Before I went on this assignment I asked the question if I could go back to a company that fired me. The recruiter said yes I also said that if I didn't get my clearance I would still have my job I found you on Fri that she lied and now I might not have a job. The company will see if I can stay but I was told by another recruiter that there were no other jobs to put me on. Robert Half lies to make quota . They do whatever it takes so they look good. These guys are a joke... the 1st time I went in there almost 12 years ago they were late to my interview and when they did finally show up close to 30 min late they rushed me and treated me like I was nobody. Jokes on them, I was trying to break into tech and moved from marketing to IT while keeping my pay the same (which I was told wouldn't happen) at a major data center (the largest client for Iron Mountain in Scottsdale)... fast forward 5 years I got a job at another major data center making 20k more. Just got a job about a year ago in the 6 figure range plus benefits, shorter drive, wfh, etc... life is good without them. You can find IT jobs without these guys, just apply yourself and be real about your experience (and if you don't have experience then get some... theres plenty of info on the internet and plenty of cheap enterprise level equipment on ebay). Note that I only have an associates and I stack certifications... and even more I have a passion for IT that I spend hours outside of work to acquire. If there's any advice I'd offer these guys it's don't overlook people just because they don't have a degree... so many people are making it in tech without them... and I've had plenty of people working under me with masters degrees. read more

This place is a hot mess express! As someone who was without a job when I moved out here, I started looking for agencies that could assist with my search. I found a couple very interesting, specific positions on the Robert Half website in the marketing/advertising field (something you don't see very often). So I reached out and received a follow up about a day or so asking to visit the office for an interview/set up your profile stuff. Not bad, made me happy so I scheduled away. Parking in their complex is almost a nightmare for someone like myself who was new to the Valley. So I arrive and start filling out the paperwork and immediately get in with my recruiter. She said there were a lot of available positions with all of the experience I have, and I should hear back within a few days. Followed up after a week and got the gal's voicemail. Emailed her. No response whatsoever. How unprofessional! Same horrible song and dance when I tried again a few weeks later. Luckily the job I have now was offered a month after I started searching with this horrendous place. Even worse is that a few months after I started did I start getting recruiter calls. So I made sure to call back and speak with a supervisor to inform them that their unprofessional behavior was uncalled for. She agreed to remove all of my information from the database and cease contact with me. Now, about a year later, I am getting recruiter emails AGAIN, this time from Lauren Bunnell in their Chandler office. How many times do I have to explain to the company that I don't want my information associated with Robert Half?!? #imdone read more

I was represented by Robert Half for about a year, and like the other review said, "it will be a cold day in hell before I get involved with them again." They are completely dishonest, they say one thing and completely do another. They don't return calls, if you call them, they're "in a meeting" or "at lunch" or on another call. You'll never get a call back. They placed me in a Financial Planner/Tax Preparers office...keep in mind, I'm NOT into finance, and I never said that I wanted to be, but I needed income and it was close to my house. After about a month, I realized that this wasn't a good fit for me. It was an office with no windows (not a huge deal, but I love natural light), horrible music, and it was a family run business. They said no phones, but the grandson works there, and all he does all day is play games on his phone and give his work to the other people. The "office manager" is as dishonest as they come!! People there are so two-faced, it's unreal. I'm still friends with 2 people there, but that's it. I called Robert Half and the girl told me that they had all positive things to say about me, but if I need to vent or complain, to call her any time. I called every once in a while to vent and to see if there was someplace else that they could place me, and "nothing" was ever available. In seven months? That was a lie. After I left, I called them to see if there was anything available and the guy said no. But he asked me how much I wanted to be paid, and the area that I wanted to work. A few days passed and I called back and spoke with the girl who told me that I could call her at any time. She said that before they could represent me or place me anywhere that I needed to have a "coaching call" with my recruiter and that he would be calling me by the end of that day. I never got a call. That was on a Wednesday. On Monday morning, I called them back to get the "coaching call", no one was available (big surprise), but the girl called me back a while later. She told me that they would no longer be representing me because there were concerns about the way I acted over the past 7 months. I wasn't late to work, I didn't miss work (except for when I was in a car accident), I didn't complain to them (I only called RH if I needed to) and she told me that everything was POSITIVE!! I'm so disappointed in the way they handled things. They are dishonest and they don't care where they place you, as long as THEY get paid. They are a terrible company. read more

