I went in for any eye exam and extra testing. At the emd of my visit, I asked for my prescription for my glasses, she would NOT give it to me. She told me I would have to pay 30.00$. I said absolutely NOT. I just paid them a 50.00$ co- pay. AND, they proceeded then to tell me my vision check up is NOT covered under medical OR my vision insurance, because they are surgeons. SO, BEWARE OF THAT CHARGE. I did some research, and it is AGAINST THE LAW for them to not release your prescription/or charge you for it. I have filed claims with the BBB Federal Trade Commission Lisa Madigan's office My health insurance company. THIS office cannot make up any rule they want, their are guidelines. I asked when this rule started and she stated July 2017. Never did I recieve any mailing on this. Their seems to be a lot of seniors that go here, I wonder how many of them, they screwed out of 30$. 1 week aftee I had my office visit with Dr. Richards, I received a letter from her stating, she no longer wants me as a patient. PRETTY CRAPPY, on their end. Its fine, their are plenty more doctors out their who run an honest practice.

Sends all his patients flowers and had the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever seen. This doctor is one of a kind......his wife runs the office a gave me her cell number and was told to call at any time. A gem!!

One night I went to Bull Dogs Restaurant and I was in so much pain and our waitress Alexa suggested I see her mom who did cold laser therapy that could improve tissue repair and reduce pain an inflammation. I hurt quite a bit so I made an appointment for the next day and when I arrived I could not get out of my car. Bent over in pain I went in and was very optimistic. When asking questions about the procedure he does refer you to the scheduler or staff but HEY, he's trying to do his job, ok? So he doesn't want to make small talk while he is WRITING DOWN PRECISE measurements for your eye. So WHAT. When he does a lens for your eye surgery it is permanent. If you are THAT interested in the procedure look it up on YOUTUBE and you can watch the whole thing. Dr. Kappil also did my wife's eye as well and she is doing great.
