. My first appointment I did not meet ANYONE! Not even a two second intro saying they would be meeting with me later. I was just sat at a computer for 3 HOURS to do testing. Trust me I know the testing is important but as a recruiter if you can't even step out and introduce yourself and explain the process your failing misserably!!! The second day I came back, SAME THING! More testing, not one conversation! Seriously, to the BS recruiter, your really not that important and you might make a bit more money if you gave a rats ass about your candidates! So I finally finish all my testing, I did well. I got 56 WPM typing, 90% on the Word and 85% on Excel, the rest of the tests were just 'work ethic' type BS tests. I FINALLY meet with the recruiter and we start going over what I'm looking for. I was making 45k in my current position at the time, I told her I was willing to go down to 18/hr (which by the way is almost an 8,000 pay cut annually for christs sakes!!) She said that positions in my field were probably going to be more like 13-15/hr. Are you kidding me? Unemployment will pay me more than that and I have more skills than that. I told her there was no way I could work for that and that 18/hr was my MINIMUM as previously stated. So basically I wasted what amounted to 9 hours of my life for some complete BS. I now have a job that pays 50k and I was only unemployed for like a month, so take that officeteam! read more

Amelia and her crew of misfits were awesome. The entire Accountemps team is full of energy and want to put you in a position to succeed. As a recent grad in a poor economy, I worked with many recruiters over the last year and tried so hard to get them to trust my skills. Amelia saw talent beyond what was written on my resume and gave me that shot. I started with Accountemps 4 months ago and was just offered a full time position doing what I love. Just put in work and it's a win-win situation for the agency, client, and most importantly...you! Thanks guys! read more

Rachel, Nelvin, and Dennis were so great at finding a new position for me. It was my first experience working with a staffing agency The assessments gave them an honest sense of my abilities and the interviews with them helped them know me as a person. They matched me perfectly with a company I am proud to represent and support. I have only had good experiences with them, and am telling everyone I know about them. read more

I have had TERRIBLE experiences with the Agency, actually not a fan of Agencies in general, mostly because of this place. They have you come in and interview, take the testing (which I did just fine on) and then I only hear from them with jobs that do not fit my background, or are out of my commute range. I keep seeking jobs I am interested in posted, but then I have to contact them. Pay is low when they do decide to call at all. Stay clear!!!!!! read more

UPDATED POST AS OF 10/18/16 (upgraded to 3 stars): Since I wrote the review below, Senior Management contacted me personally. They truly were concerned about my horrible experience and quickly rectified it, management listened to me and all of my concerns about my handling. I am very impressed with the follow up from Management and realized that some of the people involved were relatively new and are still being mentored. We are learn, grow, and evolve as we mature professionally. That is my hope for this group in Pleasanton, but they were remorseful and realized they could have done things better. I'm grateful for their honesty, compassion, and willingness to finally listen to me. I'm very satisfied with the outcome and would now recommend giving them a try. I'm confident they will treat you right! If you feel you are not being treated right, reach out to the branch manager, they will listen to you and they will fix it until you are satisfied. :o) ORIGINAL POST BELOW (original post 1 star): I had a terrible experience with this location (*only), as the Fremont location is outstanding so please don't base my review for all of the RHI Accountemp offices. But this office in particular staff was so rude that it was unbelievable. They set me with with a client that has to be one of the worst, if not they worst, place that I have ever had the misfortune to work at. It was literally a health code violation. Let's put it this way, I tried to move the mat under my chair because it kept buckling and the girl training me said, "oh it's permanently stuck, as long as I've been here, there's been a lot of spills and food underneath it". The desk they provided me with was from a fire sale built for a 7 year old and absolutely they worst manners and lack of professionalism I have seen in a long time. The wages sucked, the people sucked, but hey they gave me this opportunity so I sucked it up then 3 days later I get a call from Tina saying the client is telling them that "Mr X (the boss name withheld from this review) said he sat down with you and you didn't understand the spreadsheets so they are releasing you ok? thaaannnkksssss". WTF? Ok this "boss" is 350 lbs at least and thinks he's it on a stick. I would "think" I would remember a massive 350 lb guy "sitting next to me". I told Tina that NEVER happened so what is the real reason then she had the nerve to say, "don't yell at me", who is yelling? Jesus christ, you guys won't stand by me when it's a flat out lie? She said "we chose to believe the client as they are our client". I'm your resource, then Nelvin who has a MAJOR attitude was even worse, all in all I regret the day I picked up the phone call from Nelvin. Since then I have landed a GREAT job making over twice the wage at the ghetto client, that's just to start with more to come over probation. This company I'm at now is a major grocery company with over 10,000 employees and guess what? They VALUE their people! Wow, refreshing concept. BUT I love, love, love Merill at the Fremont office, and Jen at that office. Robert Half / Accountemps is not a bad place to work, not every office is crappy like Pleasanton's so please don't take this review as they don't have anything to offer. It's the quality of the recruiters and they do have some great ones to offer. I wish you all luck in your search! And Greta (whoever you are) please don't respond to this review, it's might right to give my feedback on my experience, as Tina would say, "thhaaannnnkkkkkkkksssssss!" read more