Just a typical staffing service with big dreams and nothing more.! I have had maybe (over the years) at least 2 interview's that didn't go anywhere!. If you're NOT a Gen Y: Gen Y, or Millennials, Robert Half will find anyway to discourage you for pursuing any type of job with them (Robert Half - Staffing Agency is very big on age discrimination!). Oh ...... You will have an interview & be treated like they have found the perfect candidate, Oh and they can't wait to get you to start.... "BUT" that is about it!! Once the interview is completed; and they find out your age; or if you ask too many questions ... Robert Half - Staffing Agency is done with you...! I love the fact you have a recruiter's name, but you call the office; and then have to jump through several hoops to get too them, and then when you finally speak to the recuriter they act like they don't know who you are! Or even better, you can call Robert Half - Staffing Agency; say at 09:00am and speak with one (1) person who will take a message for either the requirter or the recruiter's boss (??); and they say: "The recruiter will call-You back".; .. BUT this has never happened. I was offered a job, I was told of the job, & when the job would start on a certain date and time (This was in 2021!) .... I did a 'virtual' job interview.... a 'virtual' tour of the office I would be at ... everything was A-OK... then again, I did everthing I was asked, sent in references, filled out electronic paperwork; etc. Well the start job approached.. then it came and went and all I got was a run-around!! The most akward exhange between myself and the Robert Half - Staffing Agency; waswhen I told my recruiter that I had my COVID vaccine and would he like a copy of that too, and 'WOW' did the Robert Half - Staffing Agency recruiter got so nervous; and acted weird about it.! I can't describe it more than that, but when I mentioned I had the COVID vaccine the recruiterjust seemed really nervous '. read more

NEVER AGAIN. I've worked with Robert Half in other states, and it was an okay experience, though you can feel a lot more like a commodity than a person. This location, though, is a joke. If this is how all Robert Halfs are now, it would explain why I'm suddenly hearing radio commercials for them - they can't stay in business doing business like this. I unknowingly applied to two different recruiters for two different jobs they'd posted in various places on the internet. One ignored me entirely, the other emailed me at 8pm, attempted to rescind the email, and then called the next morning. We went over my resume and the position in great detail, and she urged me to come in for a meeting that afternoon to go over possible openings that fit my resume. I thought the phone call went well, and expected to hear about some of the 10-12 accounting positions that I mentioned over the phone that were currently listed on their website and that matched my skils/experience. So after an hour drive, and after paying to park, I'm told my recruiter will see me now, and am placed in an empty room for 15 minutes. She comes in with a folder with loose paper inside and a tablet. Doesn't make eye contact, doesn't shake my hand, nothing. She had NO JOBS lined up to discuss with me, but mentioned two in her folder that were not even remotely suited to what I do. She had not prepared anything based on the 20 minute phone call we had just had that morning. She was clueless about the other email/application I'd sent in, though we had discussed it over the phone. She went over exactly the same experience/skill set information we had discussed on the phone, said she'd discuss openings with her colleagues to see what they had for me and call me back in a day or two. And she added she'd have someone from Accountemps contact me the next day as well. Complete waste of my time and fuel, and I never heard from Accountemps. A week later, I had a job offer on my own, after never hearing back from her or any other recruiter. In the two weeks since then I've received three calls and an email, and despite having told each one of them that a) I found a job on my own already and b) I'm not interested in working with them and c) please remove me from their list of candidates to contact and d) being told that they will remove my name, they have not stopped. There seems to be no communication and no follow through in what they do in the Phoenix location. Conversely, I did work with Headfarmer as well, and they were fantastic. Truly professional, very pleasant, transparent about what their clients wanted and what they can do for you, and the follow through (returning phone calls, interview prep, negotiating, checking in after the fact, etc) is top notch. So not only is Robert Half doing a poor job, their competition far surprasses even what RH claims to do. read more

