Sure I'm grateful that I had work and could pay my bills but the amount of stress that came along with from the agency was the most irritating. I am not unlike most individuals nowadays on a serious job hunt to support my family. I have been searching for an opportunity for a couple of months. One of my go to companies is Insight Global. With in the past 2 weeks, I have had 2 very bad encounters with Insight HR Talent people. This is regarding 2 different job opportunities. My 1st experience. Was a scheduled interview for a position I had applied to. The recruiter I was working with did not seem up to the task of communicating with me and the hiring manager. I would get messages from 2 different email addresses and 2 different phone numbers regarding the same topic information. When I discussed this confusion with the HR recruiter, he wanted me to help him troubleshoot his issues. I told him that I did not have allot of time for that due to other obligations. He had scheduled an interview for me with the hiring manager via a team's call. I dialed into the call and waited on the call for 30 mins. After 30 mins I contacted my recruiter and told him that no one dialed in to the call but me. I called and Emailed the Insight Recruiter for the next 2 days to get another interview scheduled. No response. I replied to the Insight recruiter that I felt this was very unprofessional behavior and to have him drop me from consideration for this job opportunity. A week later another HR recruiter from Insight global sent me a job opportunity request via Linkedin InMail. I told the new recruiter about my previous experience last week and hoped that this new communication engagement would flow allot better. Well, I am sorry to say... it did not. The recruiter kept sending me Linkedin InMail's and I would reply that yes, I am interested in the opportunity but would not return my message replies. I told this 2nd recruiter at Insight Global that I would be filing a review on Glassdoor about my experiences with Insight and their recruiting processes. Lastly, I would like to explain that I know there are allot of individuals out there in the job market looking for new jobs. I also acknowledge that each family has their own problems and situations they are going thru. My family and I are going thru our 1st and hopefully last cancer treatment situation. My youngest son was diagnosed with Leukemia back in April of 2024. My family and I have been spending allot of time at Phoenix Children's hospital while my son is either admitted to the hospital of going thru his treatments. I go into the hospital everyday with my son while he is getting treatment. I am always carrying my laptop bag and a shirt and tie in case of a no notice interview on camera. This is really where my frustration lies. I am unemployed, my son has Leukemia and I feel like all the companies like Insight Global are being unprofessional. I call it getting ghosted. We all have our own personal and family problems, but it seems to go to a different level when HR Talent professionals act in this manner. I am a retired US Airforce veteran. I served my country honorably; I do not see why HR Talent professionals can treat people in this manner. It almost seems like they know they have the power to make or break a family's hopes and dreams. There should be a law to prevent this from happening. I really hope others in my situation are not having as hard of time as I have. read more

Had me go through 4 rounds of interviews for their entry level position. Told me that I was not dressed appropriately enough to meet the district manager based on my prior round outfit (mind you I was dressed business professional just came from my other corporate job for the interview) and then the recruiter tried justifying the statement saying the district manager was just very conservative. Didn't get an offer after I was told post 3rd round that everyone loved and wanted to hire me.... I had a job via Insight that was 6 months contract to hire. My contract got extended, but the enterprise company in question had no intention of hiring ever. I felt mislead by Insight. What was worse was that I had another job with an awful on-site client manager and work environment. The manager had me unexpectedly vacated on the spot, like a criminal, and my recruiter didn't tell me this was going to happen. All she did was text me "sorry". I knew that I was "laid off due to budget cuts" but escorted out? I thought that I was being good finishing out the work day. Why didn't my recruiter let me know to leave right away on my own? Also, during my 8 days there, my recruiter was difficult to reach and told me she was too busy when I had tried to talk with her a couple days earlier... My project manager (on-site) liked my work and was expecting it even after I was vacated (the backend developer told me). Earlier, I told the PM that I was laid off, we shook hands, and I said I'd get my work to him...I knew it was my last day, and I thought that I was ending at 5pm. Why didn't my Insight recruiter help me? I was patronized...not allowed to save my work, told to slow down as I packed up quickly, told I'd find other work with my "pretty smile"...I didn't need that. My on-site manager lied, cursed, bad mouthed people, cut corners...someone had hung up on him during an interview. The person doing my job before me walked out. Luckily, most of the conversations that I had with my on-site manager, other people bore witness too. I filed EEOC and HR Complaints. And I am pursuing a lawsuit. But I am extremely disappointed with the support from Insight. read more