I have worked for Office Team, out of Pleasanton, for over 7 years. I have worked as temp all that time and have been very happy. The staff have all been very professional and have called and visited me to check on how things are going. This review is long overdue as I thought it was previously posted. I would like to sincerely thank Amelia and the team at Accountemps for the career opportunity she found for me last year. I am sincerely grateful that Amelia and her staff were diligent in finding me a full time position that was exactly the career path I wanted to break into. I am currently a Financial Analyst for UHC Stanford Healthcare for the Revenue and Reimbursement department. I worked for 10 months in the position and have now been permanent for a little over 3 months. At first the thought of going through a temp agency to find a new job was very off putting. n't "numerical fruit" based employment agency. They couldn't have been more impersonal if they tried. After that experience I begrudgingly applied for another position through Accountemps. I could tell this was going to be by far a different experience just from the first phone call from Nelvin. His follow up with me regarding interviews & possible placements is beyond appreciated. I highly recommend them to any job seeker. read more

I have always enjoyed working with OfficeTeam the most out of all the agencies I have worked for in the past. It still holds true. I had to wait awhile to talk to the staffing agent then when I was finally seen she was rushing cuz she had another client to interview .. You go into an employment agency thinking they will help you find a job you WANT but in reality they offer you a job thats just there .. I asked her several times for some jobs that was listed through their company but only offered me the one that might take me.. I'm still waiting to hear from them and haven't heard back .. They should just admit that your score isn't upto par for them so they can't really offer you good jobs.. read more

Horrible, horrible staffing agency!! I went in and took the required tests along with the pointless work ethic tests. Then interviewed to talk about the kind of job I was looking for; I was told to call or email to check in if I hadn't heard anything. I was honestly disappointed with this company. I had Rene as my temp agent who made me get the interview with Honda. She was very helpful at the beginning. The day of the interview she asked me to meet an hour earlier with her prior to the main interview to practice interviewing. It took longer than what was needed which made made me late to the actual interview with Honda. The next day she calls me and tells me I don't get the job then questions if I was late. I was only late because of the fact that I had very little time getting there and I felt rushed. It may have been something else in the interview but I feel as though the agency should have taken responsibility as well since it was not entirely my fault. I generally leave 30+ minutes more than the time it takes me to to get to an unfamiliar location. All in all thanks for the help OfficeTeam, however I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

After 8 months looking for full time employment, I contacted an agency which had assisted me several years ago. After a couple of weeks, they did not return my calls. It took several months and several false starts with other agencies before I contacted Office Team. These are the folks to call first. I was looking for a customer service position and within two weeks they had me in front of my current assignment. Things clicked at the interview. I have been here for five months and am very happy. Marina Omar (and her team) have been responsive, forthcoming and helpful. The staff checks in regularly to make sure everything is going well. It just seems that they function at a higher level--more professionally--than many of their competitors. read more