Horrible, so joe mozzi was my recruiter. I was sent on a administration assignment. Close to my house good pay .so I said yes. I get there an its a construction site. They have no phone lines no offices set up. What they wanted was a low cost general contractor. So day 3 I call Joe an tell him the condition of this job. He sold he knows an I would be jus setting up the place you.know computers an things. Smh This place needed a maid an contractor as well as construction worker. Which I guess he felt I could do. I stuck it out for 3 weeks.. I ask Joe what happened if someone don't like the placement. He then was rude said he don't talk over email. Um ok. So I called him he have me 5 mins to vent told me wait 2 more weeks.. now I'm feeling like I'm jus here to get this place up an together set up vendors, flooring, lights, waste ma agreement ect. Then after I tell him he lied to me about the position. He rushes me off the phone with deep concern for my.issue I got no where. Then a week later he tells the client t I want to quit when she calls for another helper. I want to quit an read off my emails to her.so now with out even getting my questions answered on what do we do in this situation. Now he an his messy ways costed me my position. I call to.talk to his boss Travis. Left vm ..still waiting. An instead of telling me to return the key he holds up my pay. Smh until I call in asking what's going on woth.my approved hours then he says they need the key an then he will pay me. The key was dropped off already. He is arrogant, pompous, even the clie t he sent me too didn't like him. He sending people to her that don't qualify or bring personal issues to work. Robert Half is good at recruiting. They move fast and work hard at making sure you interview with companies that are the right fit for you. I interviewed with a company twice in two weeks, was hired, and accepted the job. After a month, things did not work out and I left the company. Robert Half recruiting managers immediately began looking for a better fit for me and they are an A+ recruiting firm for their correspondence and communication. I had just about the same experience as David. When I gave my "recruiter" the specifics of what I did at the time, he explained that Id need to be tested on just how good my skills were. The test for my actual position was not what I did at all, he totally didnt listen to me. Then whenever he called w/ an open position it was a) exactly what I told him I didnt want to do, b) on the wrong side of town (way out of the "distance from home" that we discussed), and c) if I said I wasnt interested, he'd ask me to call everyone I knew and put the job out there for him. Sorry....but isnt that *your* job, not mine? Luckily when I signed up w/ them, I still had a job so I didnt need to depend on their "skills" to find me something better suited for me. I relied on my resume and Monster.com and got a MUCH better result. read more

This is for Robert-Half Technologies not specifically for this office but let me tell you it will be a cold day in hell before I ever get involved with them again. Basic idea is, they will lie to your face, misrepresent themselves and what they do, there's no follow up and any concerns and issues you have are just ignored. During this time with them I went through about half a dozen people who were my point of contact and when they left for whatever reason I would never hear about it until my e-mails would receive a bounce back or I'd get an e-mail from my "new" POC. Five years I did a job for them as a contractor. Five years without a raise. Five years without so much as a glance at a contract update, chance to move to a different position or company. And when I would bring these things up they'd say they'd look into it and either never get back to me or never respond in the first place. These people are in it for themselves and not you. You should only deal with them if you literally have no other option. read more