I worked with Steve Resnick and Justin Dhanda (at the Phoenix office) to get placed in a contract-to-hire role at one of their clients. I got in contact with Steve and Justin for the first time on a Monday, had an in-person interview with their client on Friday, and accepted an excellent offer two days later. Steve and Justin were in constant contact with me to provide timely updates and address and questions or concerns I had. What really stands out is how much Steve and Justin CARE about the work they do and the people it involves. While working with other technical recruiters previously, communication would be spotty and I'd often felt like a means to an end. While going through the process with Insight Global, Steve and Justin went above and beyond to get to know me, personally and professionally, to make sure they'd place me in the right role. Justin helped to carve out a personalized opportunity for me at his client that was tailored to my skillset. On Friday, Lauren (another IG recruiter) met me outside the client office to walk me into the interview. That was a really nice touch. After my in-person interview, I got cold feet about relocating out-of-state and making such a big career decision. When Justin called with the offer, my walls went up and I declined it, listing excuses for why it wasn't going to work (even though the position was exactly what I wanted). Justin spent HOURS on the phone with me that day, helping me weed through my hesitations, validating real concerns and helping me see where my thinking was distorted. He worked to get me in touch with reps at his client to talk about my concerns, so I'd feel 100% confident before making a decision. During this whole thing, he was patient and not pushy. I got the clarification I needed, my nerves subsided, and I accepted a fantastic offer from the client two days later. Throughout this whole process, I felt valued and unbelievably well taken care of by Steve and Justin. They went above and beyond in every aspect, and now I have my dream job! Everyone I've met so far at IG has been genuine, enthusiastic, kind, and has made my interests their priority. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. read more

Although I have worked for a variety of similar companies, Insight Global stands out among the rest because they go to great lengths to ensure their employees are positioned for success, in the office and outside. In addition to the typical benefits they also an assistance program for employees but most of all, they stand by their employees. With most agencies, they cater specifically to the client and will go to great lengths to ensure the client is happy, while ignoring the fact that the employee is being taken advantage of or even placed in situations where he/she will fail. They will even negotiate a fair salary for you which is of tremendous benefit and value. Naturally, there must be a balance and one must provide quality work for all clients, but if you are competent, willing to work hard, passionate about serving clients like you would want to be served, and looking for a company that values the client and YOU, this is the place to be. They are really bad at responding to emails. After three emails with no response I've given up. They totally didn't follow through with what they said they were going to do. They wasted my time having me drive down there just to fill out a questionnaire on a slow computer. They didn't even bother setting up the interview that they said they were going to. If you are called by Insight Global for a job opportunity, spend extra time up-front to verify that you are not categorically disqualified for the job they are trying to recruit for. Insight has now called me three times for the same job, each time assuring me I can have it and each time discovering that I don't have a bachelors degree and am 100% unable to even apply for said job. This is information that's clearly listed on my resume that they've just chosen to ignore apparently for the purpose of wasting my time, getting my hopes up and making me even sadder in what has become the saddest job search of my life. TL;DR: Insight Global hasn't actually read your resume and doesn't know if you are qualified for the jobs they recruit for, no matter what they say up-front. Spend extra time going over the qualifications before trusting them, and even then don't hold your breath or change your plans. read more

Another agency that is more concerned about putting bodies in chairs for profit than putting in the most qualified. They were more concerned about the names of the other companies I had interviews with than the job they presented me with. Aerospace in the Phoenix, AZ area is a tight niche group. I did business with the company they claimed had an opening, and position never existed, as I was an executive at another aerospace company, and this position was never available. I was told by Insight they pulled my resume off Careerbuilder. Seems to me they just wanted info on my current company to solicit, and get their foot in the door, and find out specific information on who I had interviews lined up with. If this was an agency my current or former company had business dealings with, I would have fired them immediately for using used car salesman tactics! read more

My experience with this company was poor. The recruiter lacked the basic understanding of the most common IT job tasks. Example: So do you know about the DNS? Really? THE DNS? Then she called my references and used them as cold call opportunities. They all called me to let me know she would not let them off the phone until they agreed to meet with her about doing staffing for them. In my opinion this is extremely unprofessional and annoying to my references. If anyone calls you from here about a job just hang up. I worked for them for 1 week-the employer they sent me to had slow computers,(slow like dial up), that went down twice in the 1 week I was there, so I went back & forth via email about it with Danielle. She said that she had never heard this before from any other employee(Lie #1). Then she asked me if I wanted to give my notice, I said no. Then the next day, an employee was rude to me, so I emailed Kelsey Jacobs my 2 week notice. Later that day, she came to where I was working, & said that the employer didn't want to train me anymore since I had given my notice, & that at the end of the current day, I would no longer be working for Insight Global, & that I was to turn in my badge to the employee up front. Now they are telling unemployment that I just quit, with no notice.(Lie #2). If I just quit without notice, why would I have turned in my badge, but not my shirts? And why would I show up 2 days later with the 3 shirts I had received the week before? Because I didn't quit, I was fired. Kelsey and Danielle are the biggest liars in that company. I was working with Natalie Bendroff. she is a nice person except that they lie about the pay when you get hired on. They told me the job would go to 40k after 6 months. which was a complete lie. it was actually set to go to 30k. after i accepted the position due to the pay, i quit my old job. After i got into the new position i talked to Natalie and she then stated she didnt know what the pay was after hire on. Which i found out was 26-30k. I would NEVER recommend this company. They even said after the assignment ended and never called me back about another position. They also never check up on you like they are suppose to and never respond to your calls. Stay away from this company. They have poor business values. The account manager will tell you your start date is tomorrow. In reality it was 3 months. The manager also stated it is a contract to hire position which in reality was a contract. Then this manager states that there is a miscommunication issue with their client. Really how stupid is this! I know they have a written contract with their client. This organization is only concerned with making money and will not have any issues with misrepresenting the position in order to fill it for their client's requirements. Best advice move on to an organization that will honestly represent both of their client's and candidate's requirements. read more