Like most recruiters, they suck. Terrible company, they never follow through on anything. They'll often throw you in a line with five other cattle for an interview just so they have an extra body to bounce ideas off of. One thing that's weird, they make you come into the office to meet with them. And also, have you fill out a form with a bunch of personal info like your social/address. I'd recommend not doing either unless you have a signed job from them. They always tell you to come in dressed in a suit, which I don't agree with during the summer here. It's not worth it in 110-degree heat. They make it sound like they have a ton of contract jobs, but that's just not the case. The good jobs are mostly in North Scottsdale now with a few still in downtown. I interviewed with a small company through them which would have been a direct placement. I'm glad it didn't work out, as I make almost twice as much now as a contractor for a larger, well-known company who has an awesome environment for my field. And I never even met the people at the agency I'm with now, they're based out of the Midwest. read more

They send these auto email job offers and when you reply with interest nothing happens! You apply for jobs on their website and nothing happen! No email at letting you know that they got your application or even if you did or didn't get the job... Nothing! I see hundreds of jobs on their website and after applying and being ignored so many times, I decided to call them. And they say "sorry we don't have anything" so are all these available jobs I'm seeing on the website fake? So after being ignored for over a year I found a job all on my own. This is the most lazy neglectful staffing agency I've ever seen! This isn't even a staffing agency! It's a pure waste of time. I wish I could give 0 stars! I applied with this company, filled out all the paperwork for the background check roughly a month ago and have not had any communication from them at all. I have called and left several messages for the recruiter and the only response I ever get back is that background check hasn't cleared yet. I've never had a background check take longer than 7 days. Also when you call the recruiter is never at their desk so you always have to leave a voicemail. read more

The initial phone screen with the Recruitment Manager went great! I discussed my qualifications for the Internal Recruiter opportunity, salary requirements and extensive experience in Recruiting. We seemed to agree on Recruiting philosophies and Recruitment styles. An interview was scheduled to interview at their Biltmore location late in the evening to accommodate both of our schedules. Upon arrival, the receptionist seemed relatively astonished when I walked into the office. She looked to be in her early 20's, long blonde hair, blue eyes. I took the reign and politely extended an introduction "Hello, I am here to meet with...." The receptionist scrambled to get a word document with basic information to complete..I, in turn, handed her my resume. She scanned the resume and looked at me awkwardly..I smiled, took my seat and completed the document. Fast forward, I was escorted to a room to interview. Twenty minutes later, the Recruitment Manager opens the door and gazes at me gracelessly, hesitantly extends her hand, introduces herself and apologizes for arriving late due to "a meeting". We discussed my background, I shared my passion for Business Development, Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement. The Recruitment Manager seemed very uncomfortable. Eventually, she brought in the Senior VP- A short, round man who seemed to have short man's complex who asked the same repetitive questions and advised, "I'll take your resume and give it to my Recruiters to help you find a position-I'll email you"..Long and short, I haven't heard from either. What amazes me is the company's declaration that they are dedicated to diversity; however, my entrance into this location proved otherwise. Ironically enough, some of my culturally diverse, degree'd, experienced professional colleagues experienced the same treatment. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the unpleasant and unprofessional behavior of the recruiters at the medical branch of Robert half office team. More often than not, I would call to follow up about positions that had been posted online within a day or two and the most common response would be "oh we don't have anything right now we will let you know" even though it had just been posted, or "oh we've already filled that position "when it had been less than a few hours. I understand the business moves quickly, but this process went on for several weeks and no matter how many times I called or emailed, I would just get waitlisted, or jerked around while they obviously recruited other people for the positions that I had been diligently applying for. I understand that they have other candidates but when this happened 10, 12, 15 times I finally just gave up and decided to stop calling them because none of the recruiters would call me back even though I would leave messages and email with hopes of response. read more

I've worked for Robert Half in other states, which was okay, but the one in Phoenix is absolutely horrible. First, I was getting a bunch of "urgent need" emails from this Michael Casas person, only to never have him respond to my replies to his emails. Second, I was contacted by one of the recruiters (Sabriya) constantly for a direct-hire position (facetime, phone, email and text messages after hours) and went on an interview with the client company and pretty much had the job. However, Sabriya's manager, Kathleen, in my opinion have a superiority complex, wanted me to come in to "talk" to her during weird hours with little to no notice, which would have been okay if I did not have other interviews scheduled, as I have told Sabriya up front that I was actively looking and am currently working. Anyhow, I believe that because I didn't cater to Kathleen's "talking" schedule (although, I agreed to a phone meeting when asked, but have not heard back), they more than likely told the client that I was no longer interested, which is unprofessional and unethical. There are much better staffing agencies out there that are more professional. My advice is to steer clear of this one. read more

I worked for Office Team for 3 months and was assigned to a temp to hire position. I was offered the full time position with the company which I took. I first met with Nicole and let me tell you she is fantastic. I was really unhappy with my past employment and she reassured me that she could find something and within a week I was putting in my notice and starting my 1st and last assignment with Office Team. I love where I am at now. I was very discouraged when I met with Nicole I had been applying at jobs like crazy and not getting much response back. My recruiter J Hubbard was horrible, still is! I had to call her directly to remind her of our phone interview that SHE SCHEDULED. Had a "mini" phone interview and she passed me over to one of her business partners. Called to followup and see if they found anything for me and was told no. Granted I get the email notification about new job postings so I know that there are position that I qualify for and also meet my salary requirements. Called to get a new recruiter because Jenna was not proactively assisting me, so they handed me off to someone on her team. Left him a voicemail about a week ago and have yet to hear back. Seems like the recruiter just want someone who will work for pennies, meaning $13-$15 an hour and that is something I will not do. I know how to advocate for myself and I have worked in many permanent positions that I acquired on my own. They will give you the run around if you let them. Also on my 3rd recruiter. They apparently couldn't find me in the system. Told whoever I was talking to that I was interested in clerical/receptionist position since that is what majority of my experience is in. This broad had the audacity to say since your title didn't say receptionist then you don't qualify. Like what? Make that make sense? Are you dumb or are you just plain stupid. My resume clearly demonstrates the type of work that was posted in their job descriptions, yet I don't qualify. I could go on and on about how trash this agency is, but I won't waste anymore of my precious time. Nevertheless, wait until I pass my bar exam, this company will be the first on my list and I mean this in the most humble way. You better reclaim your time and not waste it here. Godspeed. read more

From 3/26/2016: This is one of the worst recruiting companies I have had this misfortune of attempting to work through for placement opportunities. I have attempted to work with branches in Michigan and this one in Arizona and the outcome is the same: A Complete Waste Of My Time!!! Each recruiter apologies for my prior experience and state in effect they will work hard to match me with a great employer. The recruiters typically will go on to state RHT is committed not only to the companies they are paid by, but also to the people they are trying to place - BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.... You will send them an updated resume' and you will spend a lot of time answering their questions. You may even get a face to face interview. At some point the recruiter will make minor/major commitments. You should consider this the brush off and you will not hear from that particular recruiter again. You probably will hear from a different RHT recruiter who knows nothing of your prior experience and promises he/she is not like his predecessor. The new recruiter will ask for an updated resume' and will ask you a lot of questions. You may even get a face to face interview. At some point that recruiter will make commitments and then will never follow through with you again. But never fear, a new recruiter will contact you, apologizing for your prior experiences and the vicious cycle will repeat again and again and again and again. It wouldn't surprise me if a company spokesperson comments on my review. I will probably receive another apology and assurance my experiences are isolated. DON'T BE A FOOL like I was!!!! I have spoken to many RHT recruiters about prior problems and nothing has changed. This company isn't worth a used piece of toilet paper after wiping your butt. The toilet paper served a valuable service to you. Based on my experience, this company will not! Regardless if you seek employment or employees, I recommend avoiding RHT. I have currently worked with Robert Half for over two years for their temporary division, and off and on throughout my career, either as a temp or using them to place a temp in my office. I have always had good rapport with the staff. They have always presented me with positions I am well suited for, and I am very pleased with my current position. Sometimes there have been lapses in communication, around staff changes, but overall they have served me well. Over the years, I have used other local agencies, and have noticed that sometimes personnel go from one agency to another, but my experiences have always been best with RHI. read more

I followed up after doing their online testing only to find they had assigned me to someone who immediately took a week vacation. Followed up again after that person supposedly was back from vacation. Their response was they had nothing available. But according to their website there are multiple positions that would be a good fit. If you're lucky they'll send you an email with a potential opening. But even when you respond that you're interested, you can't get any response from them. They don't return emails or voicemails. This is not rocket science here people. Why tell me you had positions available during my interview, only to tell me later that you have nothing. And they never even contacted any of my references. If you didn't feel I was a good candidate, why not say that during the interview and not waste my time? How this company has such a high rating is beyond me! read more

I could not take my first assignment due conflict, then I took a 2nd assignment, the pay was great, the work was interesting, the staff was great and plus parking was validated. It's been more than three months and if anyone knows the secret to getting a recruiter to place you, I'd sure like to know what it is that is lacking. Hello I joined Robert Half Staffing Agency in Phoenix, AZ about a year ago. My recruiters were Debbie Drake ( based out of Phoenix) and Anthony Kurian (based out of Ohio). I originally got started by submitted my resume online and the following week I was contacted by a long distance recruiter Anthony Kurian. Anthony set up a Skype interview and advised via interview that Wells Fargo would next somebody immediately, within the next two weeks once I submitted my paperwork. I did all what was requested and two months later I continued to get the same response. " We are still waiting on the supervisor." Next I received a call from the local recruiter Debbie Drake and was advised to set up an appointment with her via Skype. The first interview she failed to keep the schedule appointment but apologize and said she was sorry. I accepted and scheduled another appointment with her. After the Skype interview. I was told immediately to again fill out a packet and submit supporting documents and we will have available position within the next week. After a few months went by of not hearing from either recruiters, I contacted them via emailt to get the status. Both recruiters advised we are waiting on the supervisor. This continued for about two months. Its evident that the recruiters of the Robert Half firm are not serious about placing professional and talented individuals. Clients are just a number is boost their numbers, on how many clients they recruit. This agency is a joke and I highly recommend you do not waste your job and especially filling out forms that require your social security number. read more

I was introduced to this company by a close friend who had nothing but good things to say about their recruitment opportunities and placing employees. Prior to setting up an appointment and meeting with 2 of their recruiters, I researched the company (really looking for information on their successes). Much to my dismay I found nothing but poor reviews of lack of communication with their potential employee database. Hoping that these were just "bitter" people with nothing to offer a potential client, I decided to move forward and meet with their recruiters. It has now been 4 months and I have met with 5 of their recruiters independently. I have personally applied for about 15 jobs listed with this one office on Camelback Rd, Phoenix. I have been told that some jobs are posted without merit; simply to attract new employees to fill their database. I have e-mailed various recruiters to find out if they have submitted my application. I have not heard a single response. No-one communicates back with you to let you know that they have submitted your application, or to manage your expectations on timelines for interviews. Last week I was called in to meet with another recruiter who had a job opportunity for me. I went to meet with him. He kept me waiting for 30 minutes and then when he came in he slouched in a chair; did not ask me one question about prior employment and experience, and 10 minutes later concluded the meeting. His body language and behaviors were completely unprofessional and there was no mention of a job. At this point Ii can not find a single redeeming quality about this company and would recommend that any unemployed professional try registering with other recruiting agencies. It is such a shame that Company's utilize Robert Half and pay significant commissions to a group of recruiters that simply list those same jobs on other websites (as well as their own) and wait for responses. They are essentially a worthless "middle man. I would recommend that his Company's that use Robert Half spend a little extra money on developing their own Human Resources Dept. and ultimately save money as they recruit employees in the future. read more
